Alcherial Mansion
Hanshen’s POV
I heard a sound of the wood; it was a knock on the door. I stop kissing her as I understand that I am alive and in one of our mansions rooms. The beautiful young lady walks away and opens the door. As she opens the door I see five silhouettes. I saw my mother together with my cousins; they were the closest to me in our family.
As I saw two of my closest cousins entering the room with my mother I saw two people in their back. It was a beautiful lady that looked like my mother, she was my older sister; she was the only sibling that I have seen when I was a kid. She was older than me. There was a man beside him, the man I fought.
When I saw the man I instinctively began to stand but I fell down unable to muster any strength. I don’t know how many days I’ve been laying on this bed. I felt weak. It is strange that I can’t feel any mana and spirit in my body.
“Ahhhh!” I whimpered as I fell.
“Hold yourself my son. He means no harm to us he was your brother.” My mother said while seeing me with fire in my eyes.
I was shocked and don’t know what to say. I looked at the man and I see some resemblances between us I was about to speak when..
“My young brother, forgive this old brother of yours for the misunderstanding that I brought to you. It’s my fault that this thing happened to you. I am your older brother, Halewin Alcherial.” He said with guilty conscience shown in his face.
“Haha! Our little Hanshen, I don’t know you’re such an idiot to misunderstand the situation.”
“Haha! Just like when you were a kid, you misunderstand a tadpole into a fish. Haha!”
Lyca and Lysa said following each other teasing me.
As they said it the whole surrounding fills with laughter. Even the young beautiful lady beside them laughs a bit after hearing my cousins.
I looked down as words don’t fit in my mouth. My mother seeing my reaction she instantly changed the topic.
“My son, I’m thankful that you’re alright. Where have you been for the past 5 years? For all these years we’ve been missing you, thinking and praying that you’re alright. I almost run away from home just to search for you and forget the oath in our family.”
She said it to me with worried expression. I looked at her and closed one of my fists and covered it with the other.
“Mother, I Hanshen Alcherial your son is back.” I said it while wrapping my fist and bowing my head slightly; it was a sign of respect.
My mother happily embraces me while tears of joy could be seen in her eyes falling. I felt the love and affection that I have longed for and began to cry.
My cousins and siblings walked out in the room seeing us like this. Only me, my mother and the young beautiful lady was in the room now.
As my mother stop embracing me and start to wipe his tears with her handkerchief, I clear my face with my piece of cloth.
When I cleared my face, my mother was still wiping her tears of joy. I looked at the young beautiful lady and wondered who she was. As I look at her I see her looking at me when our eyes met she looks away while blushing.

“Excuse me my lady, I don’t mean to offend you but sorry to ask this. Have we met before? I don’t recognize you. Who are you? Maybe it’s because the effect of the battle my mind was still can’t remember some things.”
I ask her while reasoning that I have forgotten about her because of the battle but the truth is I don’t really know her. I saw her blushing even more and she was about to say something but was interrupted by my mother.
“My young Hanshen, it’s a rude thing to say that to a beautiful lady. Do you really don’t recognize her?” My mother chuckled a bit while asking me.
“Mother, I’m sorry but for now I don’t and I can’t recognize her. I’m sure that I would not forget her if I saw her even once before with her beauty that rival the almighty goddess of the heaven.”
While saying this I saw the young lady covered her face with her hands and tries to walk to in my mother’s back to hide from my gaze but my mother seeing this began to laugh and said…
“Oh! Please excuse me for a moment my son seems like I have to leave you two for a while.”
My mother said smiling and walks out in the room closing the door. Then as my mother left us I saw her hesitating to follow.
She sighs and sits beside me unwillingly with shyness in her face. I saw her blushing face, she was cute and very beautiful indeed. Saying that she rivals the beauty of the almighty goddess of heaven is not an exaggeration, it was the truth.
With her beautiful dress that fit her perfect body curves with her long black and smooth shiny hairs, with her tantalizing blue sapphire eyes with its luscious long eyelashes that can pierce any men’s heart. She was like a beautiful goddess that can’t be compares to anyone. Even monsters with high intelligence will fall in love with her. My heart beats faster every second while staring at her.
“Uhmm..” She said.
“What’s that my lady?” I asked her like a man.
“I’m Rioanne. We have met when you are two years old. I was three years old back then.” She said hesitatingly.
“Rioanne?” I said in asking tone thinking that I would remember.
“Rioanne Alcherial.” She answered with her full name. Then a memory of my childhood appeared in my mind.
“Oh! You mean that kid? You are the same Rioanne that always follow me?” I said with a surprised expression. She didn’t answer then as I stare at her for a little longer…
“AHHH!” I said with a loud voice. I see some resemblance. Back when I was a child, there was a little girl that was a bit taller than me. She looks like a boy with a short hair and eyes with red.
Hearing me saying this with surprised looked on me she began to turn her back on me. I don’t know if she was shy or mad at me not recognizing her. Then I weakly hold her arm and she began to look at me in the face. I started moving closer to her as our eyes met and stares each other. I saw her eyes with a little tear I don’t know but I started hugging her.
“I’m sorry. I’m sorry for not recognizing my future wife. I’m sorry for being an idiot like before.” I said it while hugging her.
As we are hugging each other someone barged in.

