Chapter 22
In the morning, when the sun came up not when I woke up as I did not sleep that night, I see ghost fell asleep and Johanna was about to wake her up again when I stopped her.
“Let her sleep, we don’t want her to be exhausted latter” jack
“What about you, shadowlings do need sleep” Johanna
“I can go for as much as a week without sleep before suffering from sleep deprivation” jack
“What caused that?” Lucy
“Sometimes when I stalk my next victim I need to stay awake for long periods of time” jack
At this we all get off and I rinse everyone off with some water magic and we all dry ourselves off with a towel we found in the closet.

When we all, except ghost who we let sleep, go downstairs everyone was looking at us with a mixture of amusement and annoyance.
“thanks for keeping us up all night” selena
“was it really that bad?” Johanna
“no, after 3 hours Mr. Smith cast a sound barrier around your room. But, the damage was done, everyone stayed up most the night dealing with certain issues privately” selena
“so where are our guests?” jack
“they are dead asleep in their room, they somehow managed to get the room farthest from yours as well as it being sound proof.” Sally
“that was planned, didn’t exactly want the kids to hear that” jack
“fair enough” jacobe
At that point our temporary guests came down from their room.
“hear what?” cath
“I had a little fun last night” jack
“in that case, thanks for giving us the recording studio” Mathew
“is that what that room was?” Lucy
After we finish breakfast of ham and eggs we all meet up on the porch outside.
“we can get to auntie’s house by lunch time today if we hurry.” Jack

“alright” Joe
“lets go” sally
“yes” jacobe
“hey can we talk to you for a bit, jack?” Cath
I walk over to where they called me. I see that they have everything they need packed up and ready to go.
“hey, listen, we’re not going to join you guys in your journey, we need to find our wives. But, we were wondering if there was any way we could help you out, I owe you my life after all.” Cath
“I want you to gather up all the survivors you can find, I’m predicting a 20% survival rate. I also want you to put them through this training schedule” jack
As I hand him the schedule he visibly pales. At this time Johanna comes over to us.
“what’s that?” Johanna
Cath hands the paper to Johanna who quickly reads over it.
“what’s with this training schedule, it’s so light.” Johanna
“it’s a watered down version of mine” jack
“an extremely watered down version” Johanna
“are you crazy!? That’s twice as bad as BT!” Cath
“then hand these out to them” jack
I give him a large bag filled with bracelets that I had bought a while back. I had enchanted them to greatly improve stamina and recovery times.
“their are a couple thousand in there, each one has an enchantment that greatly improves stamina and recovery times” jack
“how did you get these?” Mathew
“simple, I made them” jack
“wait, are you trying to build an army?” Cath
“good, you catch on quickly.” Jack
*sigh*” well at least this time I’m the trainer. I’ll help you with this, but only because I think you’ll be successful and you saved my life. Nothing wrong with being on the winning side” Cath
I just smile at this. When I start to walk away Cath’s daughter grabs my pant leg and looks up into my eye.
“You did something to that creepy priest, thanks, he was always making me uncomfortable with how he looked at me” little girl
I smile and nod my head a little before joining the rest of the group.
We start to head out. it was a smooth trip not many aggressive creatures, probably because it was the middle of a city, and the gods didn’t want to kill everyone off. After a while I see a familiar figure in the distance, an old friend.

“who are you?” ghost
“he is the minor god of war, as well as an old friend of mine” jack
“lesser god of war now, jack” war
“oh, you got a promotion? Good for you” jack
“hey war, long time no see” Johanna
“about how old is this god of war” Mr. Smith
“younger than you” jack
“how old do you think I am?” Mr. smith
“more than 400 years old” jack
“how did—“ Mr. smith
“simple, you are the immortal devil Asmodeus, the hero of the last crusade. But, let’s talk about that latter, you obviously didn’t come for nothing war. Let me guess, you want to show off to your old friend in a duel now that you got promoted.” Jack
“you know me so well” war
“unfortunately I don’t have a proper weapon and my seal is still active until I can get the old man’s wife to take it off” jack
“what seal?” selena
“when I came down here I had a seal placed on me to limit 95% of my abilities.” jack
“I can help with both of those problems. Here, swallow this pill, it was made by the chief’s wife to get rid of the seal, unfortunately Johanna has to get hers removed when you get home” war
I take the pill and swallow it quickly.
an extremely powerful curse has been lifted off of you
for having a very powerful curse placed on you and then latter removed you have gained the title cursed child which helps you resist curses
“and here are your favorite weapons.” War
“how the hell did you get into my vault, greater gods struggle to get in there” jack
“I didn’t, the chief did” war
I take my twin daggers and use observe on them.

“those daggers are terrifying, I don’t ever want to feel that again” war
“are you ready to start?” jack
“I have to warn you, I have gotten much stronger in these past 2 years” war
“as have I” jack
War pulls a huge battle ax out of thin air and slams it down where I was the moment before. I counter by slicing at his hand, unfortunately my dagger fails to pierce the skin of this god. He yanks his ax out of the ground with ease and with a well trained swing he tries to cut my legs off, I jump over it and land on the ax head only to jump off of it and over wars head. I stab the giant man’s upper back as I come falling back down, luckily this time it pierces the skin and slides. I slid down his back holding on to the daggers cutting through the mussels on either side of the spine. when I land I kick off and sidestep an ax swing that grazes my arm, unfortunately his wounds are staring to heal already. I rush him before he can recover and attempt to stab him through the heart, as that is the only way I can win this fight, only to get impaled by the spike on the tip of his spear and vanish into a puff of smoke. I then stab him in the back through the heart using back stab and assassinate for good measure. All of this took 5 seconds.
“I admit, I lost, I fell for your trap. But tell me, when the hell did you learn illusion magic?” war
“a couple days ago” jack
“that was amazing!” sally
“not as amazing as your breathtaking beauty” war
As he says this he extends his hand to sally while bowing slightly with an award winning smile on his face. Sally starts blushing, well more like her entire face went red. I suddenly feel a swell of pride, when I first met war he was completely useless around women, now he is a total lady killer. I wonder if this is what parents feel like when they see their children becoming successful.

