《Kali Yuga》Forethought

As I mentioned in the last chapter of part-1, the story is rushed to end. I had been struggling with this fic for quite some times before I decided that I can't keep on writing like this.
There are readers who are disappointed by how the story was written. As a writer, perhaps I am disappointed more by the result of my writing than them.
I realized there are many characters that aren't used as they should be. I try to write a several intertwined story lines but it doesn't turn out the way I want it to be. I try to write a harem where the relation between the mc and the girls is realistic and realize that it's hard to write something closely romantic with a normal couple, it's definitely beyond my ability to pull such thing out of a harem setting.
I keep on writing, but the more I write, the farther it is from the way I visioned it in the first place.
Writing began to feel more like a burden than fun, but I don't want to leave it hanging either. That's how I wrote chapter 103.
I don't want to leave it without an end. With chapter 103, at least there is something that resemble an end. At the same time, the end still leave me a path to write the 2nd part.
The last few days, I try to re-write part-1 and plan a plot based on the characters in part-1. But it's getting more and more like a completely another story with an mc who happen to have same name.
My other plan is to accept part-1 as is, and begin to write part-2 as a story that was born from part-1 but have its own life. People can read part-2 just fine, without having to read part-1. If they want to, they can read part-1 to get more insight.

Once again I would like to say thanks to those who read this story this far. I would like to hear your opinion about whether I should re-write part-1 or just leave it as is. Since from the way I see it, if I do re-write part-1, many things will change.
I also wonder, if I do re-writing part-1 would you (readers) prefer the game like leveling or the xianxia cultivation more? I find the game like leveling is quite interesting but since I wrote without a good plan, I got burdened with trying to get as far as possible from God and Devil's World setting, that I decided to take the xianxia cultivation route.
Thanks for anyone who're willing to throw some opinions.

The Apocalypse Show - Dungeon Core
There were lot's of ways that people had predicted that the world would end. A few even had it partially correct. But how could they have predicted it would be a combination of the system apocalypse and aliens. Specifially aliens that wanted to create the equivlant of a TV show about the system apocalypse on Earth. Arthur woke up with a headache and the option to create a character. Most people would have gone with the safe choice and selected to stay a human. Arthur suspected that wouldn't be the safe choice in his new world. Instead he decided to see what other races were available. Eventually he decided to become a dungeon core instead. Of course being a dungeon core comes with a number of challenges. Starting with the fact that he was a giant crystal instead of having a body, managing a bunch of unintelligent minons, and most importantly the reaction of his human neighbors when they discover him. If he can overcome these challenges he may be able to enjoy some of the benefits. Such as the fact that dungeon cores are immortal and he would eventually have an entire army of dungeon minions that would obey any of his commands. Perhaps even find some female companions that are looking for a safe place during the apocalypse. Warning: If this fiction was a movie I'd rate it R for occasional scenes of violence, gore, nudity, and sexual content. This isn't something you would find in the young adult section. This does not mean that this would be rated NC-17 or X, if that is what you are looking for try lewd dungeon.

The Downward Spiral
Blood? My wrist was covered in it. It wasn't dried up or reeked of the combination of that black gunk from all those other freaks. It was fresh and warm too. Where was it coming from? I checked my body. My t-shirt was splattered in everyone else's blood but my own. Turning over my hand, my eyes lowered to where Ray was holding onto me. I gasped and released him, covering my mouth to stop from screaming. "Holy shit dude! What happened to your-?!" Tears were forming in his eyes but he looked down and hid his hand from me. "Please d-don't worry about it. Let's just go find a real hospital already." He said while shaking. "I...I don't want to think about it right now O-okay? It's no big deal..It's just...it's a finger..." My mind went blank. I pulled him into a tight hug. I wanted to do nothing much but to cry right now. I got him into this mess. This was all my fault. If only we would have just stayed at home that night. I didn't have to go to that stupid concert...
