Due to JumpyAf's comments I am currently debating whether I should rewrite this story. The poll above won't be the final decision but it will influence my opinion quite a bit.
EDIT: If possible I would like you to state reasons, which would influence my opinion far more than a simple vote.
EDIT: I won't rewrite this fiction. In the end the 1st person is more fitting for this story so I will continue like this.
