"Ah... I'll just go meet the lord of this city! Why not?" (Ethos)

I start walking towards the keep of th city in my... Smithing outfit...

"Well.... This outfit won't do at all... I need something more... Fancy." (Ethos)

I focus on creating new pieces of clothing and finally create a long coat made out of leather, a pure-white shirt underneath the long coat and the long coat is open from the front. I also have pure-black pants and shoes and I have a fedora with a white line but is pure-black aswell.

I just like the colour black a lot... And this outfit is perfect!

I put on the new clothing on through using my inventory that comes with the game functions so I don't have to undress... It's way easier to do things thanks to the game functions and all of the screens.

It's annoying that I basically have admin rights though... I can ban or kick anybody from the game of Globus Online if I wished and I could also apparently make important NPC's like quest givers or kings into A.I if I wanted to...

There are a lot of other functions aswell... Like I could litteraly go into editor mode and change things around in the world if I wanted to. Well... That is what the editor mode says to me atleast.

I really do not know what I can do in the Virtual Reality worlds due to me being all-powerful... Can I make new solar systems and add new worlds to explore?

Or can I just press a 'random solar system' button so I can have fun? I really have no idea...

Ah... I'll figure it out later.

Right now I am standing infront of the Castle Gates and two guards are blocking my entrance with spears.

"Hmm? Two guards? Can you please let me pass. I just need to speak with the king a bit." (Ethos)

"No can do. The King has an important meeting with the lords of the realm so nobody can enter." (Guard)

"Come on now... I won't do anything... Just let me go inside... Before I force myself inside." (Ethos)

"Hah! You don't seem to have any power even! What can you do!" (Arrogant Guard)

"Oi! Don't say that! We don't know who this guy is!" (Guard)

I laugh a little and grab the arrogant guards hand.

"Want to see what I can do?" (Ethos)

I say that last part while my eyes are completely ice-cold and seem willing to kill a person or two or million.

"Nevermind! Your eyes tell everything I need to know!" (Arrogant Guard)

I let go of the man and return to my happy non-killing self.

"Well? Can I enter?" (Ethos)

"Fine. Just don't cause any trouble... I don't want to get demoted... Well it won't be as bad as death but still..." (Guard)

"Ah, thank you! As a reward for being understanding... How much do you get payed?" (Ethos)

"Five silver coins a month... Barely enough to get by..." (Guard)

"Can you show me a silver coin?" (Ethos)

"Sure." (Guard)

The guard brings out a silver coin engraved with a falcon at the front and two feathers at the side. I look at the other side of the coin and it is the exact same.

"Hmm... Well, here you go!" (Ethos)

With one swipe of my hand the coin in the man's hand starts multiplying into sixteen silver coins.

"That should be enough for a month or two or even three if you spend it wisely." (Ethos)

The guard looks at his hand that had one coin but now has sixteen coins and then looks at me in surprise.

"How... Can I thank you enough... I was going to ask for more money from my captain today because my son was sick... But now I have enough money for one month and for my son's medicine! Thank you!" (Guard)

"Hahah! You don't need to thank me so much. If you need anything... Just ask God. The Virtual Reality god." (Ethos)

I laugh a little while entering. The Arrogant guard looks at his pal and then at me and seems dissapointed that he got nothing.

If you are arrogant towards an unknown person who might me the most important man in the world currently then ofcourse you get nothing!

I keep walking towards the keep and reach it pretty fast. There are four different guards, and by different I mean their coat of arms, standing infront of the door.

Well... I did see a lot of different guards that had different coats of arms running around the place.

I walk towards the guards and they notice me.

"Halt! What is your business here?" (Guard)

"I just came to meet the King! I have some things to discuss with him." (Ethos)

"Do you have the letter of entrance?" (Guard)

"No... But you can make an exception for me right?" (Ethos)

"Sorry, but I can't. There is an important meeting going on and I don't need a random man just walking into there and causing trouble..." (Guard)

"Please? Pretty please?" (Ethos)

"Sorry! But you cannot enter!" (Guard)

"Fine... I'll just break the wall then." (Ethos)

I walk to the side of the gate and the guards look at me like I am joking.

I stop a few meters away from the gate and look at the wall. The next moment my fist comes into contact with the wall and the wall blows up and rocks fly everywhere and I walk into the keep.

The guards look at me with their jaws dropped and their spears are on the ground.

"I told you I was going to break the wall." (Ethos)

I laugh and walk in. I look around to make sure I hurt nobody and I see that I broke into the wine storage room... There is a lot of wine on the ground and a lot of barrels everywhere.

