We continued onwards to a new room to check out the gadgets.

"These are your other gadgets?" Odin wasen`t really impressed.

The place was all dusty and dark.

Alix coughed as she waved away some dust.

"Yes, take a look at this one, a displacer, a item that allowes you to swap places with a friend or opponent"

"That can come in handy" Celia was intrigued as she looked around.

I got less sceptical as i saw the gadgets, also we have soldiers on our side.

"What is thi---?!" Elisa was fiddling with something over by a dusty crate.

"Don`t touch that!" Alix shouted!

Elisa dropped the stick shaped object on the ground by accident.

Nothing happened.

"Phew! You do not want to click this button" Alix careful lifted it up but, as she was about to put it back on its shelf she slipped.

"Ohh no!"

Gel was spewed all over the place, freezing Alix and Elisa in place.

They were struggling to get out.

"Little help please?"

The gel could be destroyed by attacks as it had a health bar.

"I once managed to push that button when i was alone, i do not know for how long i was stuck here, trying to wiggle myself back and forth , but i got out though."

"Alix, don`t you think we could use that in the fight?" Celia asked.

"We could , but there is a catch" Alix said.

"Catch?"

"The user of the device will get glued in place as well, it is not working properly, also the gel has to be destroyed before you can damage the person stuck in it"

"I think we can get it to work"

"Sky, what do you mean?"

"We don`t really have a plan yet, but i can see a scenario where we use the displacer with this gel contraption, we don`t know in which way we will meet them, but if one would change place with one of the leaders or commanding officer of their squad we could then use the gel to trap

his whole squad while we take care of the leader."

"Who would this person be? A soldier?" Cortez asked me and i looked over at Alix.

"They will do as ordered, but i do not want to put one of my men in so deep, that is suicide, would there be anyway to get him out as well as we take care of their leader?"

Cortez picked up a piece of broken wood on the ground and threw it at the gel contraption and it went off again!

"Cortez what do you think you are doing?!" Elisa sceamed as her and Alix were glued once again.

He proceeded with shooting a rope arrow into the gel, right next to Elisa`s right arm.

"Grab a hold if you can!" Elisa struggled but managed to grab a hold of the arrow shaft.

"Guys! Give me a hand!" The rest of us helped Cortez with pulling the arrow back out while Elisa held on.

As we all pulled quickly with a strong force she was dragged out instantly!

"There you have it!" He was grinning like hell.

"Baka!" Elisa hit him on his head.

"What about me?" Alix was still stuck in the gel.

We repeated the same thing over again.

"When the soldier uses this displace technique i suggest that Cortez has his own squad of soldiers ready to help him pull"

"That can be arranged."

"Hime sama!" A soldier appeared by the door as he was sweating and had a terrifying look on his face.

"State you business soldier!" Alix got mad.

"The King has mobilized most of his army to completly block of the entrence to the valley, no

players are allowed in or out, there is a total riot!"

"Bring the gadgets!" Alix shouted.

We ran outside as quickly as we could.

When we approched the gate of the town we could see them.

"Cortez what do you see?" he used his glasses to zoom in.

"Players and NPC`s are shouting at them, if this keeps going on it will not end good, we should hurry!"

Alix was really angry.

"Sound the alarm soldier!"

"Yes hime sama!"

A huge horn was blown and the soldiers quickly got into position.

"Looks like we have to act faster than anticipated, we will use your plan" She said to me before she went onto a platform where she was about to give a speech.

" The King has been terrorizing this land for the last time!"

The players and soldiers shouted out of excitment and anger.

"We will march on and put an end to this blockade that they have made, if they will not negotiate peachfully, we will bring the heavens down on upon them!"

Alix lifted a sword out that i didnt even knew she had, it was glowing with some sort of essence, must be really powerful.

"Archers and spellslingers follow this man, his name is Cortez and he will be a second commander of your squad, he will inform you of our plan, you are our recon team!"

"The Healers will follow me, The first and second assult team will be briefed on the way, we don`t have much time, we will initate with the smoke of invisability, lets get going!"

The crowd cheered again.

Alix lighted up a huge totem as she was channeling a hymn, the smoke was starting to spread onto the squads and turned us invisable.

"You can`t hold me here, i am going to the next questing area, let me through!"

The player was pushed back by one of The Kings men.

