Hello everyone, this will be my first publicized work for real people to read. Thus, thank you for reading and adventuring with me.

I do not want to give myself a name... even though I have a profile on RR under a name. I really just don't want to use it so if anyone reads this please submit a name for the MC.... for myself to use as the MC.

I also would like for a female name as well if possible for the Heroine of this story. I will be reading the comments as much as possible.

Also if it is okay with you people I would like to use some of your comment ID's as other players possibly encountered within this story. If it is okay to use please state in the comments.

Now I would also like to state that even though I live in the USA and speak only English does not mean I can use it worth a damn. Therefore; my GRAMMAR sucks. Please don't rip to hard on me and I am open to any and all guidance.

I have grown up without any sort of bad thing happening to me. I have had and entirely easy life. My dad is the only one who works and my mom is a stay at home wife. We live in a 1 story 3 bedroom 2 bath house.

The property contains another house... calling it a cabin is more like it. It is a 2 bedroom 1 bath cabin that my cousins live in. The land we live on also contains a couple of barns and a 2 story ... tree house is what my dad calls it. No, there is no tree connected to it at all. There is however a tree house next to it though. The tree is a Cherry tree in which when it produces said cherries they I believe to be way more delicious than store bought cherries. The tree house and one of the barns was made by my dad himself.

My father is a carpenter that works in a company called M.B. ( I won't name it just for some security purposes.... Yes, I am giving real life info about myself =p ) I lived in the main house for 18 years, but then I needed a bigger room to accommodate my loud adult life. ( Intense Gaming!) Thus, my father, roommate, and I renovated half of one of the barns and I am currently residing in said barn.

Ah, just realized I have yet to talk about family besides my cousin, father, and my mother. Well, I have only two other siblings. A older one by 2 and a half years and a younger one by 6 years. You must be thinking that my roommate is either my sister or one of my cousins, but fortunately that is incorrect. It is in fact my best friend from middle school.

I met him in 8th grade I was the person to guide him around the school since he just transferred in that year. I would feel bad if he was left to start without friends so I decided to become fast friends with him.

When we were 17 and I was attending a Challenge Program ( It's a military based alternative high school. I was slacking on my grades, but i wanted to graduate with friends so I took it to get some fast credits. 6 months later I was able to have the option to graduate early ^_^) I got a letter saying my roommate got into a fight with his step dad and was sent to a Juvenile Detention Center. I then sent a letter to my parents stating his circumstances. Much to my surprise my dad handled everything. He ended up getting my roommate out of Juvy and we got custody of him. ( not exactly sure how even to this day) When I graduated from the Challenge Program I was met with that nice surprise.

Now we are at the present day I am a 21 year old male living in his parents barn with his best friend as a roommate still. I graduated high school and then after that I did nothing. I have no goals in life and no motivation to really do anything. My roommate though is still progressing he is going to a Community College nearby trying to get a degree in massage therapy ( because his mom took it too ).

As I stated I do not go to college and I don't have a job. I also have no motivation to get a girlfriend since the 6th grade either. So, I have had a pretty easy going mundane life. Also I must state before hand; my family is in no way rich in fact we must live off the government a little bit to live. Decided to end that thought of yours that you might have been deluded into thinking we were. Somehow though my dad ends up getting something good for cheap. Thus, here we go done with basic info on myself and now we start with the fiction of this story.

The game is called Azif'Nazet a 90 % realism VRMMORPG that has secretly been in the making for 30 years now. The reason technology has been progressing amazingly fast now a days has been because the company that made this game needed more fundings; therefore they have been selling of some of there products made as a by product of producing said game. They secretly had a hand in advancing games, computers, day to day utensils. almost any technology you can think of that has advanced in the last 30 years has been more than likely because of them.

They stated they made the game because of humans uncanny need to feel like gods and the need for adventure in ones life. Also for those humans that desire Immortality. Because the game consists of a 16: 1 ratio of time between the real world and virtual. Your life seems to be prolonged only within the game of course. It has actually cause wars and violence in the real world to go down by 85% astonishing I know. The 15 % are actually just idiots I think. They actually came out of the game thinking the effects were present in the real world so they started going around trying to do stupid things like loot other peoples stuff and killing. Now the game has installed a log out Psychiatric test and if you fail it will notify the police to assist you in coming to terms that it is now the real world your in. Now after 2 years the crime has gone down throughout the world to 99.8% peace seems to finally be present in the REAL WORLD.

