Volume 2-5
The Golem was large reaching over seven feet and while slow and easy to avoid—at least for Elden—it wasn't harmed by any conventional methods. No matter how many times Elden struck it with his sword, the Golem's medal armor would reflect it. He was using a sword that—although an enchanted treasure from the royal family— was still in the end, made of metal.
Elden began to pick up his speed.
Maybe if I just hit it with more speed and power.
His person began to blur but even with his increased speed and relative power it only amounted to small metal shavings falling to the ground.
He ran and jumped vertically in the blink of an eye. He began to spin clockwise while falling and with gravity's help he fell towards the golem spinning like sonic the hedgehog. As the sword made contact with the golem,Elden released ThunderCrack’s signature enchanted move—Shockwave—but the golem was unhurt and although blown back a bit, thanks to its strong low center of gravity, it didn't even tip over.
Tch
That was Elden’s only finishing or special attack. Even after incorporating magic into his swordsmanship to increase his speed to near superhuman levels, his swordsmanship was still designed for situations on earth. There was no magic on earth after all.
He glanced back to his classmates.
‘Step away. I'll handle this.’ He had said earlier when they encountered the Metal Golem on the 21st floor. He had sounded so cool but to go back unable to actually take care of the golem. Maybe he should ask for help. No! His pride wouldn't allow it. And besides if he can barely scratch the Golem;there was no way his classmates could do any better.
Only I can do this!
With renewed vigor Elden went on the attack again. His stamina had increased after going through twenty dungeon floors. Not just that,he had felt all his basic stats increase. Yet still he began to feel himself reaching his limits especially using his speed that made him a blur.
Calm down.
1.Observe your environment and surroundings
Elden looked at the area he was fighting in. It was no different than other boss rooms. A big large room as large as his school's gymnasium. Made of stone and underground. Using the environment to crush the golem was out of the question. Even if he led it into a tighter area, Elden had no real explosive power that could make the ceiling come crashing down on the golem.

2.Observe your opponent
Elden turned back to the golem. Like previously saidm, it was large. It's humanoid shape was made of thick metal. It was a dark metal. He had tried tipping it over our Elden lacked overwhelming power and force to tip something that heavy over.
אמת?
Elden noticed an inscription on the golem’s forehead.
Right what do I know about golems? They're Hebrew or something. I think. Oh man that's all I can remember.
He looked towards two of his friends—Ganesh and Michael— who he thought would know something. Both of them tended to read a lot. Although what Michael read was anything but educational, it did help him have a grasp of this fantasy themed world. And Ganesh being the smartest guy Elden knew. At least academically smart.
In other words golems are like robots? And to stop robots you go after their joints.
The sword stabbed into the golem’s joints but it hit nothing. The golem was hollow. It did not have veins or electrical wiring.
Damn it it has no weak spots! First of all I’m thinking science fiction when I should be thinking fantasy. I can’t short circuit the golem with water since it has no actual circuits. So then how does it move? magic ,and magic can be stopped by? Something like? arg what did Michael used to say. Magic corp. Magic Corn? Magic core! that’s it!
The magic core in monsters—which gave life to the monsters—,according to Michael’s stories, was placed inside at the center. The only problem with that solution was Elden was unable to pierce the golem’s armor.
So much for that plan!
The golem continued its attack;pushing Elden backwards towards the wall. Elden felt the wall on his back. This being his first time being pushed to the edge;Elden panicked. A moment's hesitation and the golem's fist was near inches from his face. Elden ducked in the nick of time, the golem’s fist crushed the wall. Turning back and glancing at the stone wall, Elden’s eyes opened wide and he gulped.
“Arhg!” Elden grunted unable to come up with a solution. His muscles were starting to tell him. He was tired and very soon he’d reach his limit. He couldn’t apply his world logic to this problem. He recalled that the girls had been taught magic. And he himself used magic in his sword style. So then why didn’t they learn any attacks spells? As he recalled the girls were only taught recovery magic. The boys were only trained in swords and shields.