"Oops... Well... It's not wise to cry about spilt wine." (Ethos)

I keep walking through the wine storage room and notice that I should probably fix the wall. I turn to the wall and use my imagination to return the wall to it's original state.

I then walk out of the storage room into the hallway. At the end of the hallways there are doors, typical... Well.. It's seems that is the way to go because there are two heavily armored guards over there...

I walk towards the heavily-armored guards that are wearing metal full-suits and have longswords in their hand.

"Halt!" (Guard)

"Stop with the Halting! I already got stopped by two bands of guards... If I am already in the keep it means that I have access everywhere!" (Ethos)

"Well... Go on then..." (Guard)

Hahah! It worked! My angry persuasion worked!

I go past the guards and walk through the door just to find the meeting room. At the end of the table is the king due to the crown on his head, next to him is the Queen probably... Next to the Queen is probably the Princess...

And then the lords of the realm... So many lords... Fifteen? I count fifteen lords.

"Who are you?" (King)

"I am Ethos Kuran, Half-elf god." (Ethos)

"What is with the god part?" (Princess)

"It's what my race is... I am god..." (Ethos)

"No way! There is no god setting at the begi-" (Princess)

The princess suddenly shuts up... At the beginning?

"Wait... Is the royal family... Players?!" (Ethos)

"No... We are not part of the Travelers if you are asking that." (King)

"Hmm... So it's only the Princess then..." (Ethos)

I start slowly walking towards the princess and I can see that every lord has their hand on their swords and the king does too.

They really are on edge... Well if a man suddenly barged in and claimed he was god anybody would be on edge or laughing.

"Princess, can I ask you a question in private?" (Ethos)

"No." (Princess)

"Why not?" (Ethos)

"Because you might try something funny!" (Princess)

"Then I'll ask it here... Are you a player and not an NPC?" (Ethos)

The princess seems panicked by my question. Guess my suspicions were right...

"Ah, you don't need to answer. I already got it from your reaction. I am surprised they let a player become part of the royal family..." (Ethos)

"Damn you! I was hoping to keep it a secret that I took over their daughters body! Damn you, Ethos Kuran!" (Princess)

"Hahah! I can easily erase the memories of every NPC here probably. I just need to over-write their data and that will be it." (Ethos)

"You... Can do that?" (Princess)

"Well... I am God and I have Admin rights and I can do anything I want in this world. If I wanted to I could probably just make this world dissapear into thin air but that would be no fun." (Ethos)

"Please make it so their data-memory does not remember that I am actually a player!" (Princess)

Hmm... Wait... Data-memory...

"Oi, princess... Are the lords of the realm and the Royal Family not NPC but... A.I?" (Ethos)

"Yes... They are Artificial Intelligence..." (Princess)

"So my suspicions were correct about A.I! Well... Let me just erase their memories of ever hearing about you being a player." (Ethos)

The lords and the royal family are shocked by our talks and I pull up their data. It's actually quite simple...

There is their family name, age, real name and abilities and so on that I can overwrite and then the most recent memories and data that is being processed. Luckily I learnt about coding when I was in High School and University before I became a life-long Otaku...

And I am not kidding about life-long... I already loved anime and manga and light novels from the age of six when I got my hands on my first manga...

Well... Now back to changing their A.I memories... Just a few codes to delete and a few to mix and a few to change. It's really simple throwing some useless code away like pride. Oops... I shouldn't have thrown out pride... Let me just put the Pride code back in.

After a while of having fun with coding the King and all of the lords here I stop. I changed only their memories but I had a lot of fun searching through their A.I thinking patterns and such. Apparently all of their political and war-related things are connected to the Pride code originally. I severed a few connections between useless things what would've made just more bloodshed and useless NPC deaths happen.

I minimize the coding screen and throw it back up to it's original spot at the top right corner of my sight so it doesn't interfere much.

"Done!" (Ethos)

"What took you so long?" (Princess)

"Sorry... I had fun messing around with code. I'll boot their A.I programming back up now." (Ethos)

With just one click of a button in the Admin console I reboot all the A.I in the room. I quickly check the Event list too...

"Whoa... I am currently messing around with an event..." (Ethos)

"What do you mean, Ethos?" (Princess)

"After this conversation a civil war is supposed to break out due to half of the realm vassals not agreeing to the King going to war with a stronger kingdom." (Ethos)

I ofcourse whispered that to the Princess because I do not wish to mess with this Event a little too much... It seems like a major event in the game that determines the Kingdom's state so yeah...

