《Serpent girl Lily.》Chapter 8: Towards the forest.

The trip out of the sect is always a rather long one due to the sheer size of it, but if one was headed out towards the forest it was much more difficult, as one had to pass all the many layers of defense made to keep the sect safe from the magical beasts that sometimes wander close by.
However, this time Aura had no problems what so ever as she walked out, not even as she walked up to the small gate in the large wall was she stopped, as soon as the guards saw her they would simply let her pass, many of them mostly the males would still give her an extra look but this was something that always happened when people saw her.
She knew this was due to Holly having talked to the sect for her, as normally it would have been very difficult to leave towards the endless forest for a lone disciple, even more so for a Queen as the sect treasured theses greatly, but for Holly who was ranked as number one for both her beauty and strength she could move a few elders to her side, and as such let Aura out without problems.
“one hundred meters of hardened steel” Aura slowly muttered to herself as she walked through the massive wall that separated the sect from the endless forest itself. This clearly showed just how dangerous the forest was when even the strongest sect in the world hid behind something like this.
After walking through the long small and lonely corridor, she finally saw the light of the outside again.
“the great south-eastern plane” Aura said as she marvelled the sight. The size of a major kingdom with nothing other than grass and small hills and this could also be said to be the safest part of the forest. The endless forest is more than just a forest of trees no here was the greatest mountains and lakes the size of oceans, the endless forest total size was according to the fairies around sixty percent of the entire landmass of the world.

After taking in the sight, Aura set off heading west. She was going to stay in the forest for a long time and moreover needed to head deep enough in that the essences will be twice what it is here.
And if one was to go deep into the forest the south part would be the best choice, the reason being that if she was to encounter a lord or even a king the ones more south was more likely to let her live, not by much, but aura would take whatever she could get.
The empire of Zakunn and the endless forest sect was in the very must south-east part of the forest within the edge of the continent and in the domain of the king of the east, the mountainous turtle Tortus. No one had even seen this great king, but he was said to be as big as a mountain which was the reason of his name.
Tortus was a rather passive king this was also the reason the 3 great empires could even exist on the continent, but he and his kin, as well as the lords of the east, would still not allow them to enter deeply into the forest. Much less the other magical beasts that lived there.
Running at the top speed she could without getting tired to quickly and still being able to hide her presence from the magical beast the roam the great plane, she was making good progress and was relatively safe or at the very least felt safe.
The must important to anyone who wanted to spend the night in the endless forest on their own was to enter the forest itself as the great plane had nowhere to hide.
Hours passed and Aura only had a few run in with some magical beasts, but she had been able to get away without having to fight or truly flee as they had not been too keen on following her.

Aura ran as a streak of silver, she did not make a sound as she ran. In this part of the forest, there were two dangers, one is the magical beasts and the other is other cultivators who were also in here, for whatever the reason might be.
To Aura the must dangerous right now would be the other cultivators, in the forest death was only a step away and here was no law other than the one the kings themselves made, as such a beautiful girl on the level of Aura could easily get into trouble if she was seen by someone with less the golden morals.
Therefor Aura still had her sects silver robe on, this would make must people unwilling to make trouble for her, as she clearly showed she had the support of the endless forest sect, a force no one was willing to offend.
“hopefully, I won’t run into any problems today.” “It would be a bad omen if I was to run into any trouble on my very first day in here” Aura said to herself in a small voice, as the tree line in the horizon was growing big enough to make out properly.
As the day was coming to an end and the sun setting Aura finally got to the first of the trees, they were still few and far between and there were many stumps around from where great trees had stood in the past.
“this is where is truly begins,” Aura said in a small voice. But even if she was scared of this whole idea she was also somewhat excited. This was, after all, the first time she truly went into the forest. She had been in a few times with some elders before but that was not the same as this.
“from this point on I have to rely on having great luck to make it out alive,” she said as she darted deeper into the forest.
“I really hope I won’t meet other cultivators while I’m in here, they would almost the more dangerous than even one of the kings” Aura almost whispered this as if a small prayer. “well as long as I don’t run into the king of the west” she added thinking of the stories she had heard while in the sect of the things that happened in that part of the forest.

