The New World

An AI calling itself Schema has assimilated earth into its system. As a consequence, everyone gained access to status screens, power-ups, and skills. This AI turned these concepts from fiction to fact. It's easy to become intoxicated with leveling up and becoming stronger. To some, it's too good to be true like living out a dream. For Daniel, however, it's closer to a nightmare. He's in a bit of a predicament. Cracks in our dimensional fabric have unleashed terrifying beasts from dark, abyssal places. Schema organizes these cracks into dungeons, giving the native species of the planet a chance to fight back. Daniel finds himself trapped in one of these dungeons. Not long after, he discovers there's only one way out. Kill or be killed. (Note: I am currently editing the story and I'm uploading those edits. It will take time to do this, so if you find a huge shift in the story's formatting, that's why. I'm steadily hammering away at it, but it's going to take time. I gave up Anomaly after going to college. I thought about going back to it, but... when I look at it now, it's not very good. It was very edgy and not much substance behind that edge. The story wasn't quite going anywhere since I hadn't given the main character a goal. I had planned out a story, but I forgot to to plan out the details between the beginning and end. So this one's for real. Hopefully you won't be disappointed.

However, she did not expect her life to follow a different adventure. Her fate was set when she met a lupine stranger who didn't look and act like a typical Lycan. She soon found that this lupine stranger, who had limited knowledge of her language, was in fact a hellhound, a humanoid lupine dweller of the Underworld in the Hollow Earth. Meeting the hellhound proved to be the start of her adventure. She met companions along the way, and she slowly discovered that the hellhound she met was involved in something sinister, which would undoubtedly changed the Continent of Ternor forever. This is the story of Lilac Rezmirn, sister of Hans Rezmirn, and Ifrit Schelkz, the lupine hellhound from the Underworld. The Hellish Incursion is a spin-off story set in Ternor which started several weeks after Hans and his friends reached Main Continent. It is part of the same continuity with 'Light Bane', but can be enjoyed without referring to the other series other than knowing who Hans Rezmirn is.
