《The L10Ns》Side Story 3- Moren & Yisra

“Two months, three days” Yisra wistfully says to the skies as she walks down the stairs and hands Moren the broom.
“Good morning Yisra” He begins to happily brush the stairs with his usual effort, while his face is scrunched up in thought.
Sitting down on the fortieth step, she lets out a loud yawn.
She takes her time in noticing it, as she first does some stretching and more yawning before actually looking at Moren sweep.
“What’s on your mind today? She asks with mild curiosity as per usual
“Things” He quickly answers, immediately catching her attention.
Moren always told her what he was thinking; whether it was about the man, the people who entered the church or about his goddess.
But for him to not tell her something, even more so to leave it as vague as ‘things’ surely piped her interest.
“Things huh? Just what things?” She leaned slightly towards him, almost looking ready to pounce at him.
“Just thinking about Cherishment day” He spills the beans, continuing to sweep without pause, albeit slightly more fervently
“Cherishment day?” She cocks her head in confusion
“It’s a day where many couples come to be. It is also regarded as Hert’s Day, since he is the god of love…” He begins to talk about the festivities that happen in honor of Hert, pointing out how each race has different types.
However he doesn’t get far in his explanation as the sun hits the first step causing Yisra to stand up, as she has morning duties to try attend.
Watching her leave, he sees a ray of light point towards her, covering part of her small back.
Peeking towards the sun and then back at Yisra, the ray of light is somehow remaining on her.
“Yisra” He calls out, causing her to swerve round with a raised eyebrow “Would you like to have a wander around the market sometime later today?” His voice quavers slightly as he speaks, but he manages to hold on.

“That sounds like a good idea…but you’re stuck to these stairs for a reason I still don’t know...” She shrugs “So I guess I’ll just have to go to the market by myself”
She turns back around and skips up the last few steps, stopping and turning once more at the door.
“Plus you’re naked”
She disappears back inside, hiding the slight smile that spread across her face.
Meanwhile, Moren watched her leave and slowly walked up to the forty second step, sitting down with a sigh.
Someone was giggling at him, he was sure of it. But he wasn’t sure whether it was goddess or mortal.