"No one gets pass this blockade unless you pay us 100 000 mesetas or have The Kings permission"

"100 000? I do not have to take orders from a self claimed King, the only royalty here is the Queen of Spriga, Alix!"

The soldier drew his blade and pushed its sharp end up to his throut.

"You do not speak of the King in such a low manner, strip off all your items and come along or face doom"

The player gulped.

"What are you waiting for?" One of the leaders was approching him.

"What is all this ruccus about?" He was riding his horse.

"Hold it right there!" Alix shouted as she appeared out of the stealth on her horse.

"Well if it isn't the Queen herself, what a rare sight to see you outside of those walls, what brings you out here darling?"

"You damn well why i am here, i want this blockade taken down right now, let players and npc`s through!"

The leader just looked at all of his subordinates with a funny face as if he started to laugh, the laugh quickly spread, but only the Kings men thought it was funny.

"We do not take orders from a Queen, when we have a much better King! This land is not big enough for the both of you!"

"What did you say?" Alix drew her blade.

"You there........Finish him off!" The leader gave his subordinate the order to kill the player that was trying to get pass.

"Now!" Alix gave an order!

We appeared out of the stealth, Celia reappeard behind the solider and knocked him on the ground, his gear was too good so he could not be so easily killed, she did get the player out with some cover fire from the recon squad.

This caught alot of the attention.

"Arrrrrrrrghh!" A soldier from the squad i was in, assult team one, charged forward and used the displacer device to change place with the leader, he then proceded with the gel contraption and spewed it all over the enemies army, most of them were trapped.

As Celia got out, the recon team manage to drag out the soildier from danger.

The enemy leader was shocked for a moment, but quikly manage to come up with a plan as we destoryed the gel.

We had everyone of assult team one on standby to kill him when he got lose, while the other assult team charged onwards to fend of those who did not get glued by the gel, with the recon team as cover fire.

As the leader got out he immidently defended himself with his shield as much as he could, but we came at him from all directions, he was really in bad shape!

"Rock formation!" He screamed.

Some earth speced elementalists made a ball of hardened earth around him, he was trapped in a ball of earth, but we had no way to get to him unless we could stop the channeling elementalists!

The recon squad and second assult team were doing their best, but some had already gotten out of the gel as they were helping eachother out, now even the elementalists were protected.

"Sky! Aid the second assult team!"

I used my cooldown ability to go back into stealth, with Midas i could do some real damage and probably bring down the elementalists, then fend of the others after, as the first assult team take care of their leader.

As i got out of stealth i formed Midas into a sharp blade and pierced right through the body of

one of the elementalists.

"What the fuck are you?!" The enemy next to him was freaked out of my apperance, he manage to block off my dagger as i lunged after him, he backed a bit off, but i kept the preasure on him and tried to get a shot in with Midas, a arrow hit my shoulder before i could land a hit, it hurt like hell, but my skin is permanently hardned on my left side becuase of Midas, lucky for me it just shattered right off.

The enemy i was fighting managed to kick me and knock me down.

I hit my head on the ground and got a bit dazed, he was forcing his blade down upon me, but i gathered my senses and dodged with a roll.

As i got back up on my feet he was hit right through his arm with a fire arrow from one of our archers.

"Arghh, arghhh!" He was screaming in agony, i threw my dagger right between his eyes.

The last elemntalist was brought down by my teammates and the rock shield around the leader disappeared, but he was gone!

There was a hole that had been dugged out, must have been one of the elementalist that made him an escape route, but where is he now?

We started off with about 100 soliders, now were down to maybe 40, but the fight wasen`t over, there were 2 other leaders from the other squads roaming around, slashing people up as well as their squad members!

I coulden`t see my friends anywhere, only Cortez and Alix, too much was going on!

i suddenly felt a cold stingy sensation in my back as i got kicked down on the ground, it was like everything turned into slow motion.

"Sky!" Odin manage to pick me up on his shoulder and carefully bring me back to assult team one.

"Wha--what happened?" I could feel my body getting weaker and everything got blurry.

"You have been stabbed!" Odin shouted.

"Alix help him out!" he put me down on the ground as Alix got over to me, she was healing the wounded, with some other healers.

"i will take it from here! Thank you Odin!" Odin ran back into the fight.

"Can you hear me Sky? I need to turn you around so i can see the entry wound, this wil hurt a lot!"

