I sigh. I guess it was appropriate protocol since I’d be playing the part of the figurehead, but I think he just wanted to see me in that outfit again. “Yeah, sure, I suppose it is proper protocol.” I then hang up, setting the phone aside.
Yet again I don a red dress shirt, a pair of pinstripe shorts, and a black suit jacket, throwing a blue and green tie on as well, feeling like a typical salaryman as I walked out the door. Another day, another dollar-or so the saying goes.
