《HP The Birth Of Darkness》Azkaban

As Alexander thought about the probability that he would survive his prison sentence, before the people who convicted him went to murder him,
an old man approached his cell.
When Alexander looked up and saw the old man sit in a chair in front of his cell, he recognized him.
He is one of the wizards belonging to the wizengamot, I remember that the minister Fawley called him Tiberius.
Alexander looked at him without intending to speak to him.
The old Tiberius was also silently watching him.
So Tiberius decided to speak and said "boy, you're probably thinking that it just happened and why they condemned you"
Alexander just looked at him.
"It is much simpler than you can imagine boy"
"Some families consider the surname Gaunt a disgrace to the pureblood family, their behavior does not reflect the nobility and status that a family should have"
"This is why his family's decline has been so rapid in recent centuries, although in reality most of the blame falls on the ignorant and stupid people in your family."
"One of the last descendants of the Gaunt family was sentenced today, you."
"Although your grandfather's prison time is short and he will be out in a few months, he is old and does not represent any risk"
"Your uncle is a complete idiot, something very usual in your family I have to say and after a few years in Azkaban it will probably get worse"
"Your mother did well to escape, although I wouldn't be surprised if her house suddenly exploded or she was accidentally run over by a car"
"I have to say that some people seemed somewhat annoyed by the intelligence you showed ."
"But no one believes that you are able to survive and stay sane during your time in Azkaban," said Tiberius with a sad face.
As Alexander listened to Tiberius speak he began to understand a little of the plot that was unfolding.
He was a small animal in a large spider web that slowly wrapped around him and was about to go to the spider's den.
So Alexander decided to ask the old wizard

"Then tell me what do you want from me?"
"I don't think you will help me escape from my cell" Alexander said jokingly as he waved the handcuffs
Hearing this, Tiberius looked at him curiously and said, "Boy, your future is really a shame. You are very intelligent, surely you would be an excellent wizard, not many can laugh at his death."
"I really don't want anything from you, Griselda told me about you and we wanted to help you"
"Unfortunately it was not enough," Tiberius said with a sigh.
Alexander was curious because everyone thought he was going to die in prison and decided to obtain information on where he would be held before it was too late.
"Sir, then why does everyone think I will die in prison?"
"What is it that has everyone so terrified"
Hearing this question, Tiberius was stunned for a few seconds, then as he directed his gaze to the floor it seemed somewhat disoriented in his gaze as if thinking about the past.
After a few seconds, he said "in Azkaban, there are some very strange beings"
After saying this he was silent for a while, then he continued
"The magical community calls them Dementors, they are dark creatures that feed on the happiness of the person, leaving him with feelings of despair and sadness"
"The vast majority of Azkaban prisoners have died due to insanity, some of them decided to commit suicide when they could no longer bear it or perhaps in their own insanity."
"The lucky ones just go crazy," said Tiberius, looking at Alexander's expressions.
Alexander calmly listened to what awaited him in the future and replied to Tiberius.
"They look like very peculiar creatures, I wonder what kind of happiness they will be able to take from me" Alexander said while laughing quite loudly almost madly, it seemed that he had just heard a great joke.
Tiberius looked at him and frowned, Alexander didn't know what he was thinking.
After a time Tiberius decided it was time to go.
While he was leaving he did not forget to tell Alexander "boy I hope you can survive"

