Terry woke up to find himself in a beam of light. "Heal all members, deduct 30% of costs to me heal completely" Shelby called out and Terry found himself in his previous condition as if he had never taken damage at all.
Shelby and Terry walked out almost at the same time and Jesse came out not to long after,
Cody was almost patched up and Arielle by now was unconcious so Shelby came and lifted her into her arms.
Tyler was by far the worst of all of them, he was bleeding profoundly and time and time again it seemed like parts of his flesh would drip off.
"God is healing them, leave them be, come back tomorrow at this same place and we can choose some abilities for you that would suit you all best." Shelby explained
Shelby then said "Oh yeah, to make a room just think of what you want in it and God will provide, though it will cost you points if you add luxuries in bulk, and be sure to create a human, it is free the first time around but it costs 1000 points each afterwards." and with Arielle in a princess carry, Shelby took her to a door and disappeared through it.
A female maid came out from one of the doors and waited patiently by the lights and stared at Cody waiting for him to be done healing.
Jesse smiled weakly and disappeared through a door that just opened.
Terry was overwhelmed by the complexity of God's dimension. A floating light which was presumed to be God. The pillars of light which could heal any wounds even at the brink of death in exchange for points. To create people as if they were machines that could be built at a moments notice.

Terry felt stressed from the mission and he stumbled along into the door that popped up for him.
a large room with many sofas set haphazardly and the pillows and blankets strewn about. Boxes filled with assorted goods were stacked here and there, and a single TV was set along one wall. The Lamps were placed in each corner and one in the very center, and a small hallway which led to a kitchen, bathroom, and closet.
"Ahhh, just like home" Terry had a moment of nostalgia as he entered the room. True it hasn't been more than a couple of days, but all the action that Terry went through was enough to keep him satisfied for a lifetime.
'I just need to rest' Terry thought to himself and he plunged himself into the center of the massive pile of pillows and blankets.
Laying amid the wool blankets and cotton pillows Terry thought about the events that had transpired.
The sudden meeting in the house with Shelby and her team. The decision to walk alongside them, the massacre, the avalanche that claimed Mitch's life. The separation of the team. Caitlyn's turmoil which led to her death, the talk with Cody, the planecrash which almost costed the team the lives of Cody and Arielle.
"These past few days were hectic" Terry muttered and turned over.
The talk with Shelby came back to him "What can you offer to the team?" She asked him
And Terry had hesitated then. Terry thought for a long while and then whispered to himself: "If she asked me again, then I can confidently tell her that I will give my help the team as needed by me, if I am to be a front line fighter then it is fine by me"
Terry made his resolve and then drowsiness took hold of his eyes and he fell into slumber.

The morning after they got back everyone lined up at the ball of light and Shelby was at the helm.
"Welcome everyone to another meeting for upgrading our abilities. As usual we first upgrade the new team members, step up Jesse and Terry" Shelby clapped her hands and motioned for the two of them to walk up.
"Ladies first, you have medical knowledge which can heal the team, a set of portable surgery equipment and supplies and get base enhancements for your stats. Spend as much as you want on upgrading your stats but you must get the portable surgery equipment and supplies first. " Shelby said to Jesse and Jesse nodded before heading toward the ball of light.
"Terry, you are to replace our lost front-line fighter. Previously you said to want to fly into the air, to fight both the Front-line fighter role and fly I have found the suitable bloodline for you. Rank D Garuda Bloodline for 700 points and a Rank D reward. I can provide the reward just pay the point cost, As for the remaining 1300, I say spend most of it on your stats because as a Garuda you will mainly rely on your hands and claws to fight. You can probably spend some points on an element control spell as Garudas can know divine fire, divine lightning and divine wind, but i think you should focus on one of the three and not all. I recommend you enhance your stats first before choosing a book, go" Shelby said and Terry walked over to the ball of light.
Stating what he wants in his mind the ball of light emits particles and it enters his body. He could feel his perception and agility rise up. The muscles grew bigger but his bones grew slightly hollow. The nails became a bit more pointed into talons and his legs also became scaled and his upper body became filled with feathers. His face formed into a beak.
No divine power was running through him and he couldn't fly. Transforming into a human was possible so Terry changed back into his usual form.
Terry came back to the group as they finished up their enhancements.
Shelby just bought herself some machine parts and a Rank C Psychic Shadow ability which could mask their location from other Psyche users.
Cody will be getting a D-Rank mana and some Rune knowledge to create magic circles and runes for the team.
Arielle will be upgrading her Airbender to Rank C and enhancing her mind stability
Tyler is upgrading both Poison and Blood energy to Rank B as well as exchanging for supplies for the team, he also bought a few technique manuals.
"Alright, for the new people it is recommended that you train with your powers, after a few days we can exchange for a few days off into one of the previous worlds and then the next mission will be Layers of Fear. "

Reinventing the Struggle
The (sort of) original working title for this was "Reincarnated into a neo-feudal world of mecha knights, I will reinvent the panzerkampfwagen and mess up the social political order!" or something along those lines. And honestly that's a good enough synopsis given the nature of isekai titles. This story is unapologetic trash but at least it's the least cringe stuff I have written so far, so here it goes.
