Pov Ragna

As time went by my body grew even stronger and i was able and i became a 1 year old.

I am able to talk now but i don't talk as much as Mihr.

Next month Amon finally comes of age and 3 more years for Mihr until she comes of age.

I am still unsure of when i will come of age since Terra was age forced to. And because of that it would be hard to understand when i come of age.

During the mean time i have been trying to move my body around more so i can have better control of it. And i have been hearing a dinging noise every once in a while.

It was getting annoying so i decided to try and ask Terra what it was. She was more similar to me than the others so it might have happened to her just like it has happening to me right now.

I wandered around the house in order to find her.

After mother changed the doors in the house it was harder to get into a room than before so it would take longer than it used to.

I still got around without problems. Still searching for Terra, she wasn't in my parents room so i checked the outside from the window and she wasn't out there either.

I continued to look for her and heard a ding for the first time today.

Looking around and listening for her i continued to look for her but after that ding it felt easier to follow anything with my senses. It felt like i was a Hunter.

Following Terra scent it lead me to a part of the house i hadn't been to before and for some reason it seemed like it was turning my attention away from it.

Now that i think about it mother will appear and mom would disappear. And i haven't seen Terra today.

Going back to the window i see Ovoss teaching Amon and Mihr is learning what she can from mother too.

Mom is still not around either?

I start to pick up on both mom's and Terra's scent, and i was lead right back to the place where i was just at.

The ding sound went off again in the back of my head. I was getting better to deal with the dinging noises now that i was getting used to it. It was just like a background noise so it doesn't bother me as much as it used too.

I walked through the unknown part of the house and felt repulsed as i walked forward. After getting a few feet forward the feeling was even stronger.

As soon as i reached the hallway point of the hallway i heard a ding.

I stopped and gave myself a moment to breath.

Pushing myself i took one step forward and i felt a sense of dread so bad i felt as if my heart was going to give out.

I couldn't move a muscle the feeling of dread was too much i felt as if i couldn't do anything and would be stuck like this for the reat of my life.

Time moved slowly as this dread was washing over my.

I wouldn't fail because of something like this forced myself to take a step forward. Ding Ding.

Two dings went off and the feeling of dread lessened and it was easier to breathe.

My head started to ache so i pulled my self back and went back towards the area where mother and the others were at.

After i exited the unexplored area of the house everything was fine i no longer felt anything.

I decided to go there again after a while because i was getting used to what it was doing to me.

I had a feeling that it would be useful to continue doing this in the future, whenever i had a chance to.

But for today i should stop so mother doesn't get worried.

I walked to the door that led to the back of the house where mother was teaching Amon and Mihr.

The door was cracked open for me so i could enter or exit whenever i wanted to move around.

They all trusted me not to leave through the front door or leave the area surrounding the house.

I pushed open the door and walked to the area where mother was.

Mother was standing there giving my siblings a demonstration or her magical prowess and sword skills.

Black blood red fire dance around the sword she was using. I had seen mom's Lightning Magic dance around in the sky freely without restraints.

Mother's sword covered in those dark flames burned the space in the air. The heat and skill of her swings tore apart the very fabric of space. The holes she opened took a while to close from the sheer might of her power.

Looking into the holes i felt as if something was inside watching me. It stared directly at me without looking away from me. I didn't feel anything bad from it instead i felt as if i was reunited with and old friend. I smiled as i stared back at this unknown being before me.

I felt the connection strengthen between us. I lifted my arm pointing my hand at it and it lifted a claw towards me.

As we both locked eyes on each other. I felt something leave my body and saw something leave it's claw and. This was something i that felt i had to do, as if it was the right thing to do.

The strange energy went passed each others. Mine hit it and his hit mine in my chest. Ding ding.

Mother turned to see this and rushed at the mysterious being. But she was far to late to stop the both of us.

A bright light blinded everyone who was up here and after a minute of the blinding light faded.

Mother ran to me and when her eyes adjust to the normal light she saw that there was a small creature that looked to be an mix of an serpentine and dragon with ghostly midnight blue features. It was as small as an new born baby.

I pick up the small creature in my arms and hug it.

"Damn it what in the fuck was that. What did you just do Ragna? Who was that?"-Ovoss her body started to relax after seeing that i was okay.

Not knowing what mother was talking about i tilted my head while cuddling this small creature.

"Don't know. But friend, not hurt me. See"-Ragna i lifted up my arms to show mother the baby creature.

Holding the side of her head mother look extremely worried. "Why didn't you say anything when that thing appeared in the hole i made?"-Ovoss

"Mother might stop friend."-Ragna

The small creature snuggled closer to me. Like it was seeking my body's warmth.

Amon and Mihr was confused they didn't know what had just happened and were to stunned to move or talk.

As mother was talking mom and Terra kicked the door open and ran towards us. Both were ready to kill anything that would harm us.

"What happened the whole barrier around the house shook and i felt a powerful entity had tried to do something but I'm not sure what."-Azriel fear covered mom as she looked around nervously for any signs of intruders.

