I'm writing because I'm inspired by some Light Novels out there (I read most of batoto recommendation and decided to write one for myself)

I used to write in verdana font in MS Word.

The size is scaled to medium since normal size seemed small, making it a bit hard to read.

PROLOGUE – A New World

It was eight o’clock in the morning. You can see a lot of people bustling through the town. At first glance, this scenery looks like a normal occurrence. If you take a closer look, some people actually wear weapons like they’re going to war.

*Haaa..... *Huuu.... (breathing in and out)

“So, this is it. The town of Cross.”

As I look around, I find a fountain nearby. I run as fast as I can and look down onto the fountain. A blue haired boy with a pair of blue eyes, long pointed ear and a slim face is reflected on the fountain surface.

“...Yess... definitely an Elf.”

*I put my fist up, and bring it down doing a proper gotcha pose

As soon as I confirmed my outer appearance, I open my status screen.

“Wha...why... WHY !!”

Frustration hit me like a big tidal wave washing over my smiling face and replace it with a depressing look. And thus, my first day started with a horrible mood.

This is “Eden Online”. The first MMORPG that utilize the “Full Dive Simulation System” as its base.

The year is 23 ACR short for “After Cyber Revolution”. ACR marks the beginning of full computing and simulation system 56 years after the end of World War 3 in 2411. After the world war ended, most country representative put a meeting to avoid another world war.

The conclusion come about to computing and simulating every situation (simulating every action and reaction made) so they can avoid most of the war seeds.

All military resources is minimized and most of the resources are spent toward advancing technology.

ACR or After Cyber Revolution was marked when the first simulation system introduced to the public.

At first, we can only move our hands and legs in the virtual space created by the simulation system. Then, it grows until now where we can operate our full body in the “Full Dive Simulation System”.

Entertainment grows along with the technology, creating multiple devices to help humans. And now we have what you called a VRMMORPG.

Eden Online was first introduced as a breakthrough for game entertainment system that allow the players to play at 4x speed which means 1 hour in the real world is 4 hours in Eden.

The advertising was done very well, they only aired about 10 times in TV, no banner or any other kind of ads, but its impact was huge.

Information and gossips about Eden Online spread out like a wildfire. If you find a forum network or chat, you'll find it to be the most accessed thread / hot topic.

One week earlier.

A boy with a black short hair is sitting in front of his computer.

In the computer screen, "Eden Online Official Website" is typed in bold letters at the top left corner. He slide the screen using his hand. It now shows a few videos with their title written on top of it.

He picked "Gameplay Sneak Peek" from the page. The screen change to full screen view.

A video shows the inside of Eden Online. A warrior like character appears in the middle of the screen with his status displayed on his right. His HP and MP bars can be seen on top left corner showing 100%/100% on both bars.

The character moves to the open field.

A goblin appeared and start hitting the warrior. The 100%/100% on the HP bar change every time the goblin hit.

78%/100%

66%/100%

The parameter on the right side rise bit by bit.

The goblin stopped and the warrior starts hitting. A small number appeared every time the warrior hit.

'Hoo, so that's how it goes. Every parameters are like level, they rise if you take certain action. This should be interesting!'

The fire in his heart was lit. His passion for gaming can be felt from the way he looked at the video. His eyes were glittering.
