Glenn ran faster, faster than he has ran in weeks. The bout he had with the Reeves brothers, and that ridiculous looking magician has taken up his time. He meandered around the buildings, keeping low to the shadows as he passed by a few guardsmen; he can’t afford to waste anymore of his time, toying with other humans for now.

He followed the path of destroyed buildings, smiling while thinking about the destruction that the great beast has done. He eventually found Dominus Bestia, lying on the ground, head fried and smoking. Luckily for Glenn, the guardsmen are busy tending to the wounded and doing a head count elsewhere.

Glenn crept up towards the body, and looked around. He smiled brighter as he breathed in the air of this fallen ancient creature, knowing that he didn’t have to strain himself to kill this beast. He even pondered if he has the energy or time to kill it off himself.

Glenn moved towards the beast’s obliterated head, and fetched out his rough cut onyx out from his pouch. He closed his eyes and muttered a few words in the ancient language. He pointed the gem towards the beast, and sensed the essence of Dominus Bestia’s soul and focused to beckon it into his gem. The process took a minute to do, because Dominus Bestia knew what Glenn was trying to do so he had no choice but to put up a fight.

Glenn, however have done this charade before. He cackled the entire time, Dominus Bestia had never before felt this vulnerable, since the Leviticus family sealed him.

“Welcome home, old one. Soon you will be fed as a great power source to some sort of… God… After that… Well heheh… You’ll soon find out my new found friend.” Glenn gloated as he tossed the gem up in the air and caught it with his other hand without even looking.

He hid the gem in his pouch, and reached around for another pouch and brandished a red orb.

“And for the big finale, this one will do all kinds of wonders that will bring much despair to the people in this town, for weeks… Heheh.” Glenn said as he hid it in the same pouch again.

He immediately bolted off, towards the north east of town, unfortunately, he may have to wait it out a bit, he spotted a few civilians and guardsmen moving around, looking for other survivors.

He felt irritated and weary, but the thought of his final act of chaos and destruction brought joy to him at this very moment. All he has to do is get the great Allan Bridge, do his final deed and then rendezvous with Karr once again. Then they will be off, to their original hideout and plot the next chaos that will come for their future gains. Glenn grinned as he waited.
