Chapter 4

Falling for a Fallen

3 years before Canon

After meeting Shiva, there were no such events where Naruto was either asked by someone or found by anyone. In his free time, he went to the Dimensional Gap and met great Red there in person.

Flashback

'Man, I'm bored' thought Naruto to himself. His training with his Sacred Gear was good and he achieved his Balance Breaker recently. It is one hell of power-up compared to his normal use of light and shadow elements. He had decided to not use his powers like his Dōjutsu and continued to purify the natural energy in the world. He is bored and his books of the Icha Icha series were selling all-time high. Year by year, the collections and sales increased and he thought of making movies just like Jiraiya did in the Shinobi World. His thoughts were interrupted by his fox companion.

"Why don't you go meet that overgrown lizard, Naruto. I'm sure he will be thrilled to see you in person. It's been a while since you both talked isn't it" said Kurama. Naruto thought about it and nodded his head.

'Yeah, why not. Let me finish my Ramen' he thought and slurped the last of noodles and threw the empty bowl into a trash can nearby. He went into a dark alley and channelled chakra into his eyes. His eyes changed to that of a Red Spiral Pattern. With a black portal, he was gone.

Dimensional Gap

Great Red was in his routine doing some stunts with flips and rotations when a black portal opened in front of him and came out Naruto. Because of his speed, he couldn't stop himself and hit Naruto only for him to pass through him like he was a ghost. Red was amazed by the display of skill by Naruto.

"Yo," said Naruto with a 2 finger salute.

"Ah, Naruto, I didn't see you coming and what is that anyway? I didn't see anyone with that kind of ability. Is that an intangibility technique?" Asked Red in curiosity. Naruto nodded to that and replied.

"Yes, Red, it is an intangibility technique which uses shadows as a means to merge my body with shadows so that I won't receive any damage physically," explained Naruto. Red nodded his massive head at the explanation. 'Though the truth lies with my eyes, he doesn't need to know that' thought Naruto to himself.

"Anyway, now back to the matter at hand. I came here so that we can finally meet in person. Tell me Red, do you have any plans for us to spend time together" asked Naruto curiously wanting to know what Red had planned for them or if there is any plan in the first place, as his visit was kinda out of the blue. Red thought about it for a moment and his eyes sparkled with excitement the next.

"Yes, I have a plan. We both can do stunts. We can jump and roll and pass through dimensions and dimension jumps. My current record is 5-dimensional jump when l pass through 5 of them without any of them collapsing on me and if you want we can see people's dreams and so on" he said with enthusiasm. He wanted to play with his friend. So his excitement and enthusiasm are understandable. Naruto just nodded and they both enjoyed themselves with each other. Naruto kept up with Red's speed without any problem and they both did all types of bike stunts as well but in the Dimensional Gap. In which Red shared some information about his preferences. Naruto's body adjusted to the atmosphere in the gap and though it was damaged in the beginning, it didn't show on his akin as his healing prowess is otherworldly, literally.

"Oh, Naruto. I like bike stunts and I have a Harley and will participate in bike stunts some time in the human world" said the giant Red dragon.

"Oh, I should try them sometime. I like pranks and playing them on someone powerful thrills me. You see a long time ago I painted the faces carved..." Naruto started telling stories about his pranks in Konoha and Shinobi world. Kurama watched in amusement as Naruto reminisced about all his greatest works in the Shinobi World.

Scene Break

After talking to each other for some time and discussing their adventures, Naruto came to Japan again. He is currently sitting in a Ramen stand eating some Miso Ramen. He liked the flavour here and just completed his 21st bowl. The shop owner was looking at him like he was an alien. The poor man didn't see anyone eat so much Ramen, even in a contest. But this particular Blonde man ate 21 large bowls of Ramen just like that. Naruto didn't mind it though. Deciding that he had enough of this, he paid for all he ate and then some and moved out of the store.

'Say, Kurama' thought Naruto.

"Hmmm"

'How about we complete our training in that Sacred Gear. You know well that I have achieved my Balance Breaker of the Dragon part. How about we visit a separate part of Dimensional Gap and train there with the Light half'

"Well, it is an interesting idea. You have wasted enough time achieving the Balance Breaker because you are lazy and did not train at all. Why do you think it is important now" asked the New Juubi.

'Well, I have this sense that sooner or later I'll be dragged into some shit because of my luck to attract trouble or something and I don't want to use chakra. That spells danger and you know that. Only Youkai in this world can use Chakra and if I use that, I'll be assumed as one of them and my actions may lead to war, again. I don't want that and I want to get back to shape. I did not train after mastering all the new powers gained from you becoming the Juubi and the Byakugan Hinata gave me. I want to get back in shape and kick some ass, you know, just like old days' he thought with a wistful smile on his face.

