Sooooo most likely you are thinking "ohhh magic and mana that would be cool".
Well you aren't the only one thinking that, most people are thinking that, however we are trying to do exactly that, bringing mana and magic to this world.
No I haven't smoked a 2 meters joint, nor drank 20 liters of vodka... scratch that, yesterday we did the first successful test and we hmmm... let's just say that we celebrated quite a bit.
Now, going back to the topic. we already tried way too many things: creating artificial mana, searching for mana gates or points, summoning entities, meditation, electrocution, opening the third eye (mistakes were made, thankfully the tes subject will be ok - Leon), veganism (hey it worked for Todd - Leon), and well as before, tried most normal and not so normal things.

Well then, let me answer your questions.
My full name is Domitius Fran, everyone calls me Dom and by everyone I mean, Leon and Georg.
34 years old, programmer, gamer, avid reader and all around geek.
My partners in crime are Leon Tippus, the engineer of the group and Georgina Aquila, our sharp eyed scientist and math nerd (stop making fun of her and those ugly ass glasses that she uses - Leon). They are not that important so just forget about them ( HEY! - Georg & Leon).
You are reading this because you found it and looks interesting, and yes I'm not crazy, my mother had my tested.
Also Georgina is a nerd because math is nerdier, programming is "geeky". Yeah shut up, is my diary not yours.
Now, going back to the mana experiment. As far as we could test, our earth may had mana at some point which may have helped on our evolution and as a result of that, vanished. Yeah i'm a romantic and that seems possible, however we all have different theories. Georg goes for the no mana ever while Leon is defending the "mana is everywhere but extremely thin or we couldn't be intelligent", yeah as if.

But short story shorter, if we want mana our world can't help us. If that is so then maybe we can draw mana from another world but that will take too long to check and we don't have a personal spaceship to use.
Looking for more possibilities we ended on this, creating a micro portal to another reality, maybe another earth does have mana, and if we can study that mana, mayyyyybe we could create more or get more data. That way we know how to proceed.
To continue the experiments we needed an LHC, thankfully Leon family has more money that you could possibly imagine, count, and manage in a few lifetimes so we could "rent" the Cern's LHC and "borrow" some tech personal to conduct a few tests.
We were quite lucky (luck had nothing to do, I'm that good - Georg), in retrospective, maybe we weren't.
A micro hole was opened several times, the first 2 with no results, the 3rd we got another world, the 4th, 5th and 7th were also worlds but no mana, and finally the 9th it had a world with a type of radiation that we could call mana.
Yeah banzai, kampai, others "ai's" and we drank like vikings after a battle. (Mr viking, you fell asleep after the 2nd shot of Baileys and Leon defying all logic got drunk with a virgin screwdriver - Georg) (well sorry miss "I only drink filtered water" - Leon) (Could you BOTH stop messing with my notes - Dom).
After that the next day we review the data even with the hangover (so manly Fran, wasted and had a hangover after 2 shots - Georg & Leon) (Fuck you kindly both, time to hide this in another folder. AND MY NAME IS DOMITIUS NOT FRAN - Dom). So yeah we started repeating the experiment so we could compile more data to analyze.

Now my mother, in peace may she rest, always told me not to poke things several times because usually a reaction will come, and Mr Universe wasn't happy that we punched so many holes, so the last time a small rip opened. You can imagine that the LHC had a small "mishap". That "mishap" destroyed a part of the installation and that mana like energy signature poured in our little world.
Next thing I remember is waking up on a yellow tent alone.
