《Can A Random Dude From A Village Defeat An Overpowered Demon Lord》Chapter 1 : The New Beginning

My name is Azusa Nasake and I just died. It’s a weird thing to say but it’s true. Beside me is best friend Yano Hidezen. And an actual god is here apologizing to us because he accidentally killed us. “I am extremely sorry about what just happened” he says. “I accidentally sneezed while checking on the candles of life and blew yours out”. We were shocked just as anyone else would be.
A few minutes ago we were hit by a truck while coming home from school and died. Sounds very familiar to some certain fictional story.
I ask the god what would happen now? Would we go to heaven? God says “you will be reincarnated in another world which is very different from this one, beings there are born with many skills and abilities which allow them to learn things like magic, and as my apology I’ll give you both a skill by which you can learn any skills someone else can teach you”. He bids us farewell and the next thing we know we are newborn babies in another world.
The god had mentioned this world has been divided into 5 realms. One in every direction east, west, north and south and 2 that are hidden and inaccessible without using magic. Each with different inhabitants of different species. On the far edge of every realm there is a wall that divides them from a demonic hell like place called the treacherous abyss but people call it the black region. It is said it’s a curse to even say the name of it. Not much is known about it.
We were born in a small town in the northern region called goldspring in the human realm. The people of the town work in the goldmines in the town hence the name goldspring. In this world some humans are born with different abilities but our parents weren’t born with any special abilities. Humans without abilities are called weak and are discriminated against by the ones that do have them.

We were born in a worker family. We were born as twins in the same family. Our mothers name was Stella Chileever and our fathers name was Lucas Chileever. We were named Argos and Irakes Chileever. As time went on we regained memories about us being reincarnated. We lived a peaceful life in our village. When we were a bit older we went to a school. And read books from the village library. From the books we learned that the different races of each region could only learn a few skills from their own race and couldn’t learn the skills of other races.
Even in the schools there was discrimination between the humans with abilities called supremes and without abilities called inferiors. Inferiors would be bullied and they would be unable to fight back as they aren’t able to use magic or use any special skills.
Inferiors were said to be weak and unable to learn any skill. But because of the blessing god gave us we could learn any skill we wanted. By the time we turned 12 we had learned swordsmanship, archery and various other skills. The villagers were supportive to us as we were improving the name of our village but the supremes didn’t like how we could learn multiple skills.
This part of the human region is governed by the association called the imperial alliance and the royal family located in the royal capital. The capital was where the king, the royal family, government officials and the wealthy lived.
One day the royal guards came to inform the villagers about taxes being raised by the royal capital. The villagers were unhappy to hear about this and tried to quarrel with the guards but they threatened us saying “whoever refuses to pay will be executed. Hearing this the villagers had no choice but to do as the administration demanded.

Irakes has always had a bad temper. When he heard this he was enraged and threw a rock at one of the guards. Injuring their face. The guards were enraged and captured Irakes. Our Family begged them to spare him but the guards didn’t listen. They threatened us saying anyone who tried to stop them would also be captured. They decided to throw Irakes into the black region. Irakes trembled in fear but couldn’t do a thing. They rode off with Irakes on their horse carriage. When the guards returned they told the villagers they threw Irakes in the black region and he should be dead by now and if anyone dares to not follow the orders of the imperial alliance they would have the same fate.
Our family was heartbroken. My parents felt guilty of not being able to do anything for their child. But I knew Irakes would be alive as he survived even death with me and he wasn’t weak to not be able to fend off some monsters. Without Irakes we had a lot more work to do to earn money. I helped my father with the work. I did work during the day and trained at night as I decided that I would rescue Irakes from the black region and began studying and training. After earning enough money to sustain my family I bid my parents farewell and went on a journey to learn skills from all over the human region. I trained for 5 years and learned many skills and could learn at an astonishing speed due to god’s blessing
After training for 5 years I had become strong and I decided to now start my journey to the black region but first I decide I should go to visit my parents after the long five years. I went back to my small and peaceful town to meet my parents and tell them I will be going to the treacherous abyss. I then set out on a carriage to go to back home to my small town of goldspring.
After 3 days of travel I reached my town. My parents were extremely delighted to see me. The villagers were also happy that I was doing well. I spent the night here, in the morning I was about to tell my parents about going to the black region. I didn’t tell them the night before as they would be worried. I had breakfast and told my parents about it. They were very worried just as I thought but they didn’t stop me as they knew I was already determined.
I bid them farewell and went towards the station to get a horse carriage to the black region. I got one and set off on my journey.