“So our little boy was turning to man huh?” They said.
I saw my cousins and my older sister chuckling while teasing me.
“How can you be like that? You’re not even married yet and you’re doing something huh!”
They continued teasing me as I stop hugging Rioanne and turned to my bed.
“I don’t feel good. I have a headache. I think I have a fever.”
I said to them in order to dodge their watchful gaze and avoid their teasing.
“After caressing a young lady you turned away!”
“Are you a real man? When you got busted by us you hide in your blanket.”
“A rude guy indeed and he was more like a jerk too.”
“Look at Rioanne she almost cries because of you. Do you have any conscience?”
“Stop hiding in your blanket and face us.”
They said teasing me. Then I heard someone knock on the door and enter the room.
“Hanshen, my son. Get up in your bed. I’ve brought food for you I know you felt weak and you’re hungry.”
I get up hearing my mom. I saw her preparing my meal while the ladies where silently looking at me and it makes me feel unease.
My mother felt my uneasiness and ordered the ladies to walk out in the room.
“Ladies, stop teasing Hanshen. Please excuse us for a moment. Let him regain his strength back before you bully him again.”
My mother said supporting me. The ladies in the room step outside the room and my mother close the door and locked it so I can eat fully and relax a little.
As I was eating, mom was staring at me with concern. She was like holding something inside her but she can’t say it to me. I didn’t try to ask her what is it so to not spoil the mood.
As I finished eating my mother face brightens and lightens up then I ask her.
“Mom, I have questions.” I said asking.
“What is it my son?” My mother said with a concerned look.
“Mother, why can’t I feel my mana and spirit?” I asked her politely.
“My son, I don’t know. Maybe it’s because you’re energy is still not returning and maybe it’s because of too much sleep your body became stiff.”
As she said it I know that what troubles her is this. She was hiding something. I can feel it in her and see it in her eyes.
“Mother, how many days I have slept?”
“Two weeks, my son. Wait a moment I’ll be back later just rest here.” She said in a hurry, she was avoiding me.
“Mom! I know your hiding something and I know it’s because of me. It’s because of my condition, is it not? Please tell me Mom. I’m at a legal age now.”
I said it to my mother the she face me with a sad look in her eyes.
“My son, the doctor said that you would not be able to use your spirit and you can’t use magic for the time being.”
She paused a moment while explaining to me with a puzzled look in her face.
“The doctor also said that you can’t use an artifact involving mana and spirit energy. He said that you’ll regain your spirit and mana a decade or two. I’m sorry my son. It was our fault. I’m sorry. We can’t do anything.”
As my mother was about to cry…
“I understand Mom. Don’t worry I’m strong.” I said comforting her. I said it with full of confidence to not make her worry about me. This news shocked me but it’s my fault. My foolishness brought me here.
Seeing me with confidence my mother hugged me and leave the room. For a while I was alone in the magnificent room.

Hanshen’s POV
As I stand in the middle of the hall I feel uneasiness. Many people surround me, they were all looking at me. My mother and my brother that was with me left me and stand among the crowd they said that it was part of my age ceremony and I shall make a speech.
“Good day to each and everyone. First of all I would like to apologize. I have harmed the guests in my welcoming ceremony. I brought troubles to everyone. I am sorry. Please forgive this young foolish and stupid me. I am Hanshen, Hanshen Alcherial apologizing to all of you.”
I wrapped my fist again and bow to the crowd. They all looked at me as silenced ruled the hall. I stand firm and continue my speech.
“I’m Hanshen, the youngest brother of Halewin Alcherial, and son of Lyra and Haleking Alcherial. I know many of you here wants to ask me questions, I would like to answer it all but as you can see I’m still weak. I would answer your questions later this night in the banquet that my family has prepared. But to not waste your precious time I would answer a few questions for you all.”
I said it loud and clear without using spirit or mana. It hurts my throat since I am not familiar in this kind of feeling. Then someone walks towards me. I heard the people whispering his name “The Ruler”.
“I have a question that anyone wants to ask to. In your 5 years of journey in the world what have you done to become this strong? Where have you been the whole time? I know you’re weakened so I’ll help you out just say your answer in an normal tone and anyone here would hear your voice.” The ruler asked me.
“Elder, I thank you for your concern.”
“On the first month I went in the nearby town and gathered information in where I could go and train. As I learned that a school is impossible for me and it was dangerous for me to make an artifacts shop I went in Larra Forest which I found safe to live in. It was a secluded area so I decided I would stay there and train.”
I said it briefly but surprisingly all the people look at me understanding what I’ve said. The ruler must have used voice telepathy, I thought.
As the people understand what I said, they looked at me with disbelief. They all know that Larra Forest have only weak monsters roaming and people traveling there was rare to see. So they wondered how I became strong.
“So you are saying that you only stayed there and trained in peace?” The ruler asked following his previous questions.
“Yes Elder. I didn’t bother going in town because it’s too far in the forest. I only visit rock village 3 years ago. I watched duels there and studied it. I even watched the famous battle between Varzer and a dragonican.” I answered briefly and direct.
“Oh? So you fight duel there too?” The ruler asked after hearing that I went in Rock Village.
“No Elder.” I said strongly.
“Where did you learn how to fight? Fighting monsters and men are two different things. As I have watched you fighting two weeks ago I have concluded that the ability you display comes from a fierce battle expirience.” The ruler said like he was so sure.
“I just imagine an enemy. I remembered all the duels and try to imagine that I was fighting them and…”
Unable to continue the ruler asked me again..
“Excuse me but are you saying you haven’t fought any real duel?” He asked with curiosity and amazements.
“As I was saying I have fought only one duel. That is my first and only duel I fought in 5 years of training. Almost all the time I only fought my lion, Fargo.” I said.
“I’m sure you won that duel.” The ruler and the crowd said.
“No Elders. I lost one-sidedly.”
“Oh so he was an expert and years older than you?” They said.
“No Elders. He was young too maybe around the same age as me.” I said.

All the people looked surprised they can’t believe that Hasnhen lost in a one on one fight and at the same age as him. The young man that gave a hard time to all of them lost one-sidedly.
They have asked all their questions to the young man in the banquet that happened that night. And that day have passed like any ordinary day.
