《Thog: The barbarian》Chapter 2

Tracy went strait to the adventurer's guild. Not that he was all that eager to turn in the quest, but because Thog just skipped inside, the kind receptionist is quite patient with Thog, but he was not willing to chance getting kicked out of another frequented institution.
Thog having shipped in to the guild as he often did, waltzed strait up to the counter. And by strait to the counter, I meant that he literally skipped strait up to the counter ignoring anything that might be in the way as if they didn't exist.
The adventurers who just got trampled were about to say something to him, but their boss stood in there way.
I would suggest you ignore what just happened, I am also not that happy about being trampled on but this is Thog we are talking about, and I really don't want to see more of my underlings thrown through a wall again. -Adventurer's boss
The adventurers noticing the name Thog started sweating cold drops of fear. They had heard stories about Thog, and if any one of the numerous stories they had heard of the half-ork that had tried to drag many 10' tall frightened dragons in to the guild that was about the same size as the guild were true, it was best to stay out of the way.
Thog greats pretty desk lady! Look, Thog has new pets! -Thog
The desk lady smiles, at first she was quite scared by the half-ork, especially since the first time he had a dragon in tow, but as it turns Thog was just like a giant green child.
Good evening Thog, and what sort of pet are you going to show me today? -Pretty desk lady
Thog has baby goblins! This one is Gobgob, and this one is Hobgob! -Thog

Thog showed the pretty desk lady each frightened goblin in turn.
Oh! So does this mean you have completed your task? -Pretty desk lady
She looks at the goblin children, they were kind of ugly but that made them a bit endearing. She did not personally like goblins, but it was better then most of the things he had tried to show her. Especially the goul that he had previously shown her, the goul was covered in maggots, and was chewing on Thog's arm, not that he seemed to mind it.
That's great Thog, by the way, where is Tracy? -Pretty desk lady
Thog looks around, then panics a bit. Thog has left his best buddy behind. Just as he was about to run out the door, a very tired elven paladin walks in the door wheezing a bit.
Thog! For the lords sake, please stop running off! -Tracy
Tracy steps up to the counter, and bows to the pretty desk lady. The pretty desk lady blushes a bit, she had quite a large crush on the paladin, not that Tracy seemed to notice.
"Good evening Lena, I hope Thog has not bothered you overly much?"-Tracy
"N... No! Thog has been perfectly fine!- Lena
"Yes! Thog just show pretty desk lady Hobgob, and Gobgob!" -Thog
Thog raises the baby goblins in turn, who seem quite frightened, and out of sorts as you would expect from two children who have seen their family tossed aside and been kidnapped by someone able to bash their heads in on accident.
"Yes yes, in any case, might I accept payment for this job soon, as I am quite tired and wish to put up for the night" -Tracy
"Yes, right away! Umm....." -Lena
Lena fidgets a bit.
"Yes, what is it?" -Tracy

"Oh... Um the guild leader wishes to speak with you, I was told to tell you whenever you got back" -Lena
Tracy sighs once again, this could only mean more trouble, potentially from Thog wrecking something once again. Tracy gives Thog a dirty look, who smiles brightly in return.
"Oh, very well. If I might enquire what this is about" -Tracy
"I believe he said something about a mission only you could handle" -Lena
At this, Tracy sighed once more, usually these missions led to dangerous monsters, that Thog seems quite fond of. The last mission was against a lich that Thog decided to keep. That one lasted a month of discomfort for both the paladin, and the lich. At some point the lich begged Tracy to free him, and in exchange he would mend his ways, the lich currently works as a teacher at the local orphanage.
"Yes, I will go see him, but do you think it could wait a day, I am after all quite tired." -Tracy
"Yes, he had said that it was not that urgent, in any case here is your reward for the elite goblin subjugation!" -Lena
Tracy accepted the bag, which was heavy with gold
"Yes, well I will take my leave then, Thog is getting impatient." -Tracy
Thog at that time was hugging and stroking a goblin baby much to its dismay, Hobgob if Tracy recalls correctly, though he can't tell them apart that well.
As they leave the guild, one could here many a sigh of relief.
"Come back soon!" -Lena

