《Aliad - Tale of Zed [Dropped]》Chapter 39 - Sneaking In

The next day started with the light shining in our room. Sasha lied next to me under the covers of the bed. She looked stunningly beautiful. Then I noticed that she was naked and I was too.
I grew worried as I never expected this to have happened at such a time. I tried to remember everything that I did yesterday and suddenly, “I forgot about Elenia!” I thought.
I hurriedly got off the bed, of course careful as to not wake Sasha up. I changed my clothes using magic and before I even got out, the door opened.
On the other side of the door stood Elenia. She was wearing a white robe that reached down to her feet.
“Thank you for last night,” she said with a weird smile on her face as she stepped closer to me.
I was filled with questions as I didn’t know what she was talking about. I stepped back unconsciously but she stepped closer.
“You took care of me, injured as I was,” she said.
“Um, yes,” I answered hesitantly.
She smiled and said, “Then please, accept this token of gratitude,” as she slowly pulled open her robe.
My heart was thumping a bit but then everything went black.
I opened my eyes and saw that I was outside of Lanafal. It was light out, but I was under a thick forest that it almost looked like evening.
“What happened?!” I shouted.
“Master, you were under Elenia’s spell. We were unable to help you as Ravenex mist stopped us from doing so,” said Malakir.
“Where’s everyone else?” I asked.
“They were taken away to Lanafal under the dead of night.”
“Are they safe?”
“Yes, they were merely charmed as you were. They didn’t take you as I only had enough time to hide you.”
“We have to save them,” I said as I looked to Lanafal.
Elenia’s spell was so vivid, everything I saw while under that spell is exactly how I still see of Lanafal. The coral stone, Inner and Outer districts, the shopkeepers, everything.
Since I didn’t know where I would be able to find everyone, I made sure to disguise myself as a commoner. I wore a simple black leather armor and a red mask to hide my face. I had a staff on my hands to emphasize that I was a mage and in this way, no one would question the mask.

I did all the investigating, as my summons would be too conspicuous. Using Wind Sight was a problem as it would make Elenia sensitive to it so I didn’t dare use it.
I finally found out where Elenia took them after beating the information out of an information broker. He threatened to have me killed when I was walking away but…
I accelerated to in front of him and said, “I don’t care who you are or who you know. But just to make sure that it never happens… I will kill you now.”
I then gathered mana into my hands and casted the space magic “Bend” on his stomach.
He started bending in ways, humans shouldn’t. I made sure he couldn’t scream by bending the air in front of his mouth. Finally, I bent his head, killing him instantly.
I walked away and headed to where Elenia took them and would you believe that it was also the Halo Hotel?
My main problem now was on how to get to the Inner District. The Outer District had no need of a pass but the Inner District does. Going from the air would be too difficult as the walls would just push me away, the same can be said of the sea. From the land, I would not be able to use “Invisibility” as the walls dispel any concealment spell being used.
It was quite a conundrum.
“What if we sent monsters in?” suggested Malakir.
“But how? The area around us is hunted down of monsters constantly, there wouldn’t be any left,” I said.
“We make them. The grasslands around us are filled with animals. All we need to do is infuse them with mana and they will turn into monsters under our control.”
“Magic can do that?”
“Yes, this was used by many mages acting as spies 10,000 years ago. The method is now lost and only I know of it.”
I walked out of Lanafal and headed for the grasslands. I made sure to be in a place that had a lot of animals that I would use for a diversion.

For some strange reason, the animals in this grassland were only rabbits.
“Will these be enough?” I asked.
“Though they will be weaker, the sheer number of them will be enough,” said Malakir.
There were almost a thousand small, furry, little rabbits that would be turned into man-eating, rabid, ferocious, giant rabbits bent to my will.
I followed what Malakir had me do. I gathered the Chaos mana and infused into them Holy and Dark mana. This would then turn it into Chaotic Divinity mana that listened only to me. It was hard work but I sped up the process by using “Accelerate”. It took me two hours to gather enough of the mana and then I proceeded with the ritual.
Ritual magic is an old magic that is used to create tremendous feats of magic. Only this magic had the capability of shaking the very foundations of the world. It could raze mountains and raise them from the sea, it could drown an entire continent or it could demolish them to nothing. Now a similar magic is being used to turn small, cute rabbits into ferocious monsters.
Using the mana, I created a magic circle that encompassed the whole grasslands. Since the activation of the spell would cause bright lights, Malakir would stop anyone from seeing what I was doing and Chronos and Galahad would take care of people trying to interrupt me for some random reason.
I focused all my attention into the circle and when it was completed. I activated the spell forcing the very mana in the air to also turn into Chaotic Divinity mana. Because of the absence of regular mana, the created mana forced itself to enter all living things and possess them.
I concentrated into making sure that the mana was only infused on the rabbits and not on the grass or trees. I only needed a diversion not an army.
The rabbits cried out in pain and it hurt me to hurt cute innocent rabbits and then bend them to my will. Where I will send them all to die for the safety of my family.
After the transformation, they all came up to me.
They turned from white furred cuddly rabbits into black scaled, spiked with red tips and fangs with dripping green poison. They still had appearances of rabbits what with the ears and hind legs, but they now had a menacing feel what with their giant and monstrous forms.
“Attack the city,” I simply said.
They all roared and hopped towards Lanafal.

A different scene…
The gates to Lanafal were just about to close when loud thumping noises could be heard.
The guard in charge of the gates turned towards where the sound was coming from.
He saw a cloud of dust, steadily increasing in size. He squinted his eyes and saw black rabbits. Thousands of them coming straight to Lanafal.
Alarmed he shouted, “Close the gates!”
The guards who were to close the gates wondered why they had to close a little early. They looked to the distance and saw black rabbits coming towards them.
They frantically tried to close the gates but one of the guards hands got crushed by the gears and he howled in pain.
The rabbits were finally in front of the gates. Some charged in front, breaking down the part of the gate that was already down. Others jumped from the sky, the walls tried to push them away but more rabbits appeared behind them, pushing the rabbits inside and rendering the walls ineffective.
The guards and mercenaries tried to contain the rabbit horde but there was just too many.
They had to call on the help of the guards from the Inner District forcing the gates to the Inner District to be unmanned. Leaving no one to know that a figure cloaked in black appeared out of nowhere before the gate and then disappeared right after.