The King and the other lords wake up and continue their talks without noticing I am here.

I summon a chair for myself and sit next to the Princess. The Princess blushes a little after I sit next to her but then calms down.

"Princess... How did you get to be part of the royal family?" (Ethos)

"Call me Iris and I have connections to the higher-ups of the Globus Online company..." (Iris)

"Connections huh?" (Ethos)

"I have a question for you aswell... How come you have admin rights... Admins usually don't come down to play and stay in their pre-set area looking and managing things..." (Iris)

"Let's just say... I own the VR worlds. I am the Virtual Reality god afterall..." (Ethos)

"Still sticking to that huh? There is no way gods exist..." (Iris)

I pull up my status and show it to her.

"I'm just used to sudden surprises like this..." (Iris)

"Ah... Well... I don't know what else to do now. I mean... I wanted to see what was happening in the keep and it seems I stumbled upon an event..." (Ethos)

"Let's just wait for the event to start. We could become a third faction and grab some land for ourselves..." (Iris)

"And since when did we become a thing?" (Ethos)

"Since now." (Iris)

Iris pulls out a ring and slides it onto my finger. I inspect the ring and it is a ring of engagement... Iris has one aswell...

"Iris... What does this mean?" (Ethos)

"We are now engaged." (Iris)

"So suddenly? I mean... We don't know eachother at all." (Ethos)

"No matter... We have time." (Iris)

Iris closes in and kisses me on the lips and the ring of engagement shines and activates.

A new screen opens up infront of me.

Congratulations!You and Iris Yelai have now been engaged!Live a happy life and love eachother forever![Relationship Tab unlocked]

Iris stops kissing me after the screen pops up and sits back in her chair. The Lords and King and the Queen are staring at us blank-mindedly...

"Huh... Relationship Tab..." (Ethos)

I open up my status.

"Darling... Can you please make it so the lords and kings will accept this.... All of the lords think of me as a tool to get better land and get closer to the king..." (Iris)

"Fine. But afterwards explain your true motives, Iris. You cannot trick me with the love at first sight thing." (Ethos)

I bring up the data and code screen again and start switching codes and data of the A.I's in the room to accept the fact that me and Iris are now engaged.

I made it so everybody thinks of me as a friend but a rival at the same time. It would be too easy to just... Change it so they think of me as the world's most trustworthy being.

I minimize the screen and put it back in it's location and turn to Iris.

"Now... Tell me your true purpouse with the fact that you are now engaged to me." (Ethos)

"Love at first sight... Is the only thing I can say..." (Iris)

"I told you! You cannot trick me with that simple thing." (Ethos)

"But it's true!" (Iris)

I look at Iris in the eye and smiled a little.

"Then you won't mind if we met in reality?" (Ethos)

Not like I can even go to real life...

"Fine! I'll give you my phone number!" (Iris)

"I was kidding! I cannot even go back into reality. I seem to be trapped in the Virtual Reality world right now." (Ethos)

"What do you mean?" (Iris)

"I'll explain later, my love" (Ethos)

Iris blushes a little and I laugh. Seems she was not as prepeared for me as she thought.

"Iris... Don't mind me asking... But do you know somebody by the name of Ethan Maerin?" (Ethos)

"I do know... I was with him in High School... He was my first crush even though he was fat and an otaku... He studied well and actually had a nice personality..." (Iris)

I start laughing a lot! This girl knew me! Iris...

"Is your real name Iris aswell?" (Ethos)

"Yes... It is..." (Iris)

"Then I know you. I am Ethan Maerin... Well I was. I died. Remember the war? I got shot in the face by a tank. It's lucky that you moved to another country a few weeks before the war started." (Ethos)

"Ethan... You can just be a fake right!? There is no way Ethan got this body!" (Iris)

"Body sliders at the Character Creation tab. It let me modify my body to this extent. Also... If you don't believe me, read the list of the dead on the net. I don't know if I am on there but I should be... I'll need to ask the Gods of the Internet if they exist..." (Ethos)

"I'll be right back!" (Iris)

Iris runs off a little bit and I look at her through the minimap and she stops in a room and logs off. I track her through the data and a few minutes later she starts to log back in.

She runs back into the room and runs to my chair crying and falls down onto my lap.