"Hmmm, just typical Naruto I guess. Well, as you wish. Learn all the magic you can so that no one can suspect you being an alien" said Kurama with a chuckle and Naruto nodded and vanished in a black portal.

1 Year later, Dimensional Gap

In a part of Dimensional Gap which is left undisturbed, a blonde is seen practising. He took a deep breath and said.

"Shadow Dragon's Roar" Naruto released a large burst of shadows from his mouth. The roar went undisturbed to long distances as it can't be measured in the Dimensional Gap. It became colour in the iridescent colours of the Vast Gap.

"Shadow Dragon's Dark Slash" Naruto covered his arm in shadows and punches into the air releasing shadows from it.

"Shadow Dragon's Nightly Haste" Naruto generates shadows from his hand and uses them to attack the target.

"Shadow Dragon's Engulfing Flash". Naruto turns his body into shadows and then wraps himself around the target, assaulting them with a torrent of shadows generated from his hands. In this case his clone.

"Shadow Drive"

Shadow Drive is a type of Magic-amplification technique used to bring out the true power of his Shadow Dragon abilities. It enhances his physical prowess to a high degree, particularly his speed. It grants Naruto an aura of shadows that completely cloaks and continuously rises from his body. The technique also obscures Naruto's eyes. According to Skiadrum's knowledge, Kurama gained, the Shadow drives harnesses "the power that kills Dragons", this made Naruto a Dragon Slayer as his Magic is lethal to Dragons. To be more specific, he is the Shadow Dragon Slayer.

"Dragon Force" with just those 2 words everything changed. Naruto's body changed.

This is the Balance Breaker of his Dragon Slayer abilities. Naruto is capable of entering the most powerful form of the Dragon Slayer magic at will, without the need to consume strong, external sources of Magic. When this state is activated, Naruto's body becomes much more akin to an actual Shadow Dragon's, with his whole body becoming covered in an aura of shadows even thicker and darker than that provided by Shadow Drive, and with thick dark intricate scale-like patterns appearing to cover the outer edges of his face, underneath and around his eyes, extending down from the side of his neck and onto the rest of his body. These are shown to be more and more uniform as they get farther from the central portion of his body, which instead bear several scattered, distinct scales, elongated and placed diagonally.

"Well that's it for the power once," said Naruto aloud. Being in the Balance Breaker form, his voice will be rough and guttural.

"You have become more proficient and efficient in using them, Naruto. Add to the fact that you created more attacks with this than the dead Dragon ever could. It went well" appreciated Kurama and Naruto nodded. He concentrated on making his magic more controlled instead of its wild nature. His magical capabilities are not anything to sneeze at. Not on par with his Chakra Reserves, his Magical reserves will put most of the Gods to shame. He can increase them by consuming the shadows around him at any time possible. Coming with his vast pool was his control. Unlike his chakra, his magic is well controlled and due to it increasing in small margins, he gained perfect control of it without a problem. No magic leaks out of him. His Slayer abilities are capable of Slaying most of the Dragons roaming the world. Maybe not of Ophis or Great Red, power-wise. But for them, he had his eyes and his partner and buddy, Kurama. Even though his assumption were wrong as Ophis didn't lose her powers yet and Red confirmed it to him. She is still the infinite Dragon.

He began gathering his holy light magic. He practised with his magic for while. He gathered his light around his body like armour and started making rounds. The vast colourless area was filled with different colours as Naruto's training went on. He finished his training and sighed.

"That's it for now. I'm going to eat and take some rest. I should do some research after all" he laughed like a pervert and vanished from the Dimensional Gap.

Meanwhile in Underworld,

Elder Council Chamber, Lilith

In the peaceful and beautiful city of Lilith, the Capital of Devils part of Underworld, there was a meeting going on. It is a matter of utmost importance to most of the population of Devils. The meeting is held in the Council Chambers.

This Council is called the Elder Council and is responsible for all the decisions made for the welfare of Devil kind. Though Satans have a certain level of freedom, they do not have complete freedom and are answerable to the Council but no one dares ask them anyway. This council is headed by the Great King, Zekram Bael. The first head of the Bael Clan and a first Generation Devil. The council members are made up of elders from all the remaining pillar clans. While some doesn't send anyone. The young generation in training is here to take over for their families in future. They are discussing an important matter now.

"I propose to give Jiraiya-sama the status of High-Class Devil," said an old man whose name is not required. He is one of the perverts who were avid readers of Icha Icha Paradise. The current discussion is about the Devil promotions in which all the Devils are examined for their capabilities physically, mentally and in combat. This particular old fart is from the Zeron clan which is not much famous but brought this up in front of the Elder Council of Devils.

