Though at the same time she was kind of happy that he was over protective, she still didnt want to be smothered. Though she also knew that Solomon wasnt entirely to blame since its in his being to be protective, Loretta just didnt know how to feel so she went with default dis belief.

It was now Solomons turn to have an expression of dis belief, though in a manner similar to Loretta he went from disbelief to happiness to not blaming Loretta all the way back to dis belief.

Loretta just shook her head and decided to drop the matter while asking him to do the same.

" Yeah whatever, maybe we should go on our date earlier. Stop all this fightin talk. "

" Yeah screw it lets go. Ill grab some money off of Master if you want to prepare your saddle. "

Seventeen hours later and Solomon and Loretta ride up onto elf territory, where the grass is always green and the ass is always flat. ( I tried my best to make a pun please excuse the cringe. )

" It always amazes me how the grass doesnt die on the roads around here. Anyways babe Im going to go buy some world tree wood, you go book us an inn. "

Like this both walked onto seperate dirt roads each in search of their own goals, Solomon world tree wood Loretta a decent inn.

' Now if I was wood from an acient powerful tree where would I get sold. I doubt any street stalls would have any, or at least not enough. I guess I can ask a local. "

Solomon sees a tall djinni man walking down the grassy dirt road and decides to ask him.

" Sure what kind of tree do you want it off of? There are various types of world trees. "

" I didnt know that, then I guess I want something fragrant and easy to carve, maybe easy to enchant. "

" Hmm then youll want some olive wood variant. That is some of the best stuff around for carving and enchanting. If you want to buy any youll have to walk about 4 blocks that way and then youll see a store that should have a few specialty woods like that. It will be fairly expensive though so make sure you have enough, the owner doesnt like people wasting his time. "

' Even though I never worked with olive wood in my last life I heard that it was a pretty nice to work with. Itll definetly make a good pipe for me to use. I hope I have enough money for the wood though, itd suck if I didnt. "

Solomon follows the directions that the djinni gave him sees a huge brick and wood store. The store is a perfect mix of red brick and a bone-ish white, with a red sign on the front that reads " I've got wood. "

' What a charming name for a store, I can tell that the owner is a man of great culture. '

When Solomon walks in he is greeted by a tall thin elf. She is at least 7' tall and has very little feminine charm that one would hope from an elf. The only reason he know she is a female is her slightly wide hips and 1' long blade like ears. Modern culture was pretty wrong about elves being life loving tree huggers, the elves in Solomons new can be apex hunters, though usually they are much like humans and stay in cities. Elves also have little difference between genders and if isnt wasnt for the purpose of breeding there would likely be zero difference.

" Hello sir how may I help you today? "

" Yes I would like to purchase some olive wood of the world tree variance. "

" Well we dont have much, may I ask what you need it for? "

" I just want to make a pipe, maybe do a little enchanting on it. "

While he waits Solomon starts to think about what he can do for Loretta on his date.

' I wonder what I can do for Loretta on this date. Odviously I will take her out to dinner, then maybe a bit of clothes shopping, after that maybe I can give her a massage and brush her mane. She always likes when I give her a massage. '

While thinkingsuch thoughts the female elf walks back out to the front from the back. She was carrying a few blanks of wood that dont actually look that different from regular wood.

" Alright sir I have a decent sized branch that should be plenty for a pipe, it will be 7 diamond. "

' Thats another thing modern entertainment got wrong. The universal currency is Mana minerals various types of expensive gems from my old world.The Mana minerals include diamonds, emeralds, rubies, and multiple others. All are stuffed with Mana to be counted as actual currency and so that people cant have basically free money if they get lucky. Though mom and dad have told me that there are big gangs that will purchase raw minerals and then use self infuse them for easy money. I guess it can be something to look into if I get good at infusing.

Hearing that Solomon looked like he was about to blow his top off. Loretta seeing her mans reaction tried once again to pull him away sadly to no avail.

Solomon hearing that instantly started releasing killing intent dense enough to bend the wood planks that made the restraunt.

Then millions of years from now I am going to settle down with Loretta and we can become that super powerful hermit couple that trains the main character. When that time comes Ill laugh about this situation while sitting in the ruins of this country. '

" Listen Solomon there is no reason to be downcast alright, when you reach you physical limit I am sure that you will be able to handle level 9's. So when you are level 2 if you stay on the limit path and succed, you should be able to slaughter level 9's like a farmer with grass. At level 3 if you are still at it then you might be able to barely kill a level 10. Maybe, but dont count on it. "

" Thanks dad, Ill be honest I was starting to question my path, so this is very handy. Now I just cant wait to grow up. "

Solomon truly was appreciative of his fathers guidance, and felt the warmth that made him nearly want to cry. But Solomon didnt do such an embarrasing thing.