Dungeon Core Chat Room.
This is a slower-paced "experiment and dungeon building" web novel that tries to use the idea of peer-to-peer communication with Dungeon Cores instead of Dungeon to slave monster communication to break up the detailed dungeon building. Rank 1 description: (minimum met for system initialization...detailed description as follows) Each race was given a system by the gods to make up for their shortcomings and balance their place in this world. Humans: Abysmally bad at understanding and using magic unable to use more than the lowest of magic were given the "Skill System" magic in the form of premade skills with use, study, and mastery tied to experience. Elves: Intuitively understand magic and have long lives leading to vast knowledge and skill in their chosen fields. However, as a species, they have nearly zero sex drive and less than low fertility, so they were gifted the "World Tree System" with experience gained through the care of natural areas – gifting the chance of children to increase their numbers without dirty copulation. All “natural” or “wild” monsters are given an "Evolution system" designed around killing and consuming as many creatures as possible, slowly increasing strength and, at thresholds, allowing mutations to alter them multiple times. Dungeon cores are different. Unlike humans, they can see, manipulate and live off mana. Unlike Elves, they naturally crystallize after extended periods of time in high mana level areas. However, they cannot easily move or communicate and typically go insane without companionship. As a species other than the odd eccentric they are unimaginative. Brute forcing solutions without the drive to truly innovate. Thus they have been gifted with the "Dungeon Connection System" a magical version of the internet accessible by their peers that allows them to barter and sell: bait, traps, monsters, and knowledge, as well as entertain each other with “adventure streams” using exciting recorded battles and humorous reels of arrogant chumps biting off more than they can chew to often fatal effects. This is the casual story of a dungeon unluckily spawned far from potential adventurers forced to innovate beyond its peers to find its place in this world. Rank 2 Description: Justification. I've been on a dungeon core kick for months and while I love the genre – it's sparse with entries. Often the forced conflict gets repetitive and frantic solving of threats "power levels" the protagonist to god levels to progress the plot – taking away the nice steady progression fantasy I'm looking for. (Progression in this story is linked to how strong of monsters/traps/whatever he can create not his "level"...this is demonstrated by some of his newer monsters beating his older monsters not with discrete "this monster has 10 attack this one has 40") Additionally, the focus on 3rd parties with their drama takes away from the reason I’m reading dungeon core novels in the first place – I'm looking for magical crafting, experimentation and kingdom building – not defence from higher and higher levelled enemies looking to steal/destroy/control the MC. This novel is kind of just me writing the story I wish I could read. I like thinking about the experimentation that can be done in fantasy settings using 'mana' as an excuse to make up rules and try to keep them internally consistent. IE once I define how a rule works, I'm going to commit to keeping it – no breaking hard truths I've given when it's convenient, even if it backs me into a corner. Hopefully, that should make the story interesting to read even if it's SOL and less action-oriented. There will be problems to solve and a clear progression in strength (of created monsters and knowledge) however due to not wanting to force conflict for the sake of conflict the general theme will be closer to slice of life with few action sequences and no overarching goal so please keep that in mind when picking this up as the genre is not for everyone. Finally, I have a clear goal of what I want from this story (not an endless romp but a series of arcs and then a conclusion that's a couple of dozen medium-sized chapters long) I want to commit to finishing it or at least bringing it to a point of rest. I hate all the engaging stories that stop with a “hiatus” indefinitely so in the event I lose motivation I'll work to end this even if the ending becomes rushed/unsatisfying just to give a sense of closure. I’m planning on including several polls in terms of direction and taking feedback heavily into account if I get enough readers (but may choose to ignore it if it deviates too far from the direction I want to take this as in feedback like: “The MC needs a cartoonishly evil arch-enemy that wants to enslave him and force the mc to pump out magic items” or “the MC needs to make a body and learn teleportation then live with humans” will get shot down without consideration.)
8 258Fighting to be Kind in a Cultivation World
Aren't you tired of the typical cultivation story, where an isekai'd person comes into the world and becomes a brutal or selfish person? I know I am. So instead of being fully changed by the world, I want this protagonist to stick to their beliefs and help to change the world (and people) for the better. There will still be main character development and tests of those beliefs, but I want them to maintain that aspect. Brief Synopsis:American is thrown into a typical Xuanhuan cultivation world where the masses of the people are typically sacrificed for the abilities of the few. This is meant to be an alternate take on how protagonists approach these worlds. Main character comes into the world w/ scanning, healing, and monster taming abilities. The release schedule will begin on Dec 1st. The schedule is 2 chapters/week (Tue & Fri) at 11pm. Please like, comment, and follow, as that helps me to gauge interest in the series. Final note: I notice that many cultivation novels treat abuse or sexual assault as a throwaway tool to set a stage. I think the way it is normally done is both lazy and a disrespectful to victims. If you have any suggestions on how I can improve the way I've done it in this series, please let me know. I want to do this the right way. P.S. *Nudge, nudge* If you are looking for a sneak peek of up to 16 chapters ahead, check out my Patreon. :D
8 185The Tales of the Revolution
Synopsis: As a scholar of science and technology, Joseph Algorith was a man who pursued his dream in unrealistic methods, using his intelligence to surpass all hurdles in this Galactic Era. He was an idealist that combined his thoughts with realism. However, unbeknownst to him in how it had happened, he had gained the opportunity to research a new system, a massive planetoid shrouded in mysteries and magic. However, to fully realize his ambition and creativity, he must save the human race of this magical world, filled with different races and monsters. “The Heavens had forced me, so I shall propose and never will be disposed of.”- Joseph Algorith Spoiler: Basically, he is reborn, with his knowledge as a scientist of the galactic era, into a new world with magic and aura powers. In this world, humans are part of the 7 major races, but two (or three) are planning to enslave them, while the others are watching on the sidelines. His plans are to develop modern weapons to strengthen the human nation because the mages and aura users aren't immortal or have steel flesh even as they get more power to the point they can deal damage of a howitzer using special moves. Though it doesn't mean that there aren't magical armours (and other things)... Extra: I'm not sure if romance will be in this. Depends on whether you, the readers, would like it or how I develop the story further. And there won't be an exact release schedule as I prefer my pace of writing and because I'm busy in life (school and extra activities, FML). If you find any mistakes, please remind me. Also, my writing style and the pace of the story may be slower than other stories you might have read on this website. Though I may make some revisions with the story, considering my editor's thoughts. Also, my story has some concepts from RTW in terms of the idea of creating weapons in a magical world, however, the plot is mine. After reading, tell me, what do you think of the beginning? What do you think your rating would be.?If possible, comment down below anything that could help me improve or to express your thoughts. Lastly, please NO COPY AND PASTE!

8 122TNS Piper Season 8 (Must Read)
This is my first ever story on Wattpad so enjoy! This is my thinking of season 8, for Piper, and I hope you all enjoy reading it. This is probably gonna include a LOT of Piper as she's one of my most favourite characters in TNS history. However there are some Richozzy moments, Hamy moments and other couples too! It's a wild ride for A troupe with nationals coming up and not knowing WHO is even going to go!