"Are you saying to Re-Incarnate him into one of us and promote him to High-Class status?" asked another old goat. These people are here for serious matters and this guy should bring the matter of Jiraiya of all people.

"No. I won't dare say that. If we did that, then there would be a conflict of who would incarnate him and that may lead to civil war as all the young Devils like his literature. I want to give him the Status of a High-Class Devil so that Jiraiya-sama may feel more privileged and give us more literature as a gift" he said at the end with a perverted grin. Most of the older generation had the same perverted grins while the Younger generations blush on their faces.

'These people are talking about Porn in such a high-level meeting' thought Zekram Bael, the Great King and the former Lord of Bael Clan.

"I oppose that" shouted one of the men who didn't have any perverted grins on his face. Zekram sighed in relief. 'At least one of them has brains' he thought to himself. But before he could enjoy the moment of reprieve, the same person shouted again.

"We should give him the Ultimate Class Status" he had a nose bleed at that. Zekram didn't dare to think what the man was thinking at that moment.

Giving a living Human the status of a High-Class Devil is something never happened. But this person is suggesting to give him the Ultimate Class status. He sighed. If he let them, they would make Jiraiya their new Satan.

"Enough" he bellowed. Silencing the cheering and roaring crowds.

"If you want to make a Human a High-Class Devil, you should have 90% of Majority and an Ultimate Class Devil without testing, then Unanimous Agreement of the council and assent of 2 Satans. Now tell me, how many of you think this is possible" he said in a stern tone. The masses started discussing. One of the Phenex clan elders rose from their seat and bowed to the Great King and replied

"Sir, we have discussed and decided to give Jiraiya-sama High-Class Devil Status," he said and almost all the crowd nodded.

"Let's decide terms first and decide later," said Zekram and everyone nodded. A man from Astaroth Clan stood up.

"We would like Jiraiya-Sama to have High-class Devil status so that it encourages him to help us with his literature more. As for the terms, he will be Human but a special set of Evil Pieces will be created for him specially. The evil pieces will give him all the boosts when someone is reincarnated into a Devil. If he chose to, he would be Reincarnated himself with his King piece and become a Devil. That is only if he chooses to. We would like to give him a place of residence in Lilith or any other territory if it is agreeable. As for the reason, he had given marvellous work to keep us entertained and is a dear friend of our Satan Leviathan. We would like to have his works coming more for us. As you may have noticed that after the launch of his books in Underworld, he had given us more copies than that in the Human world. We have nearly 100 copies more than in the Underworld and recently he had announced he had cooked something special for us" concluded the man with a bow.

Zekram thought about it. The man in question had supplied them with so much to read and it is quite detailed and entertaining. If there is something common to every Devil, then that would their lust. Even though if it is not their primary sin, every Devil has an insane drive for lust and in some cases, lust is the one that makes some talk. As a man who is experienced and a capable leader, Zekram saw nothing wrong with their desire and this benefits his people more. After all, he also likes the literature of the man. Mainly the one of Sirtukes and Chaya. He laughed perversely in his mind at the contents of that book. He coughed, gaining the attention of every Devil present.

"Yes. After thinking about it, I have decided to approve this. We shall conduct voting. If this gets 90% accent, Jiraiya will be given the High-Class Devil Status. Let's begin. Those who are in agreement" he said and about 98% of hands rose not including his. As he is the judge of this and so should not participate unless it is a tie.

"Those who dissent" only a few hands rose and most who didn't assent chose to stay neutral.

"The proposal to give Jiraiya of the Sannin, the status as a High-Class Devil has been passed and will take effect immediately. The Elder Council orders Satan Beelzebub to prepare a set of Evil pieces for Jiraiya specifically after knowing his decision to stay as a Human or Devil. The Council is Dismissed" he said with a bang of his Gravel, everyone dispersed.

Scene Break

Not knowing anything that is being done in relation to his life, Naruto ate his Ramen. He got a sudden rush of memories and he raised his eyebrow at the contents.

It is a letter addressed to Jiraiya(him).

'To Jiraiya-sama,

We are ecstatic to inform you of your new position in the Devil faction. The Elder council has agreed to give you the status of High-Class Devil and if you agree, you will have the chance to reincarnate into a Devil and get an Evil Pieces set. The set is guaranteed either way. It is decided to give you the set upon your reply to this letter. If you choose to be a Devil, you will receive your set in a function held in a month at Christmas. If you chose to be a Human yet have the set then that will take a month or 2 more to create a new one with your DNA and Magic. Hope you will reply to it soon.

