《WTF WORLD》Chapter 1: God's little brother?

Inside the mall a group of students just got out of the movie theater, the group of students was part of the school field trip that watched a live historical play of their country. A boy named Maron was trying to flirt with one of the attendants of the cinema when the teacher called out on him.
"Maron, let's go" Mrs. White shouted.
"I'll be there in a minute Mrs. White" Maron raised his voice without turning his head away from the girl, when suddenly a hand squeezed his ear so hard, he couldn't help but groan out loud. He was dragged by Mrs. White and thrown back to the group, after that he held his right ear and grumbled under his breath.
Over a few minutes he was already okay and started to fool around with his classmates, he was obnoxiously loud and didn't care at the shouting Mrs. White in front, instead he raised his voice and laughed louder.
The group is now crossing a pedestrian lane, all of a sudden, a guy bumped into his left arm and caused Maron to stagger. Afterwards he felt something missing in his pockets and immediately turned around to find it. Maron found his phone at the ground, he crouched and tried to pick it up while everyone on his surrounding was vaguely shouting something to him.
He stood up to be able to hear what they were saying clearly, he heard "Watch ou-" everyone was panicking but he didn't know what they meant. When all of a sudden, an approaching loud horn could be heard from his left side, when he looked at his left, he saw a truck coming to him afterwards his vison went black.
Maron opened his eyes, and needed some time to adjust because of the brightness of this place. The place he was in was a white expanse, he squinted his eyes to try to see, however all he could see was white.

'What the fuck is this place' he thought.
"Hello!" Maron shouted. "Is anybody here?"
"Hello Maron"
Maron was startled by the sudden voice that came out of nowhere, he was slowly getting frightened, he was afraid of ghost.
"Who are you?" Maron shouted. "Where am I? What is this place? Why am I here?" he continuously asked.
"I'm the little brother of you God" the voice said. "This place is only an endless expanse. You're here because you're dead."
Maron slowly remembered everything that happened to him, he was hit by a truck and he was now dead. He broke down and fell to his butt, afterwards he just sat there lifeless and staring into space. Maron didn't move, he didn't say anything either, he was just sitting there embracing his knees.
"Is this hell?" Maron asked spiritless. He didn't bother asking if it was heaven because with the way he lived he knew damn well that he wouldn't be able to go there.
"No" The voice said.
'Why does this voice feel like it's close?' Maron thought, when suddenly an old man walked by to his side, that caused him to jumped up and raise his fists.
"What are you doing?" the old man said, he sounded exactly the same as the voice. It took seconds for Maron to realize that the voice he was talking to was this old man.
"Nothing" Maron said as he slowly lowered his hands. "You said this is not hell, then what is this place?"
"I already told you an endless expanse." the old man said. "You're here because I chose you"
"What!?" Maron shouted. "You chose me? Why? I was still so young I still had a lot of things to do. This is so unfair" Maron hopelessly said.
"I think you misunderstood what I said." the old man said. "You're here because chose the people that would die on the day that you died."

Maron couldn't respond, he slowly drooped down on the ground again.
"Don't be despaired child" the old man said. "In fact, you should rejoice because you're here to be reincarnated. If not for me you would've been sent straight to hell"
Maron jolted at what the old man said, he was here because of a chance of reincarnation.
"I want you to think of one item that you want to have to your new world" the old man said.
"What? Why?" Maron curiously asked.
"Because the world you'll be in is a magical and dangerous one" the old man said. "I don't want you dying the moment you get there"
"Just 1 item?" Maron asked. "Can't I have like two?"
"No" the old man firmly said. "You can only have one."
"Okay" Maron said. "Can you let me think for a while, I feel like I need something extraordinary"
Maron pondered for a while, he thought about different things, he even tried to remember everything the old man said earlier to find something like an advantage.
"Can I ask you questions God?" Maron asked. "Earlier you said the day I died, does that mean I'm not the only one?"
"Yes" the old man said casually.
"Who are they?" Maron asked, hoping to know their names.
"I cannot tell you" the old man said.
"How many are there?" Maron asked again.
"I cannot tell you" the old man said firmly.
"What kind of world is it?" Maron asked changing the topic question. "Why are you giving me a chance for reincarnation?"
"It's the first world that I have created?" the old man responded. "You will know what you need to do when you get there"
"The first world you created?" Maron thinked for a while. "So you want me to go there and spread humanity?" he joked, which only got a poker face for a reply.
"Hurry up and think of an item" the old man urged.
"God what is an item for you?" Maron asked curiously.
"Anything that is not a living thing is an item, is it not?" the old man replied.
"So that's what an item is" Maron said. "What about wings?"
"Yes, it's an item" the old man replied casually.
"What kind of wing is it?" Maron asked.
"What kind of wing would you like?" the old man said.
"What about angel wings?" Maron replied.
"That's alright" the old man said.
"Okay then" Maron said now realizing what item he wants. "I want an Infinite Ammo Machine Gun"
"Wha-!?" the old man shouted it was the first time he changed his expression. Afterwards he calmed
down and said. "If that's what you really want. I will transport you now."
The old man weaved his arms and chanted something, Maron was suddenly illuminated by a white light and slowly his consciousness vanished.
