Was it creepy to watch someone sleep? On a scale one to ten, how creepy was it? When you have nothing better to do, could it be defined as creepy-stalkerish? Or just slightly romantic? Maybe a hint of adorableness?
I mean watching her eyes crack open then closed as she adjusted her position. It wasn't stalkers, right? She couldn't necessarily see me because it was dark since they placed a blanket up over the cell door. None of that dawn light spilling through the skyline. It was just me and her heartbeat to keep me company.
"Stop staring at me." Riley said through a yawn.
I didn't stop.
Her hands patted the bed side table, sweeping her phone off its feet, and bringing it back to her. She squinted into the light, sighing as she realized it was just thirty minutes from seven.
"I'm going back to sleep." She murmured.
I just laid on my side watching her shoulders rise and fall. There was nothing on my mind except a series of silent thoughts. I didn't even feel like playing with my new ability. There was no way, I was falling back to sleep though. I felt like a car battery getting juiced. There was no way I could settle for sleep.
"I can feel you staring at me." She whispered as she turned over and stared right into my eyes.
Riley stretched, rubbed her eyes, and then hooked her arms around my neck.
"Why are you awake so early?" She tossed me a question that had no answer.
I shrugged and danced in for a kiss. My naughty hands swept down her waist to grab a handful of that lush ass.
"No idea." I responded after she broke off the kiss.
"I see. Then why didn't you get up instead of burning a hole through my neck?"
"Too lazy."
"Oh. So you planned to drag me down as well."
"Of course. It takes two to tango."
"You are right but I kindly remember someone still in the dog house."
My heart stop beating for a second and I could keenly feel the loss of love.
"Come on. I was just educating them on possible future implications. You saw how they brought absolutely nothing but themselves to me. This was a kindness."
"I hear you. I hear you but still grounded." She yawned and removed her arms. "Okay, get out of bed. I want four more hours of sleep."
Sighing, I raised up over her and stole another kiss. Eventually getting out of bed when all I got was a cheek and neck. I slipped on joggers and black tank top. Eased my way out of the cell.
It was a little surprising to find people up and sitting around a TV like a crowd of kids watching cartoons. I made my way down from the second floor to the first to see what grabbed their attention.
The old man eyed me and made his way over. "The government finally made a move but I think your suspicions were right." He waved at the TV where you could see a live battle between two groups.

If you had not noticed the CNN icon at the bottom, this would look like a movie with really good cgi. The walkers were basically running through infantry who were using m4s and grenades. Brutes were tossing pieces of buildings that took out tanks and strikers. Explosions went off in the ranks of walkers but the amount of death to their side was negligible.
The entire battle was going to the walkers on live TV and that is without considering that a few of them had special capabilities similar to many superheroes movies or comics. Short and sweet, the military came in with a plan and the right aggression. They were retreating with ample amounts of self-loathing and hatred for the upper echelon.
"Do you think it's possible for the walkers all over the world to have mutated like those in Washington?" Old man asked me but who was I supposed to ask?
"To toss out my opinion, I think we should be seeing more humans mutate towards a more superhuman size. This is obviously a superman project that got a little out of hand." I said without much thought. "Those who have some compatibility with the virus will slowly evolve into stronger versions. Just from my story, we know it starts with the senses and muscular structures. Followed by further changes on a microscopic level until you are either just a stronger version of yourself or an awakened version of yourself."
Everybody had turned to look at me as I talked and I felt a little silly making shit up. Sadly, I had to motivate them or lie to inspire them to keep living. After all, there are subtle signs that more than I, was evolving.
Amala was unconsciously lifting just the same as Jacob with a third of his overall mass. The old man used to have sweat dripping down his scalp but lately, he has been breathing easier. His posture was more upright and his eyes a lot more lively than they used to be.
They weren't the only examples of this. There were some kids under ten that showcased strength beyond their limits. Those parents were watching me to understand what their kids might have developed towards. As long as I looked fine and steady, their worries shrunk by ten.
Rubbing my head, I glanced at Viola. "Well, I think the show is over. How about breakfast?"
A few ladies scoffed and made jokes about men having the worst sense of humor. But I noticed how a lot of them move off with straighter backs and less wrinkles.
I turned to the old man, "I'm gonna grab my stuff off the parapet. Then we need to talk about how the front end is going to be fortified and turned into something useful."
The old man slapped my back, "okay, kid. See you in the Cafe in an hour."
We stalked off in pursuit of happiness. Well for me it was a hint of embarrassment. Plus a lady decided to stalk me. A blonde with a mole right above her lips. Wearing a strap black gown that stops just above her upper thighs. A tribal tattoo across her upper back.