Delve
Summary – Level 1: Delve is an isekai litrpg that follows an average guy who just happened to wake up in a forest one day. He wasn’t summoned to defeat the demon lord or to save the world or anything like that, at least as far as he can tell. The only creature there to greet him was a regular old squirrel. Soon enough, he meets other people, only to discover that he can’t speak the language, and that not everybody immediately trusts random pajama-wearing strangers they met in the middle of the wilderness. Things generally go downhill from there, at least until the blue boxes start appearing. Delve is a story about finding your way in a new, strange, and dangerous world. It’s about avoiding death, figuring out what the heck is going on, and trying to make some friends along the way. It’s not about getting home, so much as finding a new one. Did I mention that there will be math? Summary – Level 2: Okay, but what are you in for, really? Well, this story is supposed to be realistic, or at least, as realistic as a fantasy litrpg can be. The main character doesn’t instantly become an all-powerful god and murder-hobo his way across the universe. Delve is, at its heart, a progression fantasy, but that progression is meant to feel earned. The numbers in this story actually mean something. Everything is calculated, and if you find a rounding error, I expect you to tell me about it. That said, if math isn’t your cup of tea, there is plenty more that the story has to offer. Characters are meant to feel real, and progression isn’t only about personal power; it’s also about allies, connections, and above all, knowledge. Figuring out how the system works is a significant theme. ... What, you want more details? Okay, fine, but this is going to get a bit spoiler-y. Are you sure? Yes! Really sure? I mean, this summary is practically half as long as the first chap– Now! Okay, okay! The main character becomes a magic user, but he takes a route that is not very popular in adventurer culture, namely that of a support. There is a full magic system with various spells, skills, and abilities, but our MC decides that aura magic is the way to go, and that the only stat worth investing in is mana regeneration. Most people at the Adventurer’s Guild think that this makes him a bit of a dumbass, but he’s playing the long game. We’ll see how that works out for him, won’t we? Because of his build, the MC levels up fast, at least compared to normal people. There are no cheats, though, and he is limited in other ways. There are some clear and pretty obvious downsides to his build. That’s what makes it fun, no? Morals? Our MC has them. Again, we’ll see how that works out for him. Realism, remember? Would you be okay with killing someone and looting their body? I sure hope not. POV? The focus is on the main character, but there will be occasional varying perspectives from people around him, or involved in the events related to the main plot. It isn’t going to jump all over the place. Tech is standard medieval stasis. No smartphones, but the MC does have a technical background. Computers and their programming might be involved. There might even be a bit of uplifting down the road, who knows? Anyway, it isn’t the focus. He isn’t going to invent the gun in chapter 1 and change the face of warfare. Romance is not a major focus. Friendships are more the name of the game, though there will be some characters in romantic relationships. There is exploration, though not as much of the geographical nature as you might expect. It is more about exploration of the system and the culture. The pace is slow and detailed, sometimes verging on slice-of-life. The action is meant to be realistic and grounded in the numbers, and it is intended to have meaning beyond simply punching things until they stop moving. The general tone of the story is grey, and some parts can get quite dark. People die. Sometimes, people with names, but not anywhere near GoT level. There is plenty of light, too, though, to balance the darkness. The world is dangerous, but overcoming that danger is why we’re all here, isn’t it? Anyway, if you’ve made it this far through the summary, you clearly like words. I hope you enjoy the story! Cover by Miha Brumec Summary Updated: 2020-06-14

Her soul pulled right out of her chest like a long, blue comet with a tail, and swirled around her body like a protective blue flame. The Wild Touch
The world of Delmathar has many conflicts and plots that span over the whole world and even into the war torn oceans. That’s not even taking into account that the world is a candidate in the Realm wars… but that’s a story for another day. Instead we will follow the story of how a goddess’s botched attempt of using a weak earth soul to make powerful Grafter for her mother, ends up empowering an unsuspecting little boy. The boy who is called Nosal Brownwhisker, who happens to be a peaceful little buttonless-shirt loving little Capyban. And as the Brownwhisker family tries to juggle their everyday lives on their monster ranch and hiding little Nosal’s secret, more and more developments keep popping up in the village of Pancreedy that makes life more.. interesting. Author’s notes:This is my first fiction and I understand it will suck. Hopefully you will find it to be enjoyable enough to hang around. There’s not going to be any epic world-ending fights or any stuff like that, just some shenanigans generally with the story progressing very slowly as it changes from many viewpoints. The world of Delmathar may seem funky for now so I will promise a glossary every 15 chapters. The wild touch will be updated at least twice a week, with me having no backlog of chapters. So if I get mobbed at work or get sick I will let you know in my notes on a short chapter. I hope you enjoy, and thank you for the people who support me, give me encouragement and pointers.