He began to think.
Why weren’t we boys taught magic? and second of all—
“ELDEN!” a scream brought Elden back to the present. He couldn’t afford to think of anything that wasn’t a way to defeat this golem.
“Destroy the X-looking letter on it’s forehead!” Ganesh and Michael started screaming the same thing.
The X?
One of the characters on the inscriptions, placed on the golem’s forehead, looked similar to an X. He didn’t really understand but he started to concentrate his attacks on the X-looking character.
X marks the spot!
After several hits,Elden had managed to scratch off the X-looking character and the golem fell to the ground as if the puppet strings had been cut.
On his knees,Elden’s mouth opened and closed;taking in big breaths of air. He started to regulate his breathing. Intaking oxygen through his nose and exhaling through his mouth
Elden turned to his approaching friends. “How’d…………. you guys…... know?” he said in-between breaths.
“I read it in a book.” “ I saw it in an anime.” said Ganesh and Michael ,respectively at the same time.
“Well anyways that really saved my ass.” Elden thanked his friends. He stood up now looking like normal. In truth it was all a front. His muscles screamed pained and barely holding him up. He wanted to fall on the floor and sleep. For a really long time but, He was cool and composed. A monster of this level was nothing to him who was so strong. So he pushed his body further to keep up the facade.
He turned to look at his friends and classmates only to see them trying to push each other out of the way as they ran to the stone wall with a giant hole;which had been made by the golem’s earlier punch,
—
Elden walked towards them. Felka followed behind him keeping her distance, but always within earshot, In order to receive any commands from her master.
“Uhm...What are you guys doing?” Most of the classmates turned around with expressions that screamed “Isn’t it obvious!?”
“R-ra-right...nevermind then.” Elden was slightly spooked and dropped the subject. Michael stood next to Elden.
“Don't you remember the last time a wall was breached?” he asked Elden, who raised an eyebrow at Michael’s question.
“Come on you know! Paul found that treasure chest.”
Elden lightly put his fist in his other hand, indicating he had finally understood.
“Ok. What I don’t get is why you aren’t at the fore-front trying to get a piece of the cake?”
Michael’s face expression said “What?”
“I don’t need money. Remember?” Michael smiled with his eyes closed. It finally clicked. Elden remembered that Michael had found out about the fact that he received a more than generous income compared to everyone else.In other words he was being blackmailed my his friend.
“R-right…” Elden agreed while berating himself internally. The classmates excitement had died down as Elden and Michael were talking.
Hmm?
Noticing this Elden walked to the front of the crowd.
“What’s wrong?”
“Well the hole is only big enough to allow one person through at a time. And it’s a dark hole ya’know...so we’re kinda deciding who’s gonna have the balls to go in first.” Jakob responded.
“I see. That hole does look rather sinister.” Elden responded. The hole in the stonewall was indeed barely large enough to fit one of them. He didn’t have the explosive power, like the golem, to make the hole bigger.
“AARRGG!FUCK IT!” Zachary screamed as he removed the bulkier part of his armor and weapons. After ridding himself of the excessive luggage,he began climbing into the hole. He disappeared into the dark.
There was tension in the air as the classmates waited to see if anything happened. They were scared of the sinister hole.
“Oh my god! You guys have too see this!” Zachary screamed from the other side of the wall.
Their greediness overruled their fear as the classmates began to cross onto the other side, one at a time. Only a few classmates ,who were slightly too large to fit through the hole, stayed.
Elden was the last one to go through the hole.after Michael.
“Please do be careful.” Elden heard from behind himself. He turned around.
“Right…” The one who had given him caution had been Bedro, the second in command of the knight who were accompanying the kids. Elden had finally noticed that these men were naturally much larger than themselves who were still in their periods of growth. Even if they took off their bulky armor, they were still too large to squeeze into the hole.
“I’ll be there. So there’s no need to worry.” Elden smiled reassuring the vice-captain.
Bedro lightly chuckled as Elden made his way through the hole.

Life in the New World
On the Hiatus: I began writing this novel when I was, in all honesty, very bad at writing. I hope to revisit creative writing in the near future and I plan to, at some point in time, revisit this. I am flattered that many people have taken the time to read this story, but it is not what I intend to start with, as it will likely need a hard rewrite in order to correct many of the more glaring issues it has. Join our hero and follow his exciting adventure through a newly changed world! WARNING their will be violence, profanity,, and gore in this fiction. if any of these make you uncomfortable this is not a story for you turn around and walk away now!!!
