Chapter 5
"The hell happened to you?" Jack
Johanna recounted everything from her discussion with the god to now, which honestly was mostly a bunch of running.
"So you have evolution?" jack
"Yeah, how'd you know?" Johanna
"Ghost here descends from Gods" jack
"Aah" Johanna
"Any way do you want me to cook that for you?" jack
As Johanna hands the orc meat over I lights a fire with magic.
"How did you..."
"Magic"
After cooking the last of the orc I start asking Johanna about her skills and telling her about my exploits in the time we were separated.
Due to her overwhelming positive emotions targeted at you, you have tamed Johanna
"What the fuck!" jack and Johanna
Title obtained: godling tamer
"Umm I'm sorry I didn't do it intentionally" jack
"No its fine... better this way actually" Johanna
"Sorry what was that last part" jack
"No-nothing" Johanna
"You're still level one right?" jack
"Yeah why?" Johanna
"Do you want to change that?" jack
"Yes!" Johanna
so jack went on to tell Johanna about a plan to take out the entire group of hobgoblins involving my assassination, Johanna’s speed, and ghost's natural armor. After going through the details jack hands Johanna his dagger.
"I really wish I would have picked up the other daggers." jack
“Don't worry about it just snap their neck" Johanna

"What?" Johanna
"The effect of the stats" jack
"That’ll be good to know" Johanna
I set up a target with the remainder of the wood in this sub-cave and pile up some fist sized stones. After throwing a couple I add points to strength, which allows me to throw them harder. After throwing a few more I add a couple points to agility, which allows me to throw them faster. Dex allows me to throw the stones more accurately and vision allows me to see to see the details better as well as expanding my range of vision, oddly enough. I have no idea what the others do as I didn't experiment with them. In all I added 10 to strength, 15 to agi, 10 to dex, and 5 to vision. I also put all of ghost’s skill points towards natural defense. I explained the effects to Johanna and we head out.
"There are 10 hobgoblin scouts, 7 warriors, 4 bowmen. And one leader." jack
"Alright I go in creating chaos and running around so they can’t hit me and killing any I can while you go in invisible and assassinating hobgoblins by snapping their neck and ghost attracts hits." Johanna
"Exactly, I’ll start by assassinating the leader to cause confusion among the ranks" jack
"Sounds good to me" Johanna
As we head in I cast invisibility on myself, and ghost growls intimidating.
Ghost obtains skill: intimidate
I can’t even see Johanna as she runs cutting hobgoblins left and right. I stealth over to the hobgoblin leader and use assassinate while snapping his neck.

Silven isn’t too happy when he stops to consider his miraculous prison escape, a guiding voice on the air and the herd of terrifying black knights hunting him down and realises he may be important. Equally, he’s not going to be too happy when he learns he’s nothing more than a character in a video game in chapter 3.8. There’s just no pleasing some people. But by the time of this realisation, Silven is all-powerful and all-arrogant, with a couple of game-breaking businesses under his belt. And when he finally understands he has been meddling with the very fabric of his own reality, the damage may already have been done. This fiction contains: * Approx. 4,342,213 video game tropes, mechanics and cliches * Very light levelling and business development (but no tables. Other than the one on the cover). * A rather acquired taste in dry, sarcastic humour. * 0 dragons. Why no dragons, man? Chapters will be released EVERY DAY, in order to sufficiently punish you for all the bad things you've done in life.