Terra was more relaxed than mom but still in shock that mom's barrier was shook like that because not alot of beings are powerful enough to do something like that. "What happened Ovoss why did the barrier almost break."-Terra

"It happened when i was teaching the kids about how i use my sword and magic at the same time. I had ripped a small hole in space and thought it would close and ignored it and continued to teach them. But after a minute or two i turned around to see Ragna with his hand up giving his mana to that thing and it did the same with it's claw. I rushed to stop it only to see a blinding bright light and when ir faded the hole was closed and it was only them two left."-Ovoss scratching her head while trying to hide her frustration.

Mom walk over and look at me and then asked Terra to check and see if anything bad happened to me.

Terra looked at me and the small creature and then that weird feeling of being stared directly at my soul happened again and as she did that i heard a ding.

"Damn he's only a year old and already has a couple of skills. Fuck me he even has a title."-Terra

"What does it say? Come on and say it already."-Ovoss

"Blessing of the Void God Monster. The description reads. He who gains the attention of the oldest and first monster God. Will be watched over as the first of the Void. And you are granted a Void monster partner who shares both of are bloods you will grow stronger together. "-Terra as she read what was there her face became pale.

"Gaining the blessing of the First monster God is really quite scary and he gave you that much power plus a creature of his blood. I don't know what to say."-Azriel began to strengthen her barriers even more because of this.

"Damn i didn't receive a blessing until i was atleast 28 years old. And you got one for an greater God. Terra can i ask you to help us with taking care of Ragna a little bit longer than we asked you too."-Ovoss

While they were like that i thought up a name for this cross breed of a ghost dragon which had a midnight blue flame coming from it.

"Your name, Oroborus."-Ragna it felt like the right thing to name the small cross breed.

Oroborus shined for a second before returning to normal.

"You even named him after an immortal Dragon. I don't even know what to do with you now."-Ovoss mother giant sword disappeared as it went up in flames.

"What is wrong? Did i do anything wrong."-Ragna after what just happened it was easier to talk now than it was to before.

"Nothing is wrong it's just that an ancient monster God blesses you and you name your companion after one of your ancestors who are still alive from your mother's side. Amd he is the only one who will have anything to do with us after getting married."-Azriel

"It's just that because you have my blood through your veins, that you also have his blood too, even through you have less than me. Because his blood, that he unknowingly influences his descendents with his blood. It's not a bad thing it's just that we are supposed to learn for ourselves and grow but because of his power the descendents grow towards him without realizing it and some lose their selves once they reach a point were they aren't influenced anymore."-Ovoss

"Okay i will try not to let it take over."-Ragna

"And since this little guy has your blood and the monster God's too. He is yours so you will take care of it."-Azriel

"What gender does it have?"-Ovoss

"Let me check. Hm it says it's a boy. But might change depending on the evolution it might have in the future. It's race is called Ghostly Void Serpent Dragon Baby"-Terra

"So it skipped egg phase and went to the baby phase probably because you are still to young to protect it so the monster God made it a baby instead."-Ovoss

I remember a talk like this a month ago when mother was talking about how Dragons reproduce.

Oroborus wriggled in my arms trying to get in a more comfortable position. He layed in my arms breathing softly while purring like vibrations came off him.

Amon and Mihr came over after the adults settled down.

After the two of them saw Oroborus in my arms Mihr went crazy trying to pet him and Amon just stared at the new addition to the family and just went back to training.

"Can i pet him please, pretty please can i, can i please."-Mihr hopping up and down and vigorously try to pet Oroborus.

"Sure, but gently."-Ragna nodding as i gave my okay to her.

Mihr didn't even respond to me and reached her hand forward to the sleeping Oroborus without hesitation.

As her hand was about to touch him, Oroborus eye's shot open and he bit her hand.

Yanking her hand back Mihr screamed. "Ow why did you bite me. You both are meanies."-Mihr ran off to the garden where the fairys and went to play over there by herself.

"No bitting Oroborus that's not good."-Ragna i tried to scold him but Oroborus just tilted his head as if he didn't understand why he couldn't bite her.

"She's my sister no bitting anyone unless they try to hurt you or me. Or if i say otherwise."-Ragna

Oroborus understood what i was saying that time and nodded his head while laying back down in my arms to go back to sleep.

Amon still practicing his magic without a care for anything happening. Mother went to help Amon with his practice to take her mind off things and give her some time to think.

Mihr was still mad at Oroborus for bitting her so mom went to calm her down.

And i was left with Terra who i had been searching for earlier before my friend showed up.

I try to remember why i was searching for her in the first place. I felt Terra doing that thing again and i had heard another ding, then i remembered what i wanted to adk her.

"Hey Terra what are the dinging sounds i hear?"-Ragna turning my head up towards her face and locked eyes with her.

"The dinging sound is an indication that tells you whenever you have leveled up, a skill has gone up in a level or you have just acquired a new skill, and that you have gained a new title. There are some other thing that can trigger the notification but not everything is know about this process besides the Great God of Power. Since it was him who created this for the all life so everyone and every monster has a chance to become powerful."-Terra

I see, not everything is known about the Great God of Power so we don't know everything about how this system that the Great God created works completely we only know about the parts which affects us.

I had gotten my answers i was looking. But i didn't start training until a couple of months later after this incident accrued nothing really noteworthy happened except for me going back to that area of the house to practice my mental strength and to strengthen my will power against the dreadful feeling in the middle of the hallway.
