I dug for hours before falling into a cavern. It was littered with bones and had knee high murky bloody water. Floating above it was a lime green orb pulsating. It must have noticed me because it glided fast towards my slowly descending flight with green tentacles like aura coming out of it to grasp me. It must have known wasting its mana on summoning undead would only lead to me burning everything down including it or just maybe it wanted to test its strength against me. Its tentacles were numerous and the size of the orb was at least six feet tall. Taking the full force of each blow felt like being hit by boulders. I tried biting one of its translucent appendage but they seem to be ethereal and faze out of existence. Out of pure frustration I collided with it at my full descending force making us both crash to the ground. One of my wings seemed to be broken which pissed me off as I tried opening it. Taking a look under me I noticed that the battle was over as the crash had split the dungeon core in half. That was anticlimactic and brief but without any warning I felt Precious pulsate on me and watched as the broken green core turned into jell and moved up my body and started to be devoured by Precious. I could feel that our link has strengthened and something more has been added into my core next to my heart. Now how do i get out of this bloody pit?