'Interesting. devils have decided to make their move in Jiraiya to get more favour and books huh. Really interesting. Let's see where it goes. thought Naruto to himself.

After eating dinner in some restaurant in Paris, Naruto was using his Byakugan to spy on couples and writing his books. He had prepared special editions for all the 3 factions but was waiting to add some more content before the release. His books were selling like hotcakes as soon as they were released and his printing press was running in profits. The Human media didn't know the owner of the publishing unit. If they had, he would be the richest in the world from the sales of his books from the last 2 years. He wrote furiously in his notepad. It is winter now and everyone is having sex like rabbits in heat. After completing the book, he went to his home in Japan which is a large mansion. He has homes in Underworld, in Lilith which is like a mansion and in Grigori part as well. 'I should look into buying a place to stay in Heaven as well but not as Angel though'. thought Naruto to himself. Not like their attempts to reincarnate will work anyway. He was flying lazily around Tokyo when a Magic Circle lit around his ear and a figure appeared in front of him.

"Hey, Naruto" came the voice of his first friend.

"Yo, Azazel. What's up" said the Blonde looking into the semi-transparent screen in front of him.

"Are you free now?" asked the man to which Naruto nodded.

"Come to my place, we need to talk"

"Kay," said Naruto and vanished.

Azazel's house

"Seems like you have not changed much, buddy," said the Fallen General. Naruto just smiled at him.

"You know how it is"

"So, what is the reason you called me here for," asked Naruto in a serious tone.

"Straight to the point eh. Well, it is complicated and I want to tell you in person"

"Spit it out already," said Naruto impatiently.

"Well, Kokabiel is acting out of the character"

"Like what"

"He is being silent in every meeting and I heard about a new organisation which had formed"

"Which is," Naruto asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Khaos..."

"Brigade"

"Yes, you heard me correct. I know of them. They consist of different faction members and is led by Ophis, the Ouroborus Dragon" said Naruto shocking Azazel.

"You have known. What else do you know" asked the man curiously.

"They have Old Satan Faction, some of your cronies and I don't know about Heaven but there are some humans who are excommunicated from the church and Sacred Gear wielders. Mainly the leader of this group of misfits. They call themselves the Hero Faction and the leader wields True Longinus" said Naruto and Azazel were shocked. A wielder of True Longinus, the most powerful Longinus created by God. He sighed.

"I got some news and I want to cash the favour you owe me," said Azazel and Naruto nodded.

"The news is that Rias Gremory and Sona Sitri whom I think you know, have decided to study in the Human world and as such we're going to study in Kuoh Academy in Kuoh town," said Azazel and Naruto's eyebrows rose. He understood where this was going but didn't interrupt the man.

"I can't send any of my subordinates there, as it is considered as Devil Territory. That would spark a war and the alternative is more gruesome. If something was to happen to both of them the underworld is not going to sit. You know well how much of a Sis-cons Sirzechs and Serafall is and the result will be absolute destruction" said the man with a heavy heart.

"As a man of experience of war and tired of it, I want you to go there and be there as a lookout. You fought in a war and knew how it would always end" he said in a tired tone and Naruto understood.

"I want you to join the school and keep an eye on them. If their life is in Danger, protect them without showing yourself if possible. As you are a Human, I think you will blend in well" he said with a smirk about his status as a Human.

"Well, that's going to be my life from now on then. A High School student" said Naruto. Azazel gained a perverted grin.

"Oh, I heard the girls there are hot. If possible bang some and get laid" he said with a Perverted giggle. Naruto laughed at that. 'This man reminds me so much of Jiraiya' thought the Blonde to himself.

"I will agree with you in this matter, Naruto," said Kurama.

'Your agreement is appreciated, buddy'

"How did you get me in then"

"Oh, it's simple. I just registered you as a student from Europe with Japanese origins coming to join the Prestigious Kuoh High for High school to live in your motherland. You have high grades in your Middle School and is skilled in hand to hand combat as you have learnt Karate and Taekwondo. And here are your ID's I submitted" Azazel gave Naruto the ID cards which had his details on them. Everything is good.

"You want me to change into a 16-year-old for this" asked Naruto incredulously.

"I doubt you would do that. I know you have some other abilities you hid from me. Use them or whatever. I don't want war and that's the end of the matter"

"Fine. I'll do it. But you only have 1 favour left, remember that" said Naruto to which Azazel nodded.

"How long do I have"

"It is December. I think the school started in September. It is 2 months late but you can manage. Just tell them some problems occurred while moving or something. Now shoo, go to school, child" said Azazel with a smirk.

"It's time for fun then," said Naruto with a grin.