Limitless Adaptation
Jamie, 19, was walking into the kitchen for dinner when he suddenly found himself walking down a street in another world, a world with a game system. There, he meets a half-dragon, half-human named Adam, who faces adversity in most places, because of his parentage, and not long after they meet, the two of them are forced to leave town, due to Adam's beast nature. In the world of Tielmar, there are species of all varieties, a Class exists for nearly everything, and Skills come in quite a few forms. Jamie starts off with a Skill called "Limitless Adaptation", which supposedly allows him to adapt to any need, but is it really as powerful as it sounds? And more importantly - can it help him survive in a world where his first friend is a reject in all communities? Will Jamie, Adam, and the other friends and teammates they make in their journey find peace, allies, and love? Or will they fall to the powerful Adventurers that soon begin to hunt their team, to claim the bounties on several of its members, a bounty Jamie himself quickly finds on his own head? All of Book 1 is now posted, and Limitless Adaptation is officially done with the decision to rewrite. Credits for the cover go to me. That duck decided it wanted to nest in the flowerpot in front of my bank, so I took a picture of it.

8 111Curse of the Immortal
"You can't tell me what pain is and what it's not. I've lived for thousands of years searching for her, longing for her smile, her touch. Waking up each morning not knowing where to go, where to look, but still holding on to that hope. That someday I will find her again, to make her happy and protect her from harm." Tears started to well up in his eyes as his voice became coarse. "Only to find out that in the end, I've already found her and yet I've caused her death... again." He knew that she died to protect the people she cared about... He wasn't powerful enough to break the chains that bound his life... "I may not be her nor will I ever be, but you are the reason why I am still living." she was just a normal girl of the 21st century, but due to her soul, she was tasked to maintain the balance of the realms. Will she be able to fulfill her duty even if it means putting an end to the immortal?
8 211Path of Righteousness
What do you desire? What are you afraid of? You run away from one, pursuing the other. Is that all you are? Conquer your fears. Dig to the bottom and confirm, what you really want... ...For you cannot escape suffering and death. You only have a little time. Use it wisely. Uru, a young boy with no talent for magic or fighting, sets out on a quest to become an avatar of order, the physical embodiment of righteousness, in a distant future, where control of origin energy allows people to defy physics and manipulate causality. Mocked by fate and broken by impossible dreams, all that's left is to stand in defiance to cruel existence. Because there is a Truth out there, somewhere. Singular, transcendent, eternal. What would you sacrifice for it? *** This is a fantastic sci-fi epic. It's going to blend both western and eastern traditional fantasy tropes – like might & magic and cultivation – with rational sci-fi grounded fully in reality, to produce a purely fictional fairy tale. I'd like to deliver something light-hearted and yet wholly serious. An uplifting adventure exploring the unfathomable reaches of humanity, free of indecency, with a healthy dose of humorous banter, legendary beings, and most importantly – lots of exciting, firework-filled mayhem! I've tried reading many web novels, but there's a fundamental problem with them – the eastern ones are annoyingly repetitive, superficial and morally destitute, while western ones are often dark, convoluted and profane. There's only so much one can do to filter out the bad and try to fill in the gaps with their own imagination. It's one thing to eat tasty fast food, but if it's moldy and filled with toxins, then it's not only poisonous, but also disgusting. The appreciation of beauty and higher values is disappearing at an alarming rate. Although there are throngs of talented people out there, none of them are creating what I want to witness – an inspiring battle against impossible odds, ending in absolute victory. A triumph of the spirit so overwhelming, it crushes the spectator into his seat and takes his breath away. I'm looking for a real paragon, so now I'd like to try conceiving one. *** The MC's name comes from Tolkien's Elven dictionary in Silmarillion, 'Uru' meaning 'Fire', and 'Dagnir an Uruloki' meaning 'Slayer of Dragons'. *** Note: I'm neither a native speaker, nor an aficionado of literature – I've never written anything before, and despite proficient English my literary prowess is abysmal. It therefore takes me a painful amount of effort to polish the chapters and bring them up to par. Last year I wrote and posted some on FictionPress, but I stopped since it wasn't going anywhere. The appalling amount of filth and mediocrity being peddled in all the media nowadays – a result of no conspiracy to manipulate the masses, but plain supply and demand – is no longer just the triumph of form over substance, but most worryingly corruption of the latter. Who wants to read about ideals anymore? And yet, masses flock together to gobble up perversion and depravity. That being said, I can't rule out pitiful exposure as the culprit to my failure, so I am now once again trying to increase it here, possibly for the last time. If there are still human beings present, hungry or in need of a detox after eating too much garbage, make yourselves heard, so I can see a reason to continue the story. Otherwise it's pointless – I'm not going to make fodder for the masses, and I'm most certainly not going to throw pearls before swine. I'll simply stop writing altogether.
8 220The Saga of a Reincarnator
Life is not fair...That's what I thought ever since I was born and raised in my family. I was never good enough for them, my efforts all flushed down the drain from the start because of mediocrity. In their eyes, my life and existence were worthless...Even my classmates, all of them looked at me like I was some kind of filth hanging around their blessed school. My heterochromia a petty reason to bully me to the ground.Life sucks...I just hope in this new life I was given, I can finally wash away all my past regrets... Yes, I crossposted this in webnovel and Scribblehub.
