《Back to Pokemon and Earth》Chapter 8: Pre-Ascended Form

Archer Sullivan Pokessence Limit: 100 Ess Not Included: 5 Ess Height: 5'00" Weight: 100.1 Ghost: 80 Ess (80%) Birthday: February 4, ???? Age: 17 Dragon: 5 Ess (5%) Eyes: Black Poison: 5 Ess (5%) Hair: Black Dark: 5 Ess (5%) Skin Complexion: Brown Fairy: 5 Ess (5%) Registration Number: 147323847ARNSOSU Unknown: 5 Ess Citizenship: Kanto Recommendation: Ghost-related Training Five Paths: Ghost-Dragon; Ghost-Poison Other Findings: Error Ghost-Dark; Ghost-Fairy; Ghost (Specialist)
Ghost?! What is this, is this any good?!
Archer moved back and forth, then sat down, stood up once again, and went to the other table and took a seat. Mumbling to himself, he couldn't make out of the result, him being a Ghost-type dominant.
What skill could I learn, phasing through the walls? That would be awesome, but I don't know if I need to keep banging myself against the walls to learn the skill. Hmmm, maybe to make people laugh like what Haunter did to Sabrina? Well, ghosts are tricksters. Uhm, Lick?! I'd rather not go into hardcore stuff. And what's with the Fairy Type and Dragon Type? And what the heck, Unknown?! Poison, maybe because of my poisonous tongue? Dark, well I am surprise that it was just 5% and not higher. Fairy? Like hell, maybe the Reader has seen some innate goodness inside me? And Dragon? All I can think of is my power when I eat. Unknown maybe is related to me not being originally here in this world. And I bet the scientists would love to get a piece of me, crap.
What would my starter Pokemon be, since most of what they can offer is not Ghost-type, assuming that what they offer is just like that in the game, anime and manga. Perhaps there will be some twists and surprises, and they actually have some Ghost Pokemon available? Do I have to travel to Lavender Town to get one? Or do I have to let someone help me catch my first Pokemon...at the Graveyard?!
He frowned as he read the findings, noticing that something strange was written at the lowest portion of the report. Other Findings: Error? What's that? I could still figure out this '5 Ess Unknown Not included'. My guess would be is that 5 Ess Unknown is not included in the percent calcuIation of Pokessence Limit. I should better ask Mr. Ritchie for help.
Archer folded the paper and went to Richie, who was busy with some documents, signing and all. He coughed for a bit and said, "Uhm...Mr. Ritchie, could I ask you some questions? I have some doubts and I needed them to be clarified."
Ritchie stopped working and looked at Archer. "Sure, Archer. Don't worry, everything you will say is confidential, and your secret is safe with me."
Archer could just stare at him, confused, then understood that he was referring to his Unknown Ess and his fabrication of memory loss. Sighing with relief, he took a seat and gave the record to Ritchie.
"Thank you, Mr. Ritchie. That really helped ease my mind. Uhm, is it normal for anyone to have Unknown Ess?"
Ritchie tapped his fingers against the table while looking at Archer's record, before replying, "Normal...no, it is not."
Fuck!
"But you're not the only one who had Unknown Essence. Upon seeing your result, I immediately searched on several cases that had made some of my peers vexed lately. To be exact, nine different cases, spread all over the World. Are you interested to know?"
Nine? Are they the nine volunteers of the Dimension Travel?
Ritchie did not wait for Archer to answer, he simply went on and said, "The rare case is that all these findings were dated just yesterday. And do you know what's more bizaare about it?"
"What?"
"Just like you, everyone of them have a Pokessence Limit similar to that of a 5-year-old. 17-year-olds having 5-year-old Pokessence limit, do you hear me? Five, that's the age where a kid is scanned and registered, and starts his journey as a Pokemon Trainer. Interesting, isn't it?"
Seeing that Archer was just silent, Ritchie continued, "Just like you, everyone have the same result pattern: A type that has 80%, four known types having 5% each, and surprisingly, an unknown type of 5 Ess. Coincidentally, this unknown pokessence of yours, as well as the nine others, is rather very similar to that of a certain nefarious entity. Do you know what's confusing me more, Archer?"
Archer shook his head. "I don't know."
"A person, before they are exposed to Pokemon, has 100 Ess as his Pokessence Limit, but all of you have 105 Ess, that is 5 Ess higher than the usual, but mysteriously, that 5 Ess is not included in the total Pokessence Limit. This then leads me to another question, Archer, and I hope that you could answer me as truthfully as you can."
Archer gulped loudly, his face and back covered with sweat. He could feel that his hands were shaking. "Sure, Mr. Ritchie."
"What are you? Wait, maybe I should rephrase my question." Ritchie stood up and hold his knuckles while seemingly exercising his neck. "What's your connection with the Plankas? Are you not from this world, just like them?"
Why did this turn into a possible torture scenario?

