Sorry for the sudden announcement. I did not realize just how hard it is write gamelit and I believe my writing skill is not there yet to mesh gamelit and fantasy drama which was what I was going for. I am a discovery writer which makes much harder. I will come back to this when I think my writing skill and my ability to make outlines improve. Sorry for anyone who was looking forward to this but writing the story itself was fun but adding and balancing that to the gamelit killed much of the joy for me. I am not dropping this because that feels like losing but what I will say is that I was not ready and now I have much more respect for gamelit writers who can all of that together. Anyway, I am not going to stop writing and even started a new story that I find is much easier to write. If you are sad and disappointed or even angry I completely agree, I am an avid reader before I am a writer but I am also a human being and if I force myself to write something I do not enjoy I will burn out very quickly. I am not leaving gamelit, the story I am writing right now is a cultivation story which is technically gamelit adjacent except the gamer in me will not try to create complex systems that made this so hard. On a final note, if I have a spark of innovation and desire I will write and upload that chapter, just dont hope for anything with any sort of consistency.
