“ah…it hurts..”

The bright light was blinding her eyes, so she covered her face with her arm, but soon her eye widened when she came back to consciousness.

“ha..? what is my left eye is covered…?”

She couldn’t see from the left side, it was completely dark from there. Eloria got up and sat down, as she stretched and yelled from her brother but unexpectedly, no one came. She waited for almost half an hour but no one came. It was odd, since xilver would usually appear out of nowhere whenever she would call him. As to the reason why, she got out of her bed to see what was going on. She got up and walked out towards the door, but when she passed through her mirror, she froze.

“….what…”

she started to tremble and walked back to the mirror, to see exactly what she had become. When the mirror revealed her face, the horror on her face was clear. Her left eye, was covered by black roses and the veins beneath her eyes were pure black and could be seen from her skin. To her horror, she screamed. She screamed as tears of green started to flow from her and the door slammed open.

“Eloria!!”

Xilver burst in along with another girl with hair as blue as the night sky. When they saw the collapsed eloria crying with emerald green like tears, xilver rushed to her and hugged her tight in his arms, hushing her.

“that wasn’t you eloria, the person you saw in the mirror wasn’t you, so please…”

He pleaded as his grip tightened and the girl with him that had entered moved closer to them. She tapped on xilver’s shoulder and he glanced at her, nodding, and stopped hugging eloria. He stood up and patted eloria’s head, leaving the room. Before leaving the room, he looked back at the frightened eloria and the girl nodding at him.

“ah, that’s right.”

The lady turned back and smiled at eloria, with a slight head bow and leaned her hand forward while saying

“to the imperial general of the iliakós and Νύχτα, may the moonlight king embrace your dreams till the solarian sun welcome you to a new day. Im the third wonder of the iliakos empire, maeves chloris. Please address me casually.”

She said as she made eloria sit down on her bed and patted eloria’s back.

“everything sure is confusing, isn’t it?”

She spoke gently and calmly, and her presence gave off a warm and soothing aura. When eloria had stopped sobbing, she wiped her tears and looked at maeve, and when she did, her eyes widened. Around maeve was something she couldn’t figure out, but it was dangerous. Something terrifying was behind her but she was already so exhausted that rather then telling maeve about it, she spoke directly to it.

“you there, behind this lady. Get the hell out of my room, im not in the condition to deal with you.”
