《Nano Mage》Chapter 1 Abduction

The rhythmic ticking of my clock, stirred me passed my slumber. Unlike most people I preferred not to be
blasted with sound waves when waking up in the morning. That is why I found a means to convert this grand
old clock of mine, to only tick at certain intervals. Two minutes pass and I know something is wrong.
(My clock stopped ticking?) The moment I got up from my bed, a sharp pain invaded my stomach.
"So we have a live one here!" "Shut up dude the subject will hear us!" (Subject what did the voice mean by
that? Wait are these guy aliens?) I shutter at the thought. All though now I kind of wish they had been aliens,
because if they had been, I would not likely remember any of the events that were about to transpire.
After being punched in the stomach I blacked out. Once I regain consciousness, my eyes were blindfolded
.( What is going on here?) I could feel sand beneath my feet, as I was marched forwards. The Island I was from did not have sand, no I contrast it was a cliff-side island. How long had I been out? I thought to myself.
Did they carry me all this way?
"Where are you taking me!?" I could hear a female voice yelling. Her voice was high pitch, and since my
eyes were covered by a blind fold, her voice was that much stronger. "Subject number 32 is loud this
evening!" I clearly heard those words. (He said evening, meaning I have been out for at least a few hours, if
not longer!) "Wait! What do you mean subject 32?" I yelled out, without really meaning to. (Shit!) "Like I
would tell you 33!"

I really regret asking, not only did the man trip me, but I felt an electric current run through my whole body.
I came to the conclusion that there were at least 32 other people in the same boat as me. What the fuck
was going on?
The sensation beneath my feet suddenly shifted, the surface was now dense. What was bothering me
though was the smell. It was like a chicken had been slaughtered by a rusty robot, but it also had one of the
smells I hate most in the world. (Fuck is this a hospital!?)
The creaking of a large metal door sliding open echoed in my ears. "Welcome to your new home for the
rest of your life! Not that any off us have any delusions that you will survive longer than a couple of months,
after all most of the subjects have only lasted a few weeks." "A few weeks I repeat to myself." There is a
sudden burning sensation at the base of my neck. I am pushed into the room hard. I fall flat on the floor,
and that is when the worst pain I have ever felt up until this point starts. The sensation is like a lot of ants
are crawling on your skin, only when they bite they release a static discharge. If it had just been one at a
time I might have been able to endure, but that was not the case, each bite happened simultaneously. I
quickly grasped the reason the other subjects had only live for a few weeks.
