《Ah, here we go again!》Chapter 11

"Squeek!" "Squeek!"A giant dark-furred rodent, we shall call Ratatouille, was pouncing towards Lokie, where a battle was about to begin. "Squeek!" ">Power StrikePower StrikePower Strike<" My new invented combo consists of three power strike hits: a right, and left punch, followed by a hard right kick. *Crack!* * Crack!* *Stug!* Ratatouille wasn't going to stand a chance. The rodent's fate was sealed the moment the first power strike hit it. Ratatouille attacks in a very predictable manner; they simply pounce, scratch, and occasionally pierce you with their tail, then the poison will slowly weaken their prey. It would have worked on other beasts, but unfortunately for the rodent, Lokie's body had a natural built-in detoxification system. The green dude is a tough nut to crack. *thug!* The kick launched the rodent into the air, where it landed on the massive tree, further injuring it. Lokie approached the dying beast, took it in his arms, built a simple fire, and prepared to cook it for his breakfast. Nothing beats a good old-fashioned skinning and gutting session. Lokie took a seat on a rock and ate his breakfast right away. *Munch* *Munch* "Ratatoillie tastes better than that magic bunny. " Lokie ate while reminiscing about everything that had happened. It's been almost 26 days since the Moray beasts attacked. Since then, a lot of things have happened. For one thing, after that life-threatening fight and passing out, I quickly regained my consciousness and hurriedly left the scene, even though I was severely injured. I figured that if I stayed there, I would only get myself killed, and my hunch was right. A few minutes after I left, I heard a loud noise and commotion coming from that direction. "Thankfully, I made the wise decision of getting my ass out of there, and despite having a difficult and painful time doing so, I was able to do so. " Anyway, after I was safe from that ordeal, it took me two days to fully recover. two days! My racial traits are extremely beneficial. Regeneration: Increase the cell's reproduction in the wounded area. increased regeneration by 5%. In the trait skill, it states that the skill only increases my regeneration by 5%. According to the description. It seemed strange that 5% could accomplish so much, so I looked for more of it, and then it hit me. With my 12 Con stats, it appears that Constitution has a lot more to offer; unfortunately, I can't get any more detailed information. I have a theory that the regeneration buffs that increase cell reproduction and the 5% increase in regeneration are not the same buffs, but I have no way of knowing for sure. Anyhow, a lot of time has passed. My daily life returned to normal after making a recovery from my injuries. Hmm, that's right, this is my normal life now. As usual, I hunted beasts when I needed to eat. Still, the same as I always do, I didn't risk eating any fruits or berries. I move around a lot, so I don't have a permanent residence. Let's just say I can't afford real estate. Hue! Hue! This is typical of the life of a nomad. In these 26 days, I fought a lot of Ratatouille and Magic Rabbits, and, of course, the Moray beast did not want to be left out. Since then, I've fought the Moray pack twice. Dealing with the Ratatouille seemed difficult at first, but it turned out that there was a very simple solution: let the beast attack me and slap it hard with Power Strike; one successful Power Strike is enough to render the beast incapacitated. Easy! Now, why change a working system, as in the case of the Magic Rabbit? throwing rocks, intercepting, yanking the antenna, and punching the face. Easy! Now for the pain-in-the-ass Moray pack, it turns out that being defensive with them was a bad idea. When I ran into the pack again, I tried to be on the defensive, and almost the same situation repeated itself. The only difference was that the second time I was more composed. There was nothing a good roar skill at point blank couldn't solve, and of course, I utilized the Condense Muscle skill, so even if they managed to get their jaws on me, it felt like a puppy trying to bite me. Anyway, I found that being aggressive was the best way to deal with the pack. It turned out that I could apply Power Strike on my feet to propel myself forward, giving me a sudden burst of speed coupled with Power Strike on my fist; this move always guaranteed a kill, so reducing their pack one by one before they could counter attack with their numbers was a great strategy to deal with them. These were not the only beasts I came across in the last few days. I also came across snake-type beasts, spider-type beasts, bird-type beasts, centipede-type beasts, and other bigger beasts that I didn't dare get close to. So far, all the snake types I've seen so far are longer and larger than the average adult Phyton snake on Earth. Fortunately, the majority of the snakes I encountered weren't venomous. They hunt using their size and strength, the same way that Python snakes do, but their skins are harder and studier. I have more raw power than the snake, coupled with my power strikes. I'd be able to deal with them. But I mostly avoided them, despite the fact that I could usually kill them with my raw strength and power strike skills. I am only forced to fight them when I'm forced to because it's always a close call. Spider Beasts, They aren't your typical spiders who build spider webs on high grounds; instead they are like tarantulas, who burrow or live in caves. I never fought one of them, more like every time I see one. I get the fuck out of the area asap. Bird beasts come in all sizes. The small ones were like afternoon snacks for me; the bigger ones, though, I failed to kill them and they failed to kill me too. But most of the time, I ended up having more scratches and injuries, so, big birds are asshole. Centipede Beasts, Just two words: Fuck No! That has been my life for the past few days. In a nutshell, I fight when I must and run when I am full. Lokie continued to eat the rodent while reminiscing about the past events. When suddenly, something happened. *Ding! *Congratualtion Host, Lokie Strain. You have survived for more than 720 hours (30 days) in another world. This Troll did not, and now he must serve the system and try to prove his race worthy of redemption. Thing is, it's hard to save a race when you can't understand the squiggles that appear in your vision. It's even harder to save a race when you can't tell which thoughts are yours and which thoughts the system put in your head. And what do you do when you never loved Trollkind in the first place? .......................... Update Schedule: Two or more chapters a month. 1500+ words. I am a new writer so bear with me, correct my grammar, and point out things you want to add. I plan on finishing, it may take a while though. The cover isn't mine and isn't exactly the way I like it, I'll be on the lookout for something that fits better. ....... This is a Litrpg story, I kinda regret making it so, but what's done is done. The system is clunky and I forget stuff sometimes, don't hesitate to point out stuff that looks wrong or is wrong. There will be some cultivation aspects and some kingdom building later on.
