I look at all that had happened. John, dead, his broken body five feet away impaled by multiple iron rods that had been thrown at almost the speed of sound. Karif, dead, his spine crushed by the rubble of one of the skyscrapers of New York I did not even know who had destroyed that one. And all of the others that would be mourned by their loved ones.
We had all done our share... and honestly? I did not care anymore if I had done most of the destruction here.
Then I looked further around and found Lane, bleeding out, shot near the heart by a high caliber bullet but still alive. A battlefield all around us, more rubble shows me where the other once tall skyscrapers of New York had stood. I walk towards Lane.
She looks up to me with disgust. Justified hate in my book but I don't care anymore.
"Why? Why did you do it?" Her voice, barely audible. "I thought we were friends. We trusted you."
A weird laugh escapes my throat. It sounds as if I had tasted something bad and tried to speak at the same time.
"Friends? We never were friends to begin with. You pushed me into this role, you wanted me to defeat evil as you called it and that's what I did. I know more than any of you. I crushed you because you're as bad as the Maiden with your sense of twisted justice. Hell, you're even worse than the one guy who tried to destroy half of New Hampshire."

Hate springs from her eyes as I crouch down to get a better look at her.
"We saved all of those people around the world, you helped us, we were doing good deeds. How could you just betray all of this?"
My face distorts into disgust as I answer,
"your ideals mean nothing to me. Whatever you thought about me is not important, all of this was simply a means to an end. We worked together and it meant nothing to me. All I wanted was a boring life together with my friends. With my REAL friends. Not this fighting shit you pulled me into with the people you set me up with.
I never wanted to be a hero, no savior of humanity and most of all no defender of your twisted values of good and evil."
I don't know why I'm telling her this, probably to justify some of my actions.
A coughing voice answers me,
"You slaughtered fifteen of your team mates and friends just because we asked you to help us? You..."
I take her jaw into my hand and force her mouth shut.
"They where no friends of mine and neither did you just ask me if I could help you. You forced me into this hero-image, because of you the Maiden came to my school and I had to use my power. You personally killed my love with your extensive and over the top power usage. You always try to use huge explosions to solve things and that's where you killed everything I had at that time. My friends died because of you and now you know how it feels, because everything that happened was only your fault and nobody else's."
I didn't want to hear any more of her babbling. Using my power I break up the different cells in her body. Before she can scream I destroy her vocal cords and nothing but air comes out of her mouth. As she looks at me in agony I liquefy her organs one after another, I always seem to let out my inner sadist on these people. Just as she takes her last breath-or tries to, since she doesn't have any lungs left-I destroy her heart.

Sneering I concentrate on what is left of her body and watch as she turns into a puddle of badly smelling decayed meat.
"So much for one of the most powerful espers of the states", talking to myself, not a very good trait.
Without further looking at what I've caused I turn around.
This was only one step to get revenge. Nothing would get in my way.
I take an old photograph out of my pocket.
Looking back at me are two girls laughing into the camera with fireworks in the background.
Tears flood down my cheeks.
"I'm sorry"
With that said I put it away and walk through the rubble to find members of HALO still hiding within the chaos.
They will die for doing what they had done.
Hate disrupts my features as I remember all the pain we had suffered through.

AVATAR THE LAST AIRBENDER FANFICTION: RETURN TO THE EARTH
This is avatar the last airbender fanfiction. I do not own any character except my original characters. The story starts about 6-years before the iceberg breaking. The main character is an earth bender how will not use lava or metal bending at all. No other elements will be learned by him. I am using Grammarly with this work. I am at least planning to write the book earth fully. It will take time. Rest you can find by reading. Even harsh comments are welcome. It is nothing new to me. I hope you will find at least something interesting here. As you can see, I can not draw. If someone is willing to draw, then I am more than happy to receive it.

Revenant
Everyone dies. Not everyone gets back up again afterward. The Deep Paths are a cursed place, meant for those similarly cursed souls whom the gods themselves denied the sweet release of death. Revenants haunt the underworld, wielding forbidden powers and often consuming those who lack the strength to join them. At least, that's the story that parents teach their kids up on the surface. Reshid can't remember what he might have done to deserve such a fate, but he learns quickly that there is more to undeath than the gods and their faithful preach to the living. Revenants have a unique connection to essential magics that allows them to develop their powers in extremely diverse ways. Wherever there is power, though, there are those seeking to wield it, whether they be governments and gods from above, or mythical elder races from below.