Giratina and Palkia
...Are you serious, Dialga?...
...Yes, I am afraid so...
...What exactly is happening in the Physical World?...
... My roar of time is being suppressed by an unknown power, Giratina. Even Palkia can't open the space and enter the Physical World. We suspected that Arceus was angry again, and this was his doing as his punishment to humanity even after I brought back Ash and his friends to the past to correct humanity's mistake. But I was wrong...
...Why is that so?...
...Because I went to his place and confronted him, despite the possibility of offending our creator. Arceus himself is being oppressed by an unknown, Giratina. It is as if someone as strong as Arceus wants to merge his world to our world...no, more like trying to consume Arceus' creations...
...Arceus can't defeat the foreign entity?...
...Yes, it can't defeat him. More like that foreign One can overpower Arceus but is still biding his time...
...Is it related to Deoxys?...
...No...
...What about the Pokemon World? Can everyone defeat the alien invaders?...
...Hard to say. Even I can't see the future. Some kind of power is limiting what I can do in my own territory...
...Are the Lake Guardians okay?...
...Azelf, Mesprit and Uxie decided to use their powers to strengthen the will of both Human and Pokemon through their Psychic Pokessences, not only in Sinnoh, but all over the world, yet it is still not enough. Their Pokessences are being used up everyday, and with Arceus out of the picture, all we can do is depend on ourselves if we want to save this world...
...For how long do you think the trio could endure?...
...At least for 10 years, that's my rough estimate. It could be longer, or shorter...
...How about Regigigas? What's he doing right now?...
...Someone has to wake him up. As you know, he is the only Ascended Ones inside the Physical World, the Ten'i Village, and we couldn't contact him, at all. The trio couldn't as well...
...The others...
...Lugia and the three Ascended Birds, Ho-Oh and the three Ascended Beasts, Landorus and the Forces of Natures, Latios and Latias of the Eon Duo, Cobalion and the Swords of Justice, Kyurem and the Tao Trio, Rayquaza and the Weather Trio...all of them decided to follow Arceus' plan...
...And what is his plan?...
...In order for them to enter the Physical World, they would have to revert back to their pre-Ascended forms to meet their Chosen Ones...
...What? Their forms before they become Legendaries?...
...Yes...It was the time when we still lived away from Humans... I could still remember my baby form...
...But, that would mean...
...Yes, their memories will be erased...
...What if they will be killed by the alien invaders?...
...Then half of their power would be lost...we should not worry for their original bodies would be frozen here, and only half of it will be sent to the Physical World...
...When do you think will they regain their memories after they reverted, Palkia?...
...When they Max Evolve, some of it will definitely return, but not all of it, like fragments...
...So everyone is doing their part, huh...
...Yes. Giratina. Now, I am asking you, what is your decision then? Would you still stay at the Reverse World and ignore the things that are happening in the Physical World? We know that this is the duty of Dialga and I but we ask of you to help us and defeat these foreign...God and his minions...
..Hmph...Then what can I do to help? I've tried going back to the World through the Spear Pillar but I couldn't...
...Same with us, Giratina. All the Ascended Ones could not enter the Physical World, the reason I don't know...
...Then should I follow them?...
...It is up to you...
...Where will I go after I revert to my Pre-Ascended form?...
...You will be with the Birds in Kanto...Only through your Pre-ascended form you can enter the Physical World, with the help of Dialga's Power and mine...
...Are the Mythicals doing anything about it?...
...As far as I know, Mew decided to get out of the Tree of Beginning, maybe to find Lucario, I don't know...as for the others, I have no knowledge...the only good thing is Darkrai, for now, is not tormenting the people with nightmares anymore...
...Ha ha ha...Well, I wish I could meet Ash in my pre-ascended form, to give him my thanks in saving my life once, but I guess we're not compatible...
...I know, but there is one who matches up to you...the illegal one...some of the Legendaries have already Pre-ascended and met their respective Chosen ones...
...Him? Ha ha ha...then I guess I'll have to give this book to him after I revert...Is he one of the chosen by Arceus?...
...Nope...
...I thought so. Anyway, who's acting as the messenger?...
...Victini...
...Ah, okay. If Victini gives this book, let him say that his guardian's name is Entei...
...Why...
...I have my reason. Anyway, this book will help him absorb some of my Pokessence, hopefully making him more compatible with me...
...Okay. Anything else?...
...None. May Arceus' blessings be with me...
...Yes, Giratina...

