《The Phoenix Hero [DROPPED]》Chapter 010 - Personal Bath

"Since you enjoy taking baths so much, you should build your own," Akira explained. "So get to it! You need to finish before midday tomorrow!"
Akiza liked the idea of taking a bath. She enjoyed playing in the water and if she has a small pool of water at Home, she can take a bath whenever she wants. She took out a bowl and started digging away at the ground.
"Don't forget to move the dirt outside," Akira added.
Akiza took the dirt into her bowl and tossed it a bit away from the entrance to her Home. She continued to do so, but eventually found that it was tougher to dig as she got further down. It was no longer dirt, but it was something much harder and she simply did not have the strength to break through it. She touched it, but it was not rock.
"That's clay," Akira said. "It is much tougher to dig through, if you cannot do it right now, just focus on making it wider first."
"Okay, Master." Akiza continued digging and moving the dirt, but was only able to make a hole that was 2 feet (60 cm) deep and 5 feet (150 cm) wide. Akiza jumped in to see if she would fit, and she realized that she would if she sat down while inside of it.
"You're not done yet, Aki," interrupted Akira.
Akiza looked confusedly at the hole around her.
"You have to make sure it is solid, pat down hard on the dirt so that it does not fall apart," Akira explained.
Akiza took her bowl and began hitting different parts of the hole with it. When something came loose, she took it out. This repeated until she had a fairly smooth surface where the edges would not easily fall into the hole. "Done!" she shouted.

"Now you must go get the water," Akira stated.
Akiza took some water out of her ring.
"Not that water," Akira said. "Take the largest bowl you can carry and bring that water here from the river without putting it in your ring."
"What?" Akiza said in a surprised voice. She looked at the size of her largest bowl and the size of the hole in front of her. It would take dozens if not hundreds of trips, assuming that the water did not just soak into the ground.
Akira had to explain his reasoning. "Water is a liquid, but it is heavy if you have a lot of it. You have to carry it to build your strength. So far, we have been developing your Internal Energy, but you do not have the body with the strength, power, or endurance to use it correctly. If you want to finish this, you need to run fast."
Akiza took out two buckets from the her ring and began to run towards the river. After a while, she finally arrived at the edge of the forest and saw the river. She jumped in just to get herself wet again before using the buckets to fill with water. As she scooped the water out with the first bucket, it was extremely heavy for her but she was able to put it onto the ground. She took the second bucket and filled it with water as well. However, she could only lift one with her hands as it took both her hands.
"Having trouble?" Akira asked.
"Yes," said Akiza.
"Take out your old clothes and the tape and scissors in your ring," Akira instructed. "Tie the clothes around the bucket, secure it with the tape, and then tie the clothes around yourself and tape that to your clothes as well."

Akiza did as instructed and took out the scissors and the silver colored tape. She used the roll of tape to secure it to her old torn clothes and then tied the clothes around herself and taped that as well. It became a bag that was used to secure the bucket on her back. "Thank you Master." Akira did not respond as she picked up the other bucket with water and slowly made her way back Home. The trip back took much longer as she had to be careful with the water. She had to watch every step so that she would not fall and spill the water. Even though the trip to the river was fairly quick, it took much longer to get back. By the time Akiza got back, the sun was already setting.
Akiza put the buckets down and began pouring the water into the hole that she had made. The entire first bucket was quickly absorbed by the ground. As she poured the second bucket of water into the hole, the same thing happened. "Why?" she asked.
"The water will not begin to fill the hole until the dirt around the hole is too wet, only then will the hole begin to fill with water for your pool," Akira explained.
Akiza looked disappointedly at the hole hoping that there would at least be some water. However, Akiza knew that she would need to make the trip faster, but her arms and her back were already aching from the water.
"You need to eat," Akira interrupted to snap Akiza out of her thoughts. "If you don't eat, you won't get any stronger."
"Yes Master," Akiza replied as she took out food to eat.
"Spend some time developing your Internal Energy before you sleep and don't forget to absorb the food properly," Akira added.
"Okay, Master" Akiza replied as she took her meditative stance.
Akira looked at what he called Akiza's Hero Flower and saw that it had been glowing red again when she was absorbing food into her Dantian. "She has the strength, but cannot use it. Did she already reach a barrier?" he wondered. "It can't be. It has been less than two weeks," he said to himself.