Alix put a piece of cloth in my mouth to bite on.

"Alexander i need some extra hands over here!" Another healer came, i knew something bad was about to happen.

"I call upon the aid of the guardians of the earth and water, to help me bring life into this person!" Alix shoved her blade right into my wound, i have never felt anything more painful than that, not even dying!"

After a few seconds she slowly dragged her sword out of the wound as it got closed and i was healed.

"Good work Alexander, i need to restore the spirit essence of my blade, could you find Pier?"

"On my way hime sama!"

"Wa-wait what? Am i healed?" i was puzzled.

"Your wounds were deep, it would have taken atleast 3 times the time to heal, but you heal fast!"

"Is that so?" I looked at Midas, was it its doing? Is the dark matter really in my whole body and not just my arm?

"How do you feel?"

"A bit stiff, but i can fight, thank you Alix!"

"This is a one time only, i need to replenish the essence, others may need my help to"

"Got it, i will do my best not to get hurt!"

" Alix over here!" She was called upon by another healer.

"Got to go!"

"Same here!" i ran back to the fight, the first assult team had joined up with the second assult team to finish the fight as the recon team was defending the healers, the fight was starting to die down, i tried to find Elisa, but she was no where to be found.

Dont tell me she...

Bram was gone aswell...

Did they both......?

The fight finished with the last leader died, i was tierd and sweaty, small wounds all over and my bones were hurting.

I meet up with Celia, Cortez and Odin.

"Have you guys seen Elisa and Bram?"

Odin was halting as his leg was really injured.

"Elisa was a part of the healing squad, but i think she ran into the fight with Bram, with the

Second assult team....."

"Sky, you dont think they are....."

"Don`t Celia.....We don`t know if......know if..." i could feel myself tearing up as it got hard to talk.

I found myself walking around corpses looking and looking.

Celia slowly started to sob herself.

She sobbed on Odins shoulder as he held around her.

*Clap* *Clap* *Clap*

Someone was claping from the top of the blockade, it was a man i have not seen before.

"Behold peasants, i am your king!" He was a tall gentleman with a cutlass and fashionably

clothing."

"Mordecai!"

"That is me my lady!" He bowed towards her in good manner.

"Its the ex commander of the assult team! Fleetfoot Mordecai!" The Soldiers were terrified.

"Why did you team up with the Darkblood Brotherhood, was this you intention all along?"

"Alix Alix Alix, do you know how i felt when i saw Spriga being run by a drunk? I can do better

and they deserve better, someone like me, a warrior and a gentlemen!" Mordecai shouted.

Some of the soldiers were shouting back things like, "Don`t talk to the Queen like that" and

"Traitor"

"I could eliminate whoever i wanted to, every threat you ever had me dispose off, i made it happen, one day it came to me, why do i have to do the dirty work? With my own army i could take this Valley for my own, i know i can`t fight in a town, thats just how this world works, but what is a town if there is no Players there and no one dares to go out and ofcourse no one gets in without my permission!"

"Mordecai, you are insane!"

"Im a visionary, in the future people will thank me and hail me as, The King of Spriga!"

He clapped twice.

Out came Bram with Elisa as hostage and a disfigured man who`s body was filled with dark energy, just like me, but there was something really off about him, he looked deranged!

Failed subject? Brainwashed lackey?

Was this the guy who Bram was talking about? Was this all their plan?

"Elisa!" I shouted, but Bram kept his hand over her mouth.

"Let her go Bram!" I shouted once again with my full lungs.

"No can do Sky!" he put his blade aginst her throut.

"What was that?" Cortez got fired up.

"You were a spy all along?! What kind of person are you really?"

"That is none of you concern, Celia"

Odin drew his blades and walked towards Elisa.

I put my hand out to signal him to stop.

"But Sky, we should!" Odin clearly had his judgement clouded.

The fight had taken its toll on us, we were down to atleast 25 people and everyone was injured

and tierd.

"Bram lets go and don`t hurt my mademoiselle"

"As you wish Sir!" Bram was talking to him as a total lackey.

"Finish them of Tex!"

Mordecai, Elisa and Bram disappeared, but the other deranged person with the same kind of

power like me was left behind, he was drooling and walking on all four like a buffolo!

Tex jumped down from the blockade with a ruthless killing intent!
