《The most human elf in Shaylet - Paused until further notice》The summoning

As I run with all my might, the air is filled with the sound of angry spell casting and my boots hitting the cave floor. Heat and bolts of reddish goo wiz past my head as I try my best to dodge their evil magic. My legs scream in protest, while I sprint through the cave.

Where the hell is the exit? How did I get lost?

The more I run the less sense the cave starts to make. At first it was a normal looking cave, twisting and turning, splitting and such. But now it's like one long slightly curved hallway.

Wait a minute.... It’s quiet.

The screams and chants that had been following me we're nowhere to be found. Stopping to catch a breath I look behind me. Nothing? There was nothing, the cave just ended.

That's impossible.

In front of me there was a slight glow and seeing as how the path behind me is missing, I moved on.

A sigh escapes my lips as I wander into the room that I had left before with the hole in the floor. At least the robed guys aren't here anymore. Deciding to look for anything of value I rummaged around making sure I give anything I sense magic from a wide berth.

Spotting a small pouch on the floor next to the portal thing my greed got the best of me. I snatched the pouch up and poured the contents into my hand.

Out came 12 gold coins and a black horn. As soon as the coins hit my hand I couldn't contain my smile. The black horn was cracked and covered in burns, it wouldn't sell at all, so I tossed it away.

The black horn flew into the cave wall and bounced off at a weird angle. It went back towards me and flew into the portal narrowly missing my head.

Too focused on my new wealth to care about the flying horn I decided that I've spent enough time here and turn to find an exit. Suddenly I feel something tugging on my clothes. The tugging turns into pulling, then it starts ripping at me. The hole behind me started growing and sucking anything and everything in. Grabbing part of the cave wall, my knuckles popped, and my muscles strained as I struggled not to let go. Loose rocks and books and whatever other crap that the guild brought to this cave flew past me. They flew past and towards the thing that was now spinning and surrounded in rings of black. The feeling in my arms is pretty much gone by now. But my attention is purely focused on that portal. It keeps growing more and more intense, spinning faster and faster. So fast it no longer looks like it's moving anymore.

A shape appears in the middle.

A human like shape fell from the portal, and instantly the portal closed. I landed on my side, almost cracking a rib as the pulling suddenly stopped. Checking to see if I broke anything, I stand up and see the figure on the floor.

It's....... A female Minotaur?