Yeah, you know what sucks I didn't get to play in those two years. Because the technology was made to be cheap enough for the common house hold to get at least 2 pods that's how most people got them. My house hold actually does have 2 unfortunately my 2 sisters claimed one and the other is shared by parents leaving lonely old me without one. Makes sense since I should actually be on my own now, but I am still leaching off of my parents. So, I really didn't have a right to complain.

Luckily a stroke of sheer and utter luck hit me my name was one of 100,000 peoples names that was pulled from the world wide data bank of registered human civilians in the world. Basically if you have a birth certificate and are over the age of 18 you were automatically registered to them. They are testing a new pod and those 100 thousand people are beta testers for it. They sent me a the basic information on what they wanted to test if I was to decline they would pick another name from the data base, but for what reason should I deny they said if I participate they would give me the pod for free as thanks for my corporation. Yea! I finally get to play!!!

I was told that the pod is a beta cryostasis inducing pod that freezes or slows the bodies cellular functions leaving only the brain just active enough to play. From what I think I understand is that means my body won't age or decay for a long time while playing. I won't need food and I don't need to log out for quite a long while.

I quickly told my parents and roommate the news when they had the time. The questions they asked are the normal worried ones. Is it safe? How long will you be gone? Stuff along those lines I told them the truth since it is a beta test. I do not 100% know if it will be truly safe nor the repercussions of using such a device for a long period of time. The time in real life i will be in stasis I was told that my group number will be the longest of the 5 groups made. 6 months is the first group 1 year is second group 2 years third group 5 years fourth group fifth group is 10 years.

Unless of course the project somehow fails during the testing and then they will conduct emergency rescue measures. My parents were of course against me being away for 10 years. That is until I told them that I will be paid wages as well for undergoing such tests. A years worth of wages of mine is a little over what my dad gets paid for a year and a half.

I also told him that my wages will be registered under the joint account I have with my dad. My dad immediately changed his mind and was gun-ho about me finally getting a good job. So was my roommate happy that I finally am going to be doing something. Even if it is still just laying around all day. Hihihi not much different from my current life style except I will finally get paid this time around.

After a long drawn out parting I got onto a plane heading to the company. Completely paid for by the said company. When I finally arrived 2 days later including the parting with parents and friends and travel time. I arrived and was flooded with tests and paper work of legal procedures I really didn't understand nor care to much about them. If I die doing this then I die simple as that. Life sh*t happens. Ignorance is bliss.

The testing/ paper work period lasted a grand total of 5 days. Then I was finally laid gently in the most comfortable coffin ever. I say coffin, but it really is just a modified pod that my sisters and parents use. Except the fact that a lot of machines are hooked up to these pods. I was told they are there for outside use to monitor our progress, mental stability, health and loads of technical terms I have no clue about.

Oddly enough though with how expensive and the amount of doctors and staff assigned to watch over us I was under the impression that I was more well off here than any where else in the world. They had me swallow some awful tasting slime stuff. They forced me to drink enough to where I though I would explode from the sheer volume.

They said since I will be part of the longer group this will help keep my body safe from any sort of decay that could potentially happen. They gave me a list of what was inside the slime, but it all went over my head at the end I was convinced that they gave me the fountain of youth water combined with the powers of the holy grail.

Finally I was told that do to my testing they would start me off on a world all to my groups own and said once I was more accustomed to the game that I would be free to travel to other worlds if I so chose. Other than starting off with 20 thousand other people spread though the world we would not have interactions with other people of the game until we leave the starting world of ours. ( Not sure if I said this clearly enough so here is the blunt part. Group 5 consists of 20 thousand people of the 100 thousand participants and Group 5 will have there own planet that is locked from other players from coming to Group 5's world. Group 5 can leave the planet when they have the means to do so. Then can they encounter other players that are online separate from group 5)

Ahem! Now then, I was told other than that specific conditional world start. We were free to do ANYTHING we wanted. Giddy as can be still full though so no sudden movements were made =p I laid down in the coffin. They closed the hatch pressing a few buttons and the gel coffin I was in started conforming 360 % around me I thought I was going to suffocate then all of a sudden a gooey substance hit my head first. Then all of a sudden I was surrounded by light.