I made all of this out with my disks which I felt were in fact mirrors. I stopped in the hallway leading to the parapet. Nobody was coming down this way, so I felt a little brave.
The blonde lady bit her bottom lip that was kind of pouty. She added a little more sway into her hips though with her thighs already grinding, I didn't see the point.
"I wanted to talk to you about the jobs. I feel that we could use some kind of financial support to incentivize work efforts." She said as she lifted the phone in her hands to show me an excel sheet.
My mind switched from sex to work with a healthy quickness. I scooted in closed and caught the scent that said sex was very much on her mind.
"As you can see from my layout. I think having the managers keep up with who is doing what and how much effort they put in. We can then translate this into a type of credit system. Plus luxury goods like scented soap, shampoo, thousand count linen, and more should be put in one location. Set up like a regular store. Same with food. We should charge people instead of coming and eat. This way, they have a sense of purpose and we can weed out those who don't have good intentions."
Her point system was enticing. It was very cleverly put and would stop a lot of issues. The hard part was implementation but we had a small group as of now. Shouldn't be too hard. I can just kill those who resist.
"Good idea. I take it, you want to run the store, huh?" I glanced over her manicured nails.
"Of course." She said with a smile that she might have felt was overwhelmingly beautiful.
"We can discuss it more later." I gestured at the door to the parapet. "I have to go grab my things."
The lady ran a finger down my arm. "I am going to be blunt but I am willing to assist more than just sit in a shop if you give me that job. I can also act as a Castellon. I have prior experience with running a very large crew in the wider world."
My eyes flickered to one of the mirrors and the face of the mirror danced between different scenes. Nobody was causing trouble now..
I smiled at her as I slipped a hand down to her thigh. "Then I am going to be blunt. I can smell your lust and I'm fine with you running my ship but you have to pay me something in return." I left it open to discussion.
I don't force sex upon people. They force it upon my unwilling soul. Through her eyes lit up and she gave consent in the most physical way, reaching into my pants.

Okay, I wasted a lot more time than I thought. Layla was a different breed of woman. She had that same desire to dominate as Riley but hers was more focused. She put a different type of energy into sex that surprised the hell out of me.
She gave me a workout that put hair on my chest then ripped it off. No warning.
"I'll talk to you later about the overall Castellon job?" Layla spoke as she bent down to grab her dress. Slipping it over her head in an easy one two step.
My tired dick twitched once before being pronounced dead. "We can do a probationary run. If I think you are a good fit, we can talk distances. For now, there is too much to do in order to prepare something like a goods store." I switched to work mode and slipped into my clothes.
Layla just gave me a smile and walked out. I didn't bother watching her go. I already saw that lovely ass with the mole dots and stretch marks.
Instead, I headed for the third parapet and grabbed my gear. I jumped off the wall and rode two mirrors down. A few early birds watched me touch down and walk off. They bent back down and messed with the dirt like real farmers but I could see they were just fucking around.
I jogged to the armory and placed the gear in the right place. By the time I made it to the Cafe, breakfast was being served.
"I need to talk to you." Viola said the moment I stepped into line.
"Can it wait until after I eat?" I glance longingly at the scrambled eggs.
Viola rolled her eyes, "yes, just make sure to find me sometime today."
I nodded and let the servers fix my plate. The moment I turned around, I saw Riley eyeing me like I did something wrong. She couldn't possibly smell that perfume, right?
I made the best decision to sit with the old man and the short old grandma who apparently had a thing for the old bastard.
"So what did you want to talk about?" The old man opened.
"Many things but ultimately. We need to work upstairs. Turn it into something usable like extra rooms or clear it out and make it easier for us to shuffle in and out." I said as I taste tested my food and reached for the salt and pepper.
"I remember one of the guys saying his son played a lot of strategy, city-building games. He might have a suggestion on how to make it easier to defend. As for the armory, we have to turn that area into a fortified barracks. Don't want to give people the chance to be stupid." The old man spoke after a moment of contemplation.
"Sounds good. Get him to draw up some plans or pitched ideas. I'll focus on tools of the trade then we can dive into that." I said right before diving into my breakfast.

I was just like everyone else. At least, I thought so. Everyone grew up in a mansion with servants, trained to be a debutante, had a traveling archeologist for a father, and gave it all up to do whatever the hell they wanted. Right? Well that’s what I did. I was happy. As happy as a single twenty four year old girl can be living in an apartment selling shit online to pay the bills. Not actual shit, that's gross. No, I bought stuff from garage sales, thrift stores, and junk shops, and resold it in my online store. I was pretty good at finding stuff to peddle to my customers. I made rent every month and didn’t have to strip. I’m a bit too chunky to swing around a pole anyway. Life was great! Until two sexy men broke into my apartment and woke me up from the most erotic dream my sexually depraved mind could come up with. One was between my legs, the other was... Oh well, it was a dream and I didn’t even get to finish it. Those bastards! Now I’m supposed to believe my dead father wasn’t an archeologist, but some kind of paranormal agent working for a secret organization called The Guard. My ability to find items for my customers is just a perk inherited from him. And I’m supposed to use my inherited powers to save the world. All while these hunks of man flesh guard me from other paranormals out to get whatever the hell they think I have. A certain body part is dripping with excitement, literally. But my mind is saying “Hell No!”