Alexander only watched him go in silence.
So he decided to just wait calmly to be transported to the place where he would live for years to come.
"I hope I don't have to share a room with some crazy person, the worst option would be with my grandfather or my uncle"
"I wonder if I ask for an individual cell, they would give it to me, you know a child must have his privacy"
As Alexander waited in silence he thought about how ironic his life was
After spending years fighting in space wars, murdering many enemies, and earning many honors in his admiral uniform, the republic did not care and disappointed him by favoring the son of a powerful family by ruining his life and happiness.
Then he ended up imprisoned, tortured, and executed
When he thought that he could start an interesting life with magic, he had to be born into a family on the verge of disappearing, and now as if it were a joke of fate, he returns to prison again.
Although he did not deny how interesting the so-called dementors were and his curiosity to see what kind of happiness they were able to take away and if that feeling still existed in his being.
While they were waiting in silence in that old cell, two guards approached and when they opened the door of their cell they spoke to him.
"Get up boy, it's time to go to your new and probably the one that will be your last home"
Then I got up and followed the two men.
We went out into the hallway that connects all the doors to the elevator.
We walked towards the elevator, when I thought we were going to another floor, we entered a door next to the elevator.
Inside was a large fireplace and another man.
I am surprised when he turns because he is Minister Fawley.
He looks at me for a few seconds and nods at the two people who are with me, I see that he has a bag in his hand and from there he throws a kind of strange dust in the fireplace and this flame quickly turns emerald green.
While this is happening, I understand what the minister asked of the two men because they quickly covered my ears with something and also covered my face and I can't see anything.
I could only sign and I couldn't help but think "There can only be two reasons for this, they plan to execute me or the place where the prison is is a secret"
"I hope for my sake that it is the second option"
It seems that we entered the fireplace because we walked in a straight line, the two men were guiding me while we walked for a long time, I wonder what they used to remove my senses because I really can't hear or see absolutely anything.
The only thing I can use to guide myself is to feel that I am stepping, I can say that when we enter the fireplace we go out to another house or at least to a place with a wooden floor and it seems that we leave that site quickly because I felt like we were treading ground.
I was surprised when I felt that I was stepping on something much softer and I can feel a strong wind.
It seems very likely that we are on a beach.
Feeling that confirms when we get on a boat.
After a while with the movement of the boat, they took away what I had on.
Then I was able to see my new home.
An island in the middle of the water with a huge tower.
But without a doubt what was striking was the flying beings that surrounded him.
That must be the dementors that Tiberius spoke,
They looked quite large and only a black robe was visible, they flew everywhere on the island.
It seems pretty scary I have to confess.
As we got closer to the island the temperature of it seemed to decrease, I could see that the two guards and the minister were eating some chocolates.
I wonder what they will do.
When we arrived at the island some dementors began to approach us.

Summary: A spell of arctic weather. A mysterious death. The reading of a will. Strange tracks in the snow. Eleven-year-old Danny Hallow accepts his life, such as it is. His father is dead, his mother left years ago. His three Keepers are the only people aware of Danny's erratic and not-very-impressive psychic abilities. When Danny's estranged Uncle Enoch dies under mysterious circumstances, he and his Keepers are called to the town of Eddystone, New Hampshire for the reading of the man's will. Traveling four hundred miles from his dreaded hometown to attend, Danny is happy to get away, possibly inherit something interesting- and maybe find out more about his family while he's there. Arriving at the crumbling family estate of Gnomewood Home, he finds it to be hauntingly familiar, a bit creepy, oddly comforting, and possibly alive. When his uncle's will reveals that he's inherited Gnomewood and everything in it, he's determined to stay and make a happier life for himself in Eddystone, somehow. But at Gnomewood, he finds more questions than answers to his family's secrets. Disturbing old memories come to him in dreams. His psychic abilities begin to grow stronger, and as a result he becomes aware that a horde of cryptic creatures are plaguing the town of Eddystone, seemingly drawn out by the spell of an unusually frigid February. Toothy little goblins that are sneaky, vicious, and hungry. Goblins that take a particular interest in Danny. Will the emergence of the alien, and potentially dangerous, power he's inherited from his peculiar family tree help Danny survive the goblin infested winter, inadvisable attempts to befriend a terrifying boy with silver eyes, and a new school? Only if he learns to control them before they put him and everyone around him in danger. Before they convince some people that he should never have been allowed to exist at all. Before he becomes just another twisted tale in his family's bizarre history, kept hidden for centuries within the ivy-covered walls of Gnomewood Home.
