You are the first to discover the Howling Caves.
You will gain 200% experience, and 50% better drops for the next week. Monsters seen and fought here will be remembered in your Universum, for use later.
Mathgar found this as a wonderful, yet strange thing. He didn't quite understand that last part about the "Universum", but it probably meant something about his race, or something. He stepped lightly, since he didn't have any form of danger sense, or trap-finding. He was not lucky is some cases. When he was inching across a ledge, to avoid falling into a chasm, he rubbed his hand against an fire trap, burning his hands. Good thing I have this Healing Spring skill, Mathgar thought, as he activated the skill. His missing health quickly restored, while his mana quickly disappeared inversely. He seemed to take forever to advance, with all of the traps, but he did not see a single monster, which was odd. The thought was dashed aside, of course, when he was tackled by a large orcish creature, just after skating across a thin layer of ice over poisonous water. He managed to shake it off, and went in for a quick punch. The creature dodged, with incredible speed. But, Mathgar was used to faster speed now. His follow-up attack connected, and he activated his Blade of Justice skill. The white energy blade pierced the creature's torso, and its eyes rolled back into its head, fell over, and died.
You have successfully hunted: Urgrock.
Urgrock saved to Universum.
Flow rises by 1. (+1 FLW)
Mathgar grinned. He now knew an easy way to grind his Flow stat.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mathgar was able to quickly dispatch over 30 Urgrocks, and a few flying creatures, called Xin'daren. These little nuisances just flew outside Mathgar's range, and pecked him ceaselessly. However, when he had an opening, he grabbed the necks of the avions, and strangled them with his Blade of Justice. He saw that he was able to gain 3 more levels, which he put five more points into AGI, WIS, and INT, each. Only after the threat had been removed, Mathgar soon found out that his Blade of Justice even provided a light that guided him through the dark passages. He grinned again. There was always something cool, hidden away in every aspect of his character.

He found a fork in the path ahead, and left his cloak hanging in front of the left path, and went down the right. There, he found what seemed like an abandoned study, complete with melted candles. He searched around on the tables, which were littered with papers. He managed to find three pages of Frederick's notes.
Quest Updated
The Apprentice- Scribe
Pages Found: 3/25
"Well, I'm glad that this quest isn't too short." He said to no one in particular. "Now, let's get to looking for those pages." He kept searching the desks within the study, and had found six more pages, as well as some good quality scrolls, which he thought might be useful as a bonus for Frederick. He shoved the scrolls into his inventory, which was always empty, mostly. He never seemed to get loot from mobs, of any kind. Mathgar thought, that is really strange. He kept looking for the other pages, since he was kind of on a time crunch.
Since he could not find anything else, he returned to the fork, where he had left his cloak. But, Mathgar's cloak now had a large stain of blood towards the center, as if something rubbed against it. He could see that the bloodstain was fresh.......and that he wasn't alone in this cave. He hurried down the other fork, leaving the cape again as a marker. The path he was now on had hundreds of dead bodies, all Urgrocks, or bodies that were so badly burned, that they were completely unrecognizable. He shuddered at the bloodshed, and quickened his pace down the path. Abruptly, there was a door at the end of the tunnel, with light emanating from the bottom. He leaned in, and tried to listen to any sounds from behind the door.
New Skill: You have learned Listen.
This was definitely weird, and unusual. He shouldn't be able to learn any more than 10 skills/spells until he received a class. Before he could understand what the answer was, he could hear the voices more clearly now.

"Why don't we just kill the human?" The voice sounded gruff, probably a bigger creature. "I don't like his smell, and he killed many of my brothers." Yep, Mathgar thought, this one was an Urgrock. It had to be an Urgrock.
"No, Fenril. We will wait for him to join us." The other voice seemed too calm. "Won't you, human?" The door swung open, and a gust picked Mathgar up, off of his feet, and was thrust into the room. Mathgar stood back up, dusted himself off, and looked around the room. Mathgar went pale. There were decapitated heads of humans on pikes surrounding the room, as if to create an area-like setting. "Oh, I see you like my 'decorations'. They were given to me by the wonderful people of Khurt. I mean, the dead people of Khurt." Mathgar then felt a fire rage inside of him, like a blaze wanting to burst forth.
Mathgar finally let his eyes fall onto the monster that did this great evil. He was a tall, gaunt man with a hooded, dark, blood-red cloak, with a scepter that socketed a swirling green orb. Above his head, held the name in bold, red letters: Ghal, the Dark Master. Mathgar gave into his sudden rage, and the normally-blue aura that he possessed, billowed outward from his body, and turned bright red. The ground shook underneath his feet. A window popped up, but he ignored it. He waited to hear the monster again, so he could punch him in the teeth.
"My, my, calm down, my boy, you could hurt yourself doing that." Ghal merely shrugged, obviously thinking that Mathgar posed no threat to him. "But, this is a surprise, to see a Humanus Prime, even though your kind is supposed to be extinct. I wonder.........ah, I have an idea." Mathgar could see a Cheshire smile form behind the hood. "Would you like to learn about your past, or even your race? I could show you things that anyone in their right mind would be willing to give up anything for."
*Ding*
Quest: Know the Endless
Do you accept? Yes|No
Mathgar's rage was not sated. He then resonated, his voice not sounding like his own. "I don't know who you are, but I know that you have caused me much hardship over the last few days. I have freed the citizens of Khurt from your curse, and I have eliminated most, if not all of your remaining forces from your attack, and you are left with but a mere minion, whose soul I will squelch, after I extinguish YOUR existence from this world!!"
Quest Declined
Mathgar charged Ghal, as he said, "Oh, but I had hoped that you would join me, Mathgar. You could have been the most powerful of your kind. It's a shame, but I will see you again, when I come with my new army of darkness, which will surely 'extinguish' your life, as well as the people of Khurt's lives. I hope you think you have made a wise choice, Humanus Prime." As Mathgar's punch "connected", a whirling puff of smoke swiftly covered Ghal's body, then dissipated, leaving no trace of Ghal. Damn, Mathgar thought, he teleported. He turned to Fenril, who had been about as angry as he was, who was now smiling, razor teeth showing inside his giant mouth. Fenril's thick green skin stretched as he roared, "I finally get to kill the stupid human-whatever! It will be quick and painless!" He charged at Mathgar, with clawed hands that looked very sharp.....

Now some warnings; I am new to this, I don't have much experience so I'm trying to get some by writing this. So I don't stress myself out this will be a relatively short story but I don't know. Also this is sort of the beginning of my world, if this works out and I decide to write more I would love to keep it in this world. My grammar isn't perfect, if anything it's one of the things i struggle with. I don't have a release schedule, but I usualllt release as soon as i'm done with a chapter. Also I would really appreciate it if you can point out my mistakes, I can't learn if i don't know what i'm doing wrong.