"So I was on the list?" (Ethos)

"You were! But how! How are you here!?" (Iris)

"Let's speak in your room..." (Ethos)

I get up and grab Iris by the hand as she is still crying. We walk for a bit back to the room she logged off in and I let her sit on the bed and I sit on the ground.

"Iris..." (Ethos)

"Ethan... How are you here?" (Iris)

"Call me Ethos now. And I don't know... I got shot in the face and then I heard the [Globe] log on sound and created a new character... I also met a goddess and The Creator of the universe apparently helped me reincarnate into the Virtual World as a god... Don't tell this to anybody. It would be bad if people would start thinking of you as a weirdo... You were the most popular girl in our class and I am sure you still have quite a few boys running after you now..." (Ethos)

"I actually have a boyfriend... But now I want to leave him just to spend more time with you... He was in the room while I was franticaly searching through the dead list on the internet and when I started crying he came closer to me... I dropped the phone when I was focused on your name and logged back in..." (Iris)

"Don't leave your boyfriend because of me. I am stuck in this world. I cannot help you at all in the real world... Well I can actually. I can make a few deals with the company to ensure your safety and I could probably create a lot of things in this world to attract people to get money for you." (Ethos)

"But..." (Iris)

"No buts. Don't leave somebody you love currently for a dead man you used to love." (Ethos)

"But Ethos... I don't even love him... He forced himself on me... I cannot do anything against him because of his friends and connections to the dark side of the world..." (Iris)

"Let me help you with that then. I can make the Globus Online company come and pick you up and ensure your safety away from the boy. Do you want my assistance, Iris?" (Ethos)

Iris starts crying a lot and jumps off the bed and headbuts me in the chest and holds onto me tightly.

"Save me Ethos... He won't even allow me to properly leave the house without guards.. And those guards are thugs... His father is a crime lord... He only started to fancy me after he found out about my weaknesses... Save me..." (Iris)

"Let me contact Jil and the others. Tell me your location... They will be there shortly probably." (Ethos)

Iris tells me her location and it is close to the Headquarters of the Globus Online company that I have full control over now.

I pull up the Servers Code and I notice that they have already prepeared a screen for me to type into so they can see what I want to say to them.

"Jil, other people in Globus Online Company... I have a friend that needs saving. She is at this address. Go find her and save her from a crime lord. I will do one thing in this world that will trigger a major event that will bring a lot more fame into this game to get more money. I will also do one thing that you want me to do if you don't want me to trigger a major event." (Screen, Ethos)

I send the message over and notice that Jil is logging on and I send her a message of our location. She notifies me that she will soon be at Iris's room.

We wait for a bit and Iris is crying while she is using my lap as a pillow. I guess that boyfriend must be really surpressing her with blackmail or something or just brute force.

I notice on the mini-map that Jil is already infront of the door and she opens the door and sees me patting Iris while she is crying on my lap.

"What is going on here!?" (Jil)

"I'm just helping Iris. Did you get my notification?" (Ethos)

"All of us in the office got your message. We already sent some of our guards and a few cars there. Even some elite guards... Iris, you should log off soon. They should get to your house in a few minutes." (Jil)

"Ok..." (Iris)

Iris gets up and logs off while still crying.

"Now... Ethos... We want you to create a Major Event. Not your event but ours..." (Jil)

"Name it." (Ethos)

"We want you... To create the City of Atlantis..." (Jil)

"What the hell is with that request!? It's so simple! I can just raise a ruin-city from the seas... There seem to be plenty of them for treasure-seeking." (Ethos)

"But there also needs to be a new option to become an Atlantian! We cannot do anything as admins now except if you allow us..." (Jil)

"I'll just rewrite some code. It'll be easy for a person that learned a lot of coding in High School and University..." (Ethos)

"Thanks Ethos! Us at the company will be waiting for your major event! The Rising of the Ancient City!" (Jil)

Such an easy request and they think that is better than the Raining Hell event I had planned...

Well no matter... I'll just teleport myself to the Ocean area South of here.

I use some codng to change my current character location to the Ocean area and I defy gravity using the All-Powerful ability and stay up in the air.

I start changing a lot of code that generated random treasure and keeps the city below water constantly even if somebody tries to pull it up.

I start re-creating the city of Atlantis and start coding a new Event next to it.

It takes me three hours to fully code an event and re-code the entire Atlantis City and it's functions...

Luckily I have the power of God on my side!

"And BEGIN!" (Ethos)

I press the 'finish' button on the screens and the Event begins and the City of Atlantis starts surfacing.

Now just to wait for Jil and the others to come here...
