《Creator of Worlds》Sacrifice

Julie sat down in the encampment sliding her fingers along the sword, trying to understand the deeper mysteries of it.
Chance and the Insects were gone from the world, and Isla was MIA.
Roa and Yoshiro were both hardened and stern these days and Julie sighed.
Months of fighting after their party died.
A total of 17 races were confirmed to be extinct and many more under investigation including the Insect's species of Berserk Mantis, Adamantium Fortress Spiders, and Arclight Wasps.
Much of the continent was in ruins, and the last remains of civilization was hiding.
A Moss Bunuman next to me was tuning her bow, the soft melody of sound every time she pulled it back and released it.
Julie was tired of all the fighting, her body and mind felt exhausted beyond comprehension and she would give anything for a nice bed, hot food that actually tasted like food.
It can't be helped though, the extinction of food animals like the cows, pigs and telrioses took its toll on the meat market.
1 pound of meat goes for 30 coins when it should only be two.
Julie sighed again and got up.
Her party noticed her and looked toward her at the time and she just waves for them to ignore her.
Julie headed toward the bathing area, but the sound of alarms rang in the encampment.
A pillar of death descended and swallowed a part of the camp, the screams of those caught were silenced almost instantly.
Out from the pillar came the Plague Soldiers and Plague Beasts.
The Moss Bunuman raises her bow and fires, taking one out effectively before jumping back to get some distance.
Julie raised her sword and dashed forward, Yoshiro with his spear also charged in.
Roa empowered his fists with fire and went in punching.
The encampment was now a battleground, dead bodies both Plague Soldiers and resistance members falling like leaves in an Autumn morning.

Julie slashed through a Plague Soldier and blocked a charged breath attack, from another and she backed up to form a circle with Roa and Yoshiro alongsie a few others. The circle weaved, breaking and rejoining, collapsing and growing.
We lost some we gained some, through the chaos of the battle one shouldn't be able to keep count of who fell to the ground, The people who screamed out for help, those who were dying with no one at their side to send them on their way to the underworld. Only the heat of battle could push you forward, for it was common fact that if you stopped fighting, then you have a high chance of dying.
The battlefield isn't merciful to those who find themselves on it and anything can happen.
Julie pushed her opponent away and tripped another when Julie found herself being shielded by Roa, it turned out that a rain of arrows descended onto the encampment and started to rain down, wrecking havoc among both enemies and allies alike.
Roa shriveled up and exploded in a mass of fire and energy, and Julie at the heart of the explosion was thrown into the air, before colliding with a tree having the wind knocked out of her.
Julie gasped for air and struggled to get to her feet, her arms were sluggish, it was getting harder and harder to breathe.
The amount of corpses that littered the ground was astronomical. Piled up or scattered. Torn or in one piece.
Julie was saddened by the loss of life. "Everyone had a future, but all of it was cut short" she muttered and coughed up blood, her lungs were screaming in agony, she could feel the her body getting irritated, inflammations were appearing on her body and she was getting light headed.
rough, raspy breathing escaped her lips and she now used her sword to prop herself up.

Another rain of arrows, another row of people mowed down. In the distance a bright laughter was heard, and in the middle of a throne of gas was Kylia herself.
Julie growled and she struggled forward, whenever an enemy was coming toward her she dropped to the floor and played dead, it was easy because she felt like she was dying as well.
She kept on going, the soulless Plague Soldiers ignored her because they were ordered to attack those that were standing, not those on the ground.
Kylia on the other hand, noticed Julie's progression and prepared her bow to fire.
Julie was unaware of the fact because her mind was increasingly become muddled .
The arrow was released and as it traveled a heavy wind came and interrupted the arrow, blowing into the advancing Plague Forces.
"Good job Arielle, Airis send a barrage back" a voice ordered and the two ladies nodded their head.
Arielle was in a meditative state while Airis moved her body, the winds swirling around both of them. Building up to become a wave of air capable of splitting trees.
Despite their seemingly long display, it actually happened in seconds.
Kylia laughed dryly and flung a few arrows at them, the arrows flew with momentum and pierced the wave, wind against wind and the arrows won though heavily weakened.
This onslaught happened between the two for a while before Airis screamed, the wave of Plague Soldiers had arrived at their position and one of them managed to get behind the defenses and pierce through her.
Mysterious Leader slay the Plague Soldier but this was already enough for Kylia to laugh and overpower Arielle who fell backwards weakened.
Kylia strode forward laughing and prepared her arrow to fire at the Winds of Petal Tea's Leader when her laughing face froze.
Time past and with disbelief Kylia cranked her head down toward her heart where a sword was pierced through her.
Julies coughed up more blood and smiled "We all have suffered enough, begone"
Kylia was in disbelief but she smiled, "I may be gone but let me give you a gift"
She started to glow a dark and dreary and exploded, burning everything into a dark and poisonous miasma.
Naturally, Julie didn't stand a chance and melted into bones.
The field cleared after a time, nothing remains except bones and equipment except for one person walking through the wasteland, next to her was a giant bat of fire.
"Eremus, we are near the curses, It should be around here somewhere" a girl says and the bat screeches and swoops down and grabs the two swords in the ground.
Congratulations, you obtained the Wind Sword: [Katrina]
The winds are a powerful force, they make it possible for life to exist, for the seasons to change, for the lands to be sculpted.

