From the flames three people flew back. Arielle and Cody were smoking but otherwise unscathed, as for Mitch he had third-degree and charred flesh on most of his body. The smell of cooked fat wafted through the air and Terry was immediately disgusted.
"They changed the plot of the show" Caitlyn stated the obvious.
"We have two options, wait for the extra to be killed naturally, or find the extra and kill them ourselves." Tyler spoke up.
"If we wait it out then there is a high chance that disasters may befall us" Jessie said.
"If we go to kill the extra, we do not know who it is so we risk causing a massacre" Arielle brought up.
"In truth I would rather a massacre than a dead team" Shelby said.
"I see, if it makes you feel better there is no penalties for killing the students, we can just go all out" Caitlyn responded and Shelby pondered on it.
It was clear that the choices were conflicting with each other. Waiting would cause unnecessary danger to the team while massacring would destroy the team's morals.
"I can't decide on my own, we're putting it up to vote." Shelby
Shelby then raised a hand "If you want to wait then go to the right of this hand, if you want a massacre go to the left.
Terry was baffled at the events that were unfolding in front of him, discussing whether or not to kill a bunch of innocent people.
Terry, alongside Arielle had moved to the right, Caitlyn, Tyler, Jessie and with some help Mitch went to the left. Cody was left undecided but Shelby only sighed.
"Its a massacre, I know we already taxed your mind with the brutal slaughter of Ms. Mikami, you can sit out. Jessie and Terry can also sit out, you can do nothing to kill but the risk of being killed is the same."

"Move out" Shelby ordered and Tyler, Cody and Caitlyn left, Shelby walking after them.
Arielle looked unhappy with the sudden turn of events. "These people, life is precious and killing shouldn't be done unless absolutely necessary" Arielle seethed with anger but she then sat on the ground and started meditating, the winds were violently turning around her but it started to calm down as she meditated.
Jessie was busy tending to Mitch's wounds but without the proper medical supplies she could only do so much.
The sound of screaming rang out through the area and for a moment the winds grew violent once more.
This violent wind roused the mountain bits and pieces of rocks fell.
"Arielle? Calm down" Terry said in a meek voice.
Over the violent winds she couldn't hear Terry and the rocks kept on descending.
Terry felt imminent danger as the rocks fell so he grabbed Jessie and Arielle forcefully and started to drag them as he ran.
"What the?" both girls yelled out in surprise and that when the bigger rocks started to fall.
Terry only looked back once and it was the sight of rocks the size of boulders crashing down the mountain, Mitch was left behind, with his wounds and the incoming danger there was no hope for him.
Terry kept on running, he knew his life depended on it.

Maker of Fire
On a world where magic kept civilization firmly in the bronze age, the Gods dropped an accountant and a mining engineer to start a political and industrial revolution. They wanted enlightened governance and a fast track to the iron age. They got indoor plumbing, paper airplanes, a cranky queen, and one very grumpy prophet. Dramatis Personae Aylem was a bookkeeping student when she died. The Gods reincarnated her as the greatest mage ever known, born into the ruling class of gigantic, magic-wielding humans. The Gods expect her to conquer the world and introduce double-entry accounting. Though Queen and numerical reformer, world conquest is stalled because everyone is scared of her and she doesn't like war. Emily was a retired engineer when she died. The Gods reincarnated her as one of the enslaved class of small, magicless humans. The Gods expect her to drag the world out of the bronze age. Though she's already recreated matches and wrought iron, introducing technology isn't going well because she was born a slave (oops) and having escaped, wants nothing to do with so-called "civilization." Asgotl was a whale when he died. The Gods reincarnated him as a griffin and expect him to have the same role he played in his previous life: to keep a reluctant prophet from walking off the job. If only they had remembered to tell him about it. Revised update schedule will be once a week on Saturdays, noonish Mountain Time (in North America)