Giratina and Cyrus
...It's been a while, Cyrus, right?. How many years were you staying here in the Reverse World?...
"I'm not sure. I lost track of time."
...Cyrus, I'm allowing you to go back to where you are, just remember the deal. Just don't continue doing what you are planning to do...
"Giratina, I am what I am. I just desire to build my world and rule it, along with my faithful Saturn, Mars and Jupiter."
...But what world are you going to rule if the Pokemon World is about to be destroyed?...
"What do you mean?"
...It is what it is...This aliens are threatening your world, Cyrus. Help us in defeating them, maybe you will find what you seek as you protect your world...
"Protect the world..."
...Yes, protect it. What would you do after you go back?...
"Gather my team once again, and let the rest of the World know that Team Galactic is not yet finished!"
...You are the only human who knows the real situation, Cyrus...The foreign entity is not aware of you , a human being living outside the Physical World...And of a course, that person as well...
"Hmmm..."
...If you go back, please help a certain someone...
"Who?"
...The one they call the illegal one...
"How?"
...Do this...

"What are you? Wait, maybe I should rephrase my question." Ritchie stood up and hold his knuckles while seemingly exercising his neck. "What's your connection with the Plankas? Are you not from this world, just like them?"
Why did this turn into a possible torture scenario?
Archer backed out as his arms raised. "Mr. Ritchie, please do calm...down first before we talk."
"I'm calm. I'm just trying to do some warm-ups, maybe I will have to do some strenuous activity while talking with you."
"Okay. Mr. Ritchie. Yes, I'm not of this world, but no way in hell I am connected with the hideous Plankas. I bear you no harm."
"Go on."
"I am from the world called Earth."
"Earth? Like he TV show drama?"
"More or less. Just like you, we also have a TV show that is titled Pokemon, which includes Ash and the rest as its characters."
Ritchie scratched his chin, as if ruminating something, his eyes twinkling. "Interesting. INTERESTING! Ha, ha, ha. This is more like it, I am sure you are telling the truth right now."
"How come?"
"I've just used some skill, after all, I'm a Pokemon Trainer as well," Ritchie said. "Let's contact with each other, do you have any xtransceiver?"
"No."
"I'll give you one." Ritchie pulled out a watch-like gadget from his drawer and gave it to Archer. "Take it, this is a gift from me."
"Okay, sure. But are you in anyway related to Ash Ketchum?"
"...I don't want to talk about it."
Did something happened to Ash?!

"This has been a tedious night, Archer." Shane yawned, picking his eyes. "Do you have a place to stay in?"
Archer stopped for a few seconds, before replying, "None yet. But there's an inn we have passed earlier. I guess I just have to rent a room."
"It's alright. You can stay in my - "
"No, I'd rather be alone, Shane, no offense." Archer cut him off. "There's so much thing going on, I think I needed to take time to digest everything. I hope you can understand."
"It's understandable. So where should we meet tomorrow?"
"At the Sanctuary? Maybe by 10 AM?"
"Okay, at the sanctuary, 10 AM. So see you then?"
"Yes, see you tomorrow, Shane."
Archer controlled his emotions as he saw Shane walked away. Soon enough, he could not see Shane anymore, and Archer turned around and paced towards the inn. While he was moving, he noticed a silverish, spiky-haired man coming out of one of the houses, approaching him as their eyes met.
They were now standing infront of each other, a man and a young adult, under the bright moon. The winds suddenly howled and a bird-like Pokemon landed beside him. He waved his hand and introduced himself, "Hi, I'm Cyrus."

Innocently playing into the unknown visitor's tempting hand, the boy agrees to a deal hopelessly intertwined with a journey like no other and is sent to the mysterious and massive city of New Dwarden. Book 6: The Frenzied Tide Synopsis: A sword hangs above the Eastern Territories. The Human God, progenitor of all life, the direct cause of the beastfolk genocide, has made his will known to the rulers of the East — make peace with the God of Water, or be destroyed in three months. Gemini, who has long found a homeland in the form of Ark City, has spent years defending it with friends and family alike. However, an inexorable end is approaching.
