《HP The Birth Of Darkness》Wizengamot

When these 3 people arrived at my cell, the woman spoke up and said "Bob, open the door"
Bob quickly pulled out a strange key and unlocked the cell.
Then the woman said "boy how did you sleep, I hope you have rested because today will be a very long day for you".
As the woman looked at me, she seems to be waiting for an answer.
Then I point to my mouth and point to the guard at her table.
Seeing this, the woman frowns and yells at the guard, "Hey old man, what did you do to the boy? I didn't expect that from you, intimidating a little wizard."
Then the guard replied "shut up Griselda, you still need to be 100 more years old before you can yell at me, you're lucky I didn't know that this little rat was a Gaunt or else you wouldn't need to judge him"
Hearing this, the 3 people in front of me were somewhat annoyed by the man's statement.
"It seems that the old man is not just an ordinary guard" Alexander thought
"Hmm, you're already retired, so don't cause problems," Griselda replied.
So she pulled out a wand and while pointing it at me she said "Finite"
A faint red light shot out of her wand and hit me.
I could feel my tongue stop being stuck to my palate.
While trying to regain the sense of my language the woman said "come with me Alexander"
then we start walking towards the elevator
When we passed the old guard's desk, he said the following: "Be careful boy, I'll see you when you least expect it."
In order not to seem too cowardly, I replied "I'll be waiting for your old man"
The old man laughed loudly and replied "of course yes boy"
When the elevator doors closed, Mrs. Griselda said: "you shouldn't disturb that old man, he is quite dangerous and he has some problems with your family".

"Thanks for telling me the obvious" Alexander thought.
"Boy, I want to help you, but should you tell me the truth, did you kill him or was it someone else?"
"What spell did they use?"
"Where's the wand?"
Before these questions, Alexander decided not to answer because he was not clear about who she was, or if she really would be of help in his case.
Before the silence, Griselda spoke again "I think I have not presented myself correctly"
"My name is Griselda Marchbanks and I belong to a select group of wizards who preside over a magical court called wizengamot, where we deliberate on the most important magical crimes for the British magical world"
"Your situation has drawn a lot of attention from the wizarding world, this is due to the implications that could arise in many of the wizarding rules for wizards and also for minors."
"So boy, do you have something to tell me?"
After hearing this Alexander thought many things, but he continued thinking that the most sensible thing was to proceed in silence, he did not know the veracity of what she was telling him and he seriously doubted what help this wizard could offer him.
When it seemed that silence would reign in the elevator, Alexander asked: "Mrs. Griselda, I just want to ask you if I can defend myself at any time during the trial against what they say about me, or if on the contrary, I will have to wait in silence."
Something amazed by the boy's response was seen in Griselda's reaction but she replied "you can intervene at any time in the trial if you have something to say about the issues that are discussed in your trial, although I do not recommend it, boy, you can make things worse instead of improving it "
"Believe me, boy, you already have enough problems"
As I watched the numbers go by in the elevator, when we passed number 9 I heard some voices in my head saying

"WE ARE WAITING"
"IT WILL NEVER BE TOO LATE"
"THE TIME IS COMING"
Stunned by the voices that sounded in my head, I look at the 3 people in the elevator and see that they seem normal.
I couldn't help but ask "didn't you hear that?"
They looked at each other and Griselda asked: "Do we hear the what?"
It seems that it was only me who heard the voices, so I just said "nothing, it seems I'm still tired"
At this Mrs. Griselda looked at me carefully while frowning and then looked at button number nine.
Although he didn't say anything to me again I could see that he seemed to be thinking about what he had just said.
When the elevator reached the 10th floor, we got out and I could see that there were a large lobby and a fairly long hallway leading to a large door.
we headed for that door, as we walked down that hallway I saw many doors, strangely I didn't see any other person.
When we got close to the door there were some benches and Griselda said
"Boy, sit down while you wait for them to call you, Rufus, take care of the little one, so he doesn't do anything strange"
Immediately when she went to the door she opened herself inside, while Griselda and Bob entered that room.
After they had both entered, the door closed on its own.
While waiting for someone to call me, I couldn't help but be a little nervous.
"Hell, I was locked up for a long time, it would be a bad joke to be reborn and have to be locked up for life again"
While thinking about the bad luck I have had in this new life, Rufus carefully looked at my expressions on the face, it is not something that matters to me the truth.
After waiting for an indeterminate time, although it must have been a few hours, I would think, 3 soft blows sounded.
Then Rufus grabbed my arm and said "boy, it's time to go inside,"
We approached the door and it opened "as if by magic"
When we entered the room I could see what the place was like where my trial would take place.
It was a small room, there was a chair in the middle and it was surrounded by many seats in the stands
I was amazed to see that there were many people, I thought that the trial was somewhat more private, but I could easily count between 100 and 200 people.
There was a lot of noise since all the wizards were constantly talking to each other, but when they noticed my presence as I approached the chair they kept quiet until when I sat down there was total silence in the room.
I was able to observe many wizards in front of me, all dressed in a plum-colored robe, and on their robe, there was a silver letter W insignia.
There was a person who stood out among them because he was sitting in a privileged position, his place was in a much higher position than the others, and in a place that looked like a desk, it seemed the judge who would take my trial.
While I was looking at him closely, he was also watching me.
After a few seconds, he took a small skull in his hand and hit his desk hard, and shouted.
Today, January 15, 1926, we will begin the trial for the assault on Muggle property, theft, and murder of a Muggle person.
The wizengamot will start the session and who chairs it is Hector Fawley, the current minister of the magic of the ministry.

Also there is a slight mention of LGBTQ+, so please don't read this short story if even a short mention bothers you. ======================= My first short story (It's short - 5 chapters, 10,000 word-ish kinda short! And also completed *self pats* that I will be releasing in mini chapters (of 500-800 words each) on Fridays and Saturdays.). Happy to hear actionable and constructive criticisms on how I can improve, but please don't be too harsh okay? :) I know it's not perfect. But hey, we all have to start somewhere.

Don't worry if you're not. I've added a short description of the original Mahabharat plot in the book for those. This story will follow the original mahabharat storyline but in a vastly different way with a lot of twists and events in my style. 😉 I'm aware Mahabharat holds religious sentiments for some and I do not INTEND to offend anyone. This is for entertainment purpose only. So don't get serious or offended please. And I apologise in advance if you feel hurt by any content of the book.
