Hippogriff, if you dont know anything about it then let me tell you some tale of it.

in this vast land on continent, Hippogriff is not a rare animal (one could even call them as monster)... with big beautiful brown wings, sharp claw and strong beak one could say it could Rival Wyven as the king of sky. Usually if one ever encounter them in the wildernes they had big number (10-80) animals just like horse, and if one lucky enough (most case Unlucky) one could even encounter the Hippogriff Variant (with White Wings and more bigger stature) that act as the leader of the herd.

Now infront of Ray there are more than thousand Hippogriff, how come there so many of them here?..

the answer is because its a natural habitant of Hippogriff or to be more precisely one big valley that act as nest that locate betwen two big mountain in this Great Forest Rem where Hippogriff is the king of ecosystem. there around twenty to thirty white one and one seems the king of flock with pure white snow wings.

after observe for few hour he then decide trying to catch one of the youngest Hippogriff.

few days later with some difficulty Ray able to catch one of the normal looking Hippogriff (actually all the Hippogriff is more handsome than the best Quality Horse one could buy), just a young brown wing with height around 2.3(m) 3.5-3.7(m) long body and 2.8-3.1(m) long for each wing, for age its around 2-3 years.

for more than three days Ray train his new steed, with some strungling where most of the time his steed (pet) always want to scratch his face Ray finally get some control on it

"I will naming you [Guts], just like you who have guts to trying scratch me.. hahaha" he named his steed proudly while stoke its head.

After he ride [Guts] as his steed, his progress to out of this forest become more smooth...

even if Ray know a few trick to make himself flying in the air but its more effective if you had flying steed instead.

Few days later he finally see the end of woods and in the map Ideos gave him there only two kingdom whos border close to this side of forest, one is Wuin Kingdom and the other is Remulus Kingdom.

How many days has it been?, no how many years?..

Ignaris Ray finally came to civilization after a long time, with [Guts] that act just like a horse Ray make his way into the first town in his journey, infront of the towns gate there two man in full plate armor who act as gate keeper stop his way

"do you have some business in the town young man" said one of the guard

"I do sir, I just want to buy some supplies in the city before continue my journey" ray reply with his bright smile

"its 2 silver then" the guard said to him

"excuse me?" Ray dont know that he must pay a tax to enter the city

"its pass tax if you want to enter the city, usually its just one large copper coin but for your Hippogriff its 2 silver no less"

"oh so that what you mean" Ray then get one of his gold and give it to the guard

"good, wait here for a while" he then go to the one that sit on the chair inside building then came back to him

"97 silver and 9 large copper coin, here your change" after he get his money ray then get a permission to enter

its a new experience for him because almost many years back he ever travel alone

"its gonna be interesting"