"Time to hunt down the last one, let us go Eremus"
She turned around and disappeared into a fog of dust

The Stars Have Eyes
The universe was a vast, empty, dark, and uncaring place. Then life happened, and the universe was changed forever. Only a teeny-tiny bit, but definitely different. Then again, the universe changes a teeny-tiny bit every second of every day. For instance, if someone were to get off the couch and randomly drink a glass of milk? Bam! One less glass of milk in the universe. Changed forever. Well, excluding any time-travel shenanigans, but anyone who puts a big old hole in the time-space continuum just to un-drink a glass of milk should really reevaluate their priorities. Unless, of course, they were attempting to prevent some massive catastrophe vis-a-vis said glass of milk. Such a scenario is by no means impossible, as one should never underestimate the importance of calcium. Another important tip for any life forms out there is to keep things in perspective. Some look at the vastness of creation in relation to themselves and go, ‘Man, this sucks!’ These people really need to narrow their focus. Sure, they will never affect anything happening on the other end of the galaxy, but so what? That’s way the heck over there, where it doesn’t matter. Therefore, in order to maintain a healthy mindset, it is important to narrow one’s perspective to the things and people that affect them, and that they can affect in turn. But what happens if one is an unfathomable cosmic being from beyond the veil of reality? What happens when such an existence is capable of influencing entire swathes of the universe just by its presence? A creature such as Magh'rathlak the Observer? That particular entity is only about average as far as reality-warping creatures from the dawn of time go, so its influence over the fabric of reality is rather limited. And it still struggles to keep things in perspective. That, among other things, is why it decided to narrow its worldview a bit by compressing the maddening vastness of its being into a single corporeal form. Magh'rathlak had never tried such a feat, but that wasn't about to stop it. After all, how hard could being human possibly be?

Blind As a Bat [1st book complete]
Book 1 He was cast to the edges of his clan. His father could not stand to even look at him. His baby sister probably didn't even know he was her brother... All because he, unlike all other vampire (The correct terminology will be Wanpyrkos; van-peer-coe-s) kind, was born blind. And what do all creatures do to those that are different, those that do not fit society, those that they think should not have been born to this civilized society...? [Book Cover Made by the wonderful THEMIDNIGHTECLIPSE13] - thank you! I'm only introducing the perspective of the main character for the first part. Things change drastically soon after that. [BDSM entries are clearly marked and written so they can be skipped without affecting the story] ***A couple scenes to whet your palate*** 1. "Uh, we heal from pretty much everything and anything. Have you ever tried physically damaging your eyes to see if they would fully heal?" "N-no. No, it doesn't work," I forced out, my voice a little strangled and cracking before hardening. "And stuff like that, isn't that just wrong?! Hurting someone just to 'fix' them." 2. I leaned and he met me, our soft lips touching and moving perfectly on each other's. I felt as his tongue ran the slit of my lips, my tongue coming to graze it as it passed over, knowing doing so was like catnip to him. He leaned closer, and I shivered as his hands ran from low on my hips and grazed along and up my ribs, pulling my chest closer to his so my body arched and rubbed against him. I hummed in appreciation. [warning: so far aggressive or physical bullying and maybe a little kidnappage and sexual themes as well as possible trigger warnings]
