When the world was first created, the first creatures that emerged were the elder dragons. They had absorbed pure mana

from the earth during its formation. They didn't need to eat as a result of the mana in their bodies and as another side

effect, were invulnerable to most things. At this time, the world was nothing but a wasteland full of wandering elders.

They discovered that they could have offspring and the second generation was born. Although it was possible to have

offspring, the fertilization rate was extremely low. The offspring were unlike their parents and needed sustenance to survive

but at the same time, the mana in their bodies kept them going. They lived long and agonizing lives for thousands of years

until they died, always feeling hunger and their bodies self canabalizing them. The first elder to die was a second

generation onewhose body had finally run out of mana. After a while, his siblings saw that things were growing from the

ground beneath his body. They ate the first plants and although it tasted bad, it nourished them a little. But the food was

soon gone and they formed a plan, what would happen if a first generation elder died? This lead to the first murder, the

second generation had learned that in order to survive, the first generation needed to die.

Eventually, all the first-generation elders died out and the earth was teeming in life from returning their energy to the

earth. The second-generation elders enjoyed great prosperity for a long time.They had a higher fertilization rate and the

earth was covered with the elders after several hundreds of thousands of years. This golden age couldn’t last and soon war

would break out. The second generation had grown large massive bodies after enjoying the nourishment that their

forefathers gave them. Resources were beginning to become scarce and the third generation decided to make their

move. They knew that one day their children might kill them as well, so the second generation prepared for it.

The great war broke out and the race was decimated.In the end only a few elders of both generations survived and they

went in to hiding in order to recuperate after the war. During this time, the earth was renewed again from the dead. The first

signs of intelligent life aside from the elders emerged. The other races enjoyed a time where they grew and prospered until

the elders came again. They emerged from the earth and destroyed all that opposed them. This started a dark age for the

earth that would last for a large portion of recorded history. The remaining elders numbered in the hundreds and became

warlords/kings. The most powerful ones would control a continent and their generals would govern certain parts of the

land.

Over time, a resistance had begun to build up. Their offspring were not supportive of enslaving the other races after

thousands of years and joined with the humans. This gave the rebels the edge they needed. But the war didn’t start until a

human managed to kill an elder who was a king. The races came together to fight back against their oppressors. The fourth

generation offspring and the dragons joined them in the fight. The dragons were genetic mutations from elder dragons that

were weaker and scorned. Eventually, the warlords were all defeated and were mostly removed from the earth. The

remaining offspring decided to exclude themselves from the world’s affairs and made a deal with the remaining races to be

left alone.T hey all relocated to a large island in order to live out their days.This ended when a child was kidnapped from

the island and the elders were angered. The humans didn’t bring the child back, so the elders started to raze cities and

countries until she was found.But one day, they all disappeared along with the island and the world was finally free of the

elders . . .

Characters

Gaia

Only female child of her parents' offspring. When she hatched, they thought she was a wind elder since her scales were

green not dark like theirs. She also the ability to manipulate the earth and the plant life around her. This made her the only

known elder that was born with the ability to use magic. At a young age she was kidnapped from the island and woke up in

cave around a thousand years later. Ever since then, she has done everything for her goal of returning home.
