《League Of The Void》Reality, I Am Back!

After we (whisp-san and me) finished our business with the void entity, i was at a loss once again. How do you leave the void? I asked my newly appointed guide.
[That is easy, girl. You still have they key, he never took it, did he? Just think of something that feels real. Anything, but think hard.]
(AN: from now on, the guide in her mind talks like this [..] so it is easily recognised who is speaking)
Oh, okay?! Coffee. Hot warm nice smelling coffee. Refreshing my soul. Oh coffee mine, lead me to the light! I smirked. That enough?
[Haha, yeah, should suffice. Just hold on to that thought and feeling of joy.]
Sure, guide-san.. Black liquid who caresses my throat. Who warms my belly, ignites my soul. Where art thou?
Whispy and me started laughing internally in unison. Oh man, it feels good to laugh. The stillness of the void was bliss, but indifferent. Things like coffee and sunshine are much better.
A tiny ray of light fell before me through the emptiness.
[It is working, concentrate!]
As i mentally chugged endless cups of caffeine filled black gold, the ray grew wider, until it split in the middle. There were things on the other side. Real stuff! With shape and color and detail! It looked exactly like i remembered the small alley where i exited reality years ago. Oh, and people! I catched a few glimpses of walker-bys in the bigger alley this small space split off from.
Excited and fucking happy i jumped through the light and quickly turned around, only to see a door leading into darkness fall shut.
"Oh, it is you, isn't it?" Great. Not that jerking around in shock thing again. How long have i been back? Like two seconds?

I slowly turned around. O'Ra (Goddess of light)? Fuck me.
"Yeah, it's me." Now leave me alone please? There is some beverage i need to go drink.
"I am glad you found your way back. I thought you wer.." She stopped, irritated. "You are of the void!?" O'Ra exclaimed, surprised.
"Huh?" i, too, was baffled. Of course i came back from the void. That is were SHE told me i would end up when going through the gate all those years ago.
"Your title. No, not only that. Your race? What the fuck did you do, girl?" She almost shouted.
What the fuck?
"Eh, i did not do anything." I protested.
"Yeah, sure, then why are you no longer human? And now a messenger from the abyss?"
"You mean 'Harbinger of the Void'?" i provoked her, jokingly.
"That is no joking matter, child!" Wow. Now she is actually shouting. People started to peek into the alley while passing by. So much for gathering attention.
"I met some.. eh.. guy on the other side and.. eh.. he and i talked. Now i am like this." I tried to calm her down by explaining a bit, conveniently leaving out my split personality and the quest.
"Who? No, don't tell me, it is of no matter. So.. change has come, at last.. ..hasn't it?" She was deep in thought now, whispering more to herself than to me.
"That is what he said, too. Can i ask you something, oh goddess of light?"
She absently waved with her hand. "Sure, child. What is it?"
"What is the league?" Her head perked up and she looked me dead in the eyes. Her usually gentle face distorted in a mix of fear and anger. Even her blue eyes (last time i saw her), turned a dark violet. Her whole aura, a pleasant warmth before, turned into unbearable heat.

She mustered me for a second before growling. "What did you just say?" What the hell woman, chill out. Calm her down? Yeah, better clam her down. Can't have a goddess hate me.
"Look, i am sorry, forget what i said." My weak attempt to overdraw what i asked failed miserably.
"No, NO. What did you just say? The league? How do you know about the league, child?"
"I don't. It is just something.. eh.. i overheard once." Will she believe me? Please, believe me!
"Is that so? Never mention it again. Not to the gods or higher beings. Or you might get in trouble. Then, on the other hand, your title will cause you trouble with everything that is divine, too. Even i will not help you any more. So just go. And be careful." She was suspicious, but left it be. Lucky me, for once.
Dismissed, just like that, i hesitated for a second, then, inspired by my inner-guide, rushed past her.
[That was dangerous, girl. She is dangerous to us. For now at least. It is good you did not mention me, or the name of the one who blessed you. Fortunately she can't see the blessing, only the title.]
Yeah, but what the hell was that? Is the league really that big of a secret?
[No. But it is something mortals should not know about and the gods do not talk about. So leave it. When you grow strong, you will know eventually.]
Aha. I take you word for it. One other thing though. Why do you always call me girl? I have a name, you know.
[Girl seems more appropriate. But if you wish i can call you Miss Alira. I am your subordinate for now, after all.]
Just Alira is fine. Do you have a name other than your folks (Sh'ra)?
[Just call me Whispy, like you did before. Or guide. Haha i do not really care.]
Fine then, Whisp-Oh-Whispy, great guide of the gods. I mocked him a bit. Serves him right for stalking me from the inside my entire life.
