"I have seen your performance over the years. Congratulations to these of you who have stayed. I know I have been pretty tough on you at times. Some I have even labled as failures but you have proof me wrong and that is why you are still here standing", Mr Buffalo spoke to the class a minute before Bob entered. "Except one of course". That comment caused the whole class to laugh. "Lets go to the hall. Remember the arena where you connected with your animals behind the stage curtains? That is where your animals will be placed and you will command them when your names are called out".

"How will our animals get there? They are not allowed to walk down the hall and some of them might break things along the way". Eagle looked confused.

"There are some things you are better off not knowing. Let the school worry about that", Mr Buffalo spoke out calmly with a smile. His opinion towards Eagle had already changed drastically from viewing his as a loser to seeing him as a someone who never gives up. "Just be physically, mentally, and emotionally prepared. Today your standing in society will be determined. I am aware there are drop outs who get well paying jobs but they will never earn my respect as they obtain these jobs with the help of others or being popular or whatsoever not by their own efforts which you guys will be doing today. Some of you will even enter the University of Thanatos".

Edward who was putting his right arm around Tomi smirked at these words. He radiates a very confident persona which many of the other students did not possess.

"Lets get going. On the move now", Mr Buffalo spoke as he left the class. "These who arrive late will lose whatever chance they have and will automatically be given the lowest position possible".

Eagle nudged Bob who to his relief woke up and followed the rest of the class. Finding himself in the exact same position as when he first attended school with only one difference, the students were lining up according to their shirt colour. Eagle was pleased that he ended up behind Tomi once again. "Perhaps, I can impress Tomi and ask her out", he thought to himself. This time, he was wise enough not to blurt it out as he knew that Edward would respond, "In your dreams!"

"Everyone. To see the battle going on take a look at your phones and enter the website which link will be sent to you by sms. The battles played will be recorded at the same time. Congratulations once again for making it this far".

Ten students were randomly called out by Mr.Buffalo. Bob was one of them and so was Edward. An hour passed and a winner was the winner was no other than Tomi's new boyfriend. Edward unleashed his green internal energy and became one with his green anaconda, green cave bear, and Purrusaurus. Bob was sadly the first one to have all his animals killed. His cobra was swallowed by Edward's green anaconda, his leopard was killed by a tiger, and his brown rat was eaten by an Eastern indigo snake.

Tomi was next to be called up and so was Jake as well as Eagle himself together with seven other students. "This is not my lucky day", Eagle thought to himself.

"It never is from the start, isn't it?" Jake mocked. "I guess this is the last day I will be seeing you anyway, loser who calls himself an eagle".

Eagle did not respond. His only goal was to do the best he can knowing that he could at least be the top three knowing that his animals are one of the strongest. He was in for a rude surprise as Jake unleashed his animals upon Eagle's. His Nile croc killed killed Eagle's drop bear and his steppe green bear killed his green and black sun bear leaving him with only a green darner which was killed and eaten by a chickcharney which formerly belonged to Ann now under the command of Jake. This made Eagle the official loser.

Jake who controls animals which he obtained form Norman after the latter got expelled ended up the champion as well. "Well done, Jake, you are crown the champion". As Eagle walked out, he could hear everybody shouting, "Jake,Jake,Jake,Jake!"

Attemping to go back to the accomadation and pack his stuff, he was stopped by Mr Buffalo who called out, "You can't leave just yet. We have to assign you your position in society. Come here for a moment please".

Taking a sobbing Eagle aside, Mr Buffalo spoke with compassion, "Well done, Eagle. I never thought you would make it to the battle royale. If there is anything that you need to know to make you feel better, you have earned my respect. Now get back to the hall and wait for your certificate to be handed out. Well done".

"Thank you, sir". Eagle blew his nose into the tissue which had been handed over to him by Mr Buffalo.

Bart was announced the winner as well.

"How did someone from the cyan class do it?" Jake asked mockingly,.

"Remember the deal we made with the Red Class students? Animals from drop outs have been placed under my control too".

Veronica, Lusiana, and Alicia were also announced as winners.

"We can all be together. Yes we are a family", Jake cheered. Edward and Bart followed after.

"As if traitor", Eagle who was metres away mumbled.

Tomi did not look happy but she left and packed her stuff before disappearing immediately after she was handed her certificate. She had been unusually quite during the whole time of waiting and did not want to speak to anyone.

Eagle was given his certificate next and on it was written, a job as a janitor which is probably what Bob has too. "Can't be too bad. Many janitors get decent pay". Bob didn't look too happy.
