Ok magic explanation.

In the world exist two types of major magic systems.

Origin

Demise

Origin is the mother of all magic systems, such as elemental magic systems, special ones like summons and taming, and some rare ones that appear in 1 in a hundred or thousand.

Demise is the opposite, it doesnt divide in many systems neither haves many powers, it just focus in one thing rejecting creation, magics like curses or seals have a tiny bit of demise essence, eldens gula body has a demise composition it absorbs energy to fuel its power. This pwer is even more rare with 1 in a billion being born with it.

All races heredate its mothers race as the strong side.

A half elf is born from a male human and a female elf otherwise will be just a human with a longer life and bigger power.

Now blood can be indeed be mixed

Demi human female human mother

Beastman female beast mother

Now in the world they are always gonna have be stronger side. Demi humans have stronger human blood compared to beastmans

Now the reason why elden is special is because his body is not created from a mother but is created with the three race essences, like the human essence is bigger elden will look more human. Yet none of this race essences are gonna be dominant, because when the body is made, they fuse making an essence that can be the three or can be none.

There is two types of essences

Soul essences that determine the race, once the soul is destroyed this dissapears too.

And the body essence which can be extracted and used, this one can only be extracted with the core, yet only deities can do it, this is why cores can be used to boost ones power.
