I woke up to find himself surrounded by darkness.
"Anyone here?" I called to my squad.
"Lock and Loadin" Gadri exclaims.
"My radar scans tell me the relative position of you guys, though there is no depth perception since its a low ranking skill." Universe said.
"This darkness is..... unsettling" Ciara muttered.
"Drones 1 and 2 deploy" Antony hooted and two lights popped up,
"To dark to see anything, where are you guys, where is everyone? Please dont leave me, DONT LEAVE ME, HELP ME, HELP ME" Nima cried, the sound of feet running was heard.
"Nima come back, I can't track you if your away from the group" Universe exclaims but it was to late, she ran off.
"Who knew, Nima had this type of weakness" Antony chortles.
"Nima does sleep with the lamp on, though it never bothered me" Gadri said simply.
"Perk up guys, we got hostiles" Universe announces. "Five passages, each of us take a side, Hostile forces coming from the tunnels of Gadri and Ciara, blast them"
Ciara and Gadri both raised their guns and started to fire them repeatedly.
"Watch your six, I picked up a hostile that passed us for a time now"
"I got it, Drones cover this entrance" and Antony moved to the center of the cave.
I stared down the darkness of the tunnel when Universe exclaims "Hostiles, 1 for Antony, and 3 for Beo, light them up"
I fired my weapon down the center of the cave before taking burst-fires to the side. A shadow ape roared and charged forward, a companion close behind him. I managed to shoot the first one down but the other ape used his dead comrade as a shield and got close to me.
I used my enhancements in accuracy to pinpoint snipe major arteries in the ape, making him collapse from blood loss.

Antony on the other hand had to dive away when he couldn't pierce the Iron Rhino's tough exterior.
The rhino crushed one of Antony's drones underfoot, while the other one released a torrent of fire,
Ciara was pushed back by the onslaught of Lumbering Decay Spawn, Gadri was still at his post, firing rapidly out of his railgun. He was plowed back by an Iron Rhino when he ran out of ammo.
"Running on empty" Ciara exclaimed , Throwing her weapons aside and pulled out a combat knife, she carefully assaulted the Spawns, making sure they never grasped her.
After a bit, the onslaught of monsters died down.
A status window popped up.

"Hostiles in waves, coming from all sides" Universe said, "Fire at will"
I continued to fire into the darkness, as more and more enemeis started to show up

When the news started reporting strange changes of mankind, though the information was obviously controlled, it was enough to create commotion around the world. At first, it was only the subtle change of hair color, though it was strange, everyone accepted such a small change, some embraced it, some dyed their hair into normal colors. Afterwards, videos of people doing impossible feats surfaced onto the media, men lifting cars, women crushing walls, children jumping up to the second story of buildings easily. Then, humans started growing beast like appendages and features, horns and tails sprouted, though abnormally small, it was growing, regardless of the age or gender of the affected human. Despite the countless funds supplied into researching why, or how, did these features come to be, it proved to be fruitless. As those features grew, it became more defined, wings capable of carrying humans into the skies appeared, tails controlled by humans emotions sprouted to a certain length, and stopped growing. And on the last day, known as the beginning of the Monster Apocalypse, mankind grew wild.
