After a leisure ride, they got off after paying the driver. The whole time, Trey was crying as he reluctantly parted with his meager savings (and some of Kathy's).
Standing in front of the giant gates leading to Emerald Academy, Gear looked upon the magnificent view of the towering walls and armored guards.
"Okay Gear, go this way." Kathy was about to pull his arm when Wolfe interrupted her.
"No, we need to go in with a bang! Let's barge through the front door."
"We're just here to meet the headmaster though."
"Tut - tut. Kathy you don't understand a man's romance. Explosions are life, dramatic entrances also are life. Even in battle, a dramatic entrance is useful. It can be used as a mental attack."
"So you plan to break into our alma mater. The place that houses the most powerful beings alive who can easily defeat dragons alone."
"Yep."
"...count me in!"
"Oi, oi! Ain't this conversation going in a bad direction!?!" Gear watched as Wolfe pulled out his bow and Kathy got her staff ready.
"EXPLODING TRIPLE ARROWS!!!"
"Praetereo Sermo: BIG BANG BLAST!!!"
Three giant glowing arrows were fired from Wolfe's bow. A giant fireball appeared in front of Kathy, and flew after Wolfe's arrows.
Trey, standing to the side, spoke in a low voice. "Seriously, you guy's are so troublesome." Putting his arms out, he spoke, "...but count me in! {Call of Life, Chi Channeling Blast}"
The air temporarily grew heavy around Trey, then giant images of coins appeared around Trey.
"I'll channel the frustration of losing Maca and being broke into this blast! Take this, my agony of being poooor!!!" Throwing his hands forward, the coin flew forward.
All three attacks hit the front of the gates. The armored guards in front exploded to Gear's horror, until he realized that the interiors were empty. However, the trio didn't stop there.

"THOUSAND SWARM ARROWS!"
"Praetereo Sermo: LIGHTNING DRAGON STRIKE!"
"{Call of Life, Soul Chi Pillar}"
Several more volleys of attacks later, and the gates were now a pile of rubble.
"Seriously, what the hell is going on now." Not knowing anything, Gear wondered if it was wise to be in the area of the crazy trio.
"Hmm, their use of energy is quite amazing." Now lost in research, Gear started to study the various ways of energy manipulated to produce explosive reactions.
