When I open my eyes I find myself in a white room. ‘I really must have been tired if I slept for 12 hours.’ I get up off the ground and look around the room. I see the other 5 newbies standing in the center of the room. ‘I’m glad they survived.’ I notice Dave and Charlie are a couple feet away from me.
“Dave, Charlie, what’s up?” I ask them.
“Oh, Josh you’re awake. Good.” Charlie says as he turns around to look at me. “The others are just talking about what they should get. I decided to wait until you woke up to explain what’s the deal with this place.”
“I’m glad you place so much trust in me, thanks.” I respond with a smile. “The first thing you should probably do is take ownership of a bedroom.’ I point to my room. “That’s the room Dave and I live in.”
“I guess I should take the room next to your’s.” He says.
“Yeah, that’s a good idea. If not for anything but convenience.” I say. “When you try to open the door imagine the room you want and it will appear.”
Charlie walks to the door next to mine and places his hand on the door knob. After placing his hand on the door knob he closes his eyes for a minute then opens the door. Charlie walks after some time and comes back to Dave and I.
“So what now?” He asks.
“Now it’s time to spend your points. I suggest buying a weapon and some armor, then buying supplies necessary for survival and finally buying stat upgrades.” I tell him. “I’m probably going to buy an upgrade for my Lasgun and make it a Long Las. As you could see from the last mission I don’t really like getting into melee combat, but that’s why I have Dave here.” I pat Dave’s shoulder.

“Speaking of Dave, why does he live in your room? Not that there's anything wrong with that, but you know.” Charlie asks with an awkward laugh..
“What do y…” My face heats up. “No, it’s not like that. It’s just that he’s my human creation, so he doesn’t get his own room.” I say while waving my hands.
“Human creation?” Charlie asks.
“I didn’t tell you did I. Well, you get one free human creation from the entertainment category. I decided to make Dave because I wanted a bodyguard. Not that women can’t be bodyguards it’s just I was more comfortable with a male bodyguard.” I tell him.
“Now It makes sense why Dave acted so oddly.” Charlie says as he snaps his fingers.
“Yeah.” I agree. “Speaking of Dave I’ll need to search the store for something he can use. I feel like the Lasgun just wasn’t the right weapon for him. On the subject of Dave’s Lasgun you can keep it if you want to Charlie.”
“What, really? Thanks.” Charlie responds with a grin.
“I feel pretty rested after the nap I took so I’m going to browse the store.” I tell Charlie then start walking up the stairs to where the store is. Once I get to the platform the store screen appears in front of me.

College student majoring in botany has a fateful encounter with truck-kun while trying to get back in shape after realizing that his freshman 15 turned into the sophomore 20, and then the junior 30. After going through a very amusing(to some) hell, he gets the chance to transmigrate into a body of his own design on a magical world. Playing to his strengths, he chose the Plantkin race, and the new name of Sorrel to match. This is a slow-paced, magical, slice-of-life story with a focus on relationships. There will be sex(I'll try to keep the explicit stuff to a minimum, but it will be there), swearing, really bad jokes, and enough food to spoil your diet. There will not be a lot of action, epic quests to save the world, or anything even remotely resembling a big-bad-evil-guy(a few smaller bad guys, sure. But, no BBEG). Note: This is a re-write of my first story "Congratulations, You're Dead!". And, is much more what I wish I had written in the first place. The characters and the world are very similar, with a few key differences. The story may borrow some elements from Congrats, but should be considered as its own work. Reading Congrats first is not needed, or even reccommended, not unless you want to see some really cringey romance in the early chapters.
