Another man that look like a merchant approaching us from a road with that shallow river.
[Heyy!! Yeah! Are you also going to Dasi?] Andreas
[I hope not. But I need to pass it to go to Romora town.] Merchant
Hmm.. So after Dasi village is this Romora town?
[Ohh. Lucky.. Look like we have a mercenarie in our grup. But are you though? I don't see your weapon and your armor is too lax.] Merchant
For reference, I only use a white clothe and this rugged trouser. But compared to this two man, I do have quite a better build and taller body, so maybe that's why he immediately thought that I'm a mercenaries.
[Umm.. Indeed I'm. My name's Dean, nice to meet you.] me
[And I'm Andreas, a bard.] Andreas
[My name's is Val, a merchant. Nice to meet you.] Val
Is it a custom here to include your occupation when introducing your self?
[By the way, he's a magician val and seem to be not that long he became a mercenaries. That's why he doesn't have an armor yet.] Andreas
Wait? Why did you covering me here?
Oh well. I guest it's better to just repeat that embarrassing alibi every time I meet someone.
[Ohh I understand. It's rare to find a magician mercenaries going solo, so i suggest you find a party on the next town Dean.] Val
[Thank you for your concern.] Me
[So have you been waiting long? There isn't much people using this road.
What do you both suggest? We already have a mercenaries in our side and I get an info that it isn't a really a bandit that waiting there.] Val
[Hmm. You might be right. I think it's also safer to proceed now rather than waiting any longer and end up going in dark. What do you thing Dean?] Andreas

[I don't really mind. But how about the attacker?] Dean
[If it's not bandit then it probably a wild animal like bear or something. With a surprise from magic, I think we can deter it.] Andreas
Hmm. But my magic is just a copper and lead going super fast though.
Also this is only sub-sonic round that I got here. It's not like it won't penetrate a bear hide, but don't think it have enough stopping power to stop a charging bear. I also think it's actually better to shoot the air and scare it with the sound rather than making it more angry.
Yosh. Let's just go with that or in the last resort I'll try to hit the head even though it'll tough.
I summon my holster using my drawstring bag. I'll summon my 1911 via my holster later to not cause commotion.
[Okay then, I'm ready.] Me
[[Yosh. Let's go!]]

Anti-Hero: Journey of Fear
There is a story where the hero makes friends, completes quests, and saves the world. This is NOT that story. In the VR world of Fate: Experience Acute Realism, the main character cuts his way through both the players and NPCs alike. This story takes a close look at how a true full immersion VR would be played. The setting is an open VR world where the players struggle to survive with a lack of knowledge and the NPCs panic in regards to the Travelers invading their world. The anti-hero of this story is cold and calculating. Sparing no one from his reign of terror he gives into occasional bouts of kindness before he is forced back on the path of blood and tears. For where there is a hero who seeks to bring people together to help the world move forward, there is an anti-hero who brings people together to seize the world for himself. WARNING: This story contains extreme violence, in every single chapter. This story contains references to sex, but no explicit scenes. This story has light to mild swearing. My chapters normally range from 4,000 to 5,000 words. This story does not contain happy endings, middles, or even beginnings.

Stormy clouds hover over the Wild Lands. The Raiders of the North Sea, in the name of the Spirits of the Deep, ravage the misty shores. The Empire of the Holy Flame’s serfs hide in the fiefs of Fire Knights and guard themselves against the Dark Spirits that roam the wilds. The Caliph in the East, leading his Holy Army, heads towards the hopeless Heaven's Shrine. There, the beleaguered monks listen as the Voice of the Wind predicts the coming of a saviour. The saviour who will teach harmony to a world that has forgotten peace. This savior is the Avatar, the ancient embodiment of balance: the one who wields the Four Elements to establish unity among the Four Nations, as well as between humankind and spirits. 8 79Apocalypse? Paradise.
It's was a little cloudy on that spring morning. The day the world ended and the apocalypse started for humanity causing 80% of the population to turn into bloodthirsty deranged husks of their former selves, preying upon the remaining fifth of the population trying to survive. As for those different from the society at large? Who don't fit in with the societal rules? Who we called monsters even before the apocalypse? The broken creatures who wore human masks even before the day the world ended, now crawling out from the darkest dephts of the society to unveil themselves. Did they too witness the end of the world, or the creation of paradise? Cover from pixabay. https://pixabay.com/photo-2935144/
