《New Escape》New Escape Chapter Sixty Two

"While you are picking out clothes you might wish to get some as well, respected customer Corvus." Emanuel shoots a skeptical glance towards my robe. What's wrong with it? I was about to ask before looking down.
My previously silky white robe is now covered with various holes. There are also various streaks of dirt and a few burn marks. The scratches are fine as they could be resewn, and the dirt is fine as the robe can be washed, but burns destroy the fabric entirely.
"Ha-ha, yeah I guess I'll need to." I let out some strained laughter.
Emanuel leads the way down the stairs. The walls along the stairs are made of stone bricks, but the door at the end is made of a rather poor quality wood. I begin to question this, but Emanuel begins a short incantation which releases some sort of spell on the door. After the spell is released the door looks like it would belong to an armory.
After a second Emanuel pulls the heavy iron door open revealing the impossible interior. The sheer size of the warehouse makes it an impossibility for the area it's located in. This would surprise me if I wasn't in possession of a magical tower floating in a micro dimension.
I follow Emanuel and Gabriel into the "underground" warehouse. It's impossible to tell the scale of the building by eye due to poor lighting. Rather than strolling the aisles aimlessly Emanuel pulls out a very large book.
"Place your hand on the top. The book will sense your needs and wants before finding an appropriate item." Emanuel presents the large tome to Gabriel first.
Gabriel places their hand on the empty circle on the front. A few pages begin to light up within the tome. Emanuel opens to the first page, muttering some sort of incantation before turning to the next. While this process continues a number of box begin hovering towards our group of three from the depths of the warehouse.

After Gabriel finishes obtaining their orders it was my turn. I simply place my left hand on the circle on the center of the book. A strange pulse of energy enters through my hand spreading to my mind and soul retrieving thoughts of what I want and their requirements from each place respectively.
"Emanuel, this is a rather interesting book." I state this in amazement. I don't recall ever seeing such a thing in the beginning world, but then again I didn't do much there. I begin to reflect on my experiences so far as Emanuel gathers various boxes.

Initially I had Malek to guide me through the use of my abilities, this was quite helpful. Malek was rather enigmatic, but now that I think about it he was most likely in the saint tier. I hadn't noticed it before because I had never met a saint, but now I have met three: Tarin the shaman, who could harness the souls of the dead to enhance his body, Sheeron the "soul binder", who attacked Maddy and I after she killed his apprentice, and Gabriel the Blade Saint, who I just met recently. These three opened up my understanding of the saint tier, but due to my lack of ability right now I still don't clearly know the absolute strength of a saint. If Malek was a saint it would explain how he assisted me in awakening my spiritual power.
He taught me how to summon beings of nature, but ever since I arrived here in the demon realm I have been unable to. Previously summoning them was like opening a door, but now the door is clearly locked. I have also been unable to transfer back to Heaven's Workshop. I'm not entirely sure why, but it seems opening any sort of dimensional gate here is much more difficult.

I have yet to find any player here, or at least none that I know of. Players seem to blend in well with NPCs here, so I can't be entirely sure that there aren't players here. The way I got here was extremely obscure, but I can't be sure no one started in the demon realm depending on what race they chose.
My friends Maddy and Dylan are both separated from me, but then again Dylan did get arrested for his misdeeds. It's also nigh impossible to get Maddy to respond to a text message, and we no longer have classes together since summer began, so who knows when I will run into her again.
I've also got the quest to deal with the Crestfallen, but that quest was, and still is, beyond me. My current goal should be to survive within, and then leave, the demon realm. This was previously easier said than done, but now it may become easier with the help of Gabriel. Of course there is no telling whether they will help me return or not.
There first step is to properly grind experience. I haven't gotten to do this much being thrust from one adventure to the next.
I also need to investigate this blood seal, it is much more convenient than my nature manipulation right now, but it's really ominous in that I can replenish it with the blood of others. Well that is it's benefit as well.
---
"Corvus! Corvus!" I am shaken awake by Gabriel.
"Ah! Sorry, I was deep in thought." I scratch the back of my head in embarrassment.
"Well I'd say, you were staring rather intently at nothing. Emanuel has your stuff." Gabriel gestures towards Emanuel to hand me my clothes.
"Thank you." I accept the pile of clothing from Emanuel. Wait now that I think about it "Will I need to pay for this?" I ask worriedly.
"That shouldn't be a problem respected customer, if you cannot pay you can just work off the debt." Emanuel initially calms me down, but then he says I need to work! It only makes sense though, such a large amount of stuff shouldn't come free.
"How will I be working it off?" I ask timidly.
"Well that is..."
