《Title Pending Adventures of Jackson and Barbara in another world!》Bonus Chapter: Barbara

This is something I wanted to do after the first arc, so here we are.
I want to take some time between chapters to talk about my characters, my thoughts on them and just some fun facts. So, who do I start with? Well, not Jackson, that's for sure. His summary would just be "He's based on Anime protagonists."
No, I'll start with my favorite character in this little story, El- I mean Barbara.
I asked before, if anyone could guess who Barbara and the Berserker were based on. Well, firstly she's based on Berserker Lancelot from Fate/Zero. For those who never seen the anime, he is a straight badass and my favorite Servant in the Fate series. Barb gets her Berserker aesthetic from him, both being black knights able to use a wide range of weapons.
The second character she's based on is Spider-Man's Carnage. I'm a massive Carnage fan. Barbara gets the thing living in her blood from him, her hair color and the ability to create weapons from her blood. She also gets some of his personality, but that's for later.
I guess it no surprise she's my favorite character as she's based on two of my old-time favorites.
As for her development, Barb evolved from an old idea I had. It was about a dude with pretty much the same powers except he got stronger whenever he got hurt and was nearly god like when he was out matched. I never wrote this character down, being illiterate at the time, but the idea stayed with me. Later, when I was dealing with some writer's block and reading a lot of "Transported to another world" I started to build a scene in my head. That scene of course was the opening to this story. Barb just fit so perfectly, then before I knew it, I was day dreaming about her past and what kind of character I wanted her to be.

With the exception of one part that I need to rewrite, her character is pretty much of a loyal puppy. I also push her into a few jokes that I might have to remove as some might find them offensive. I guess we'll see what type of mood I'm in when it comes to the later chapters.
Well, as this is a bonus chapter and all, I feel no shame in asking you, the reader, a quest! Well, maybe two...
Should I keep this up, putting bonus chapters in about characters or the world? If so, who or what should I do next? Word count, what are your thoughts on it? Should I try to make chapters longer, maybe combined short chapters together or is the length fine for the most part?
Well, bye for now.

An Advance in Time
In the year 2050, nanotech was invented that allowed humanity to do what it does best: ignore reality. Jason was a project manager at Razor, Inc. where those simulations were crafted and improved every day. That is, until an accident with a power outage and a poorly-coded backup protocol saw his consciousness transferred to a server and his body in a coma for the foreseeable future. With the corporate vultures circling around what they see as a new piece of company software, Jason finds himself in one of the simulations he used to design. If you enjoy kingdom-building, strategy, technological progression and big challenges, you’ll likely enjoy An Advance In Time. Maitbudi
Fermboi was a man of one ideal: make the weak strong. When his rebellion against the king proved futile, he was given another chance at life. This time, he sought to do nothing after realizing the hopelessness of it all. Aventina wanted to do nothing more than to follow her father’s footsteps. On a retaliation raid against her tribe’s enemies, her brothers perished. Spared by a leader of her enemies, she returned home to find herself the chief of her tribe. Bolahulag, half-civilized and half-barbarian, half-lowborn and half-royal. Raised in his mother’s civilized tent in a sea of barbaric shelters, Bolahulag was hesitant to follow his paternal way of life. After a battle between a civilized king and his father, Bolahulag was sent as hostage to learn the economy and military of the nation his father defeated. Derai knew nothing more than being an orphan, but when a merchant took her in, the world she thought impossible soon became a reality. Monghe, stuck in a school exemplifying strength for most of his life, began to understand what he needed to do in order to be strong instead of weak. Story is mostly about nothing. Fermboi does most of the nothing. Aventina does most of the military things. Bolahulag does a balance of economy and military. Derai focuses on economy. Monghe spitfires what it means to be a typical hero. Hopefully this is enough to give a general idea to people who don’t like going blind aside from the work being purportedly “good.” Who am I kidding, my writing is terrible. I hope it improves though.
